I hope I am posting in the right place.
I need to transform my existing Logitech keyboard which has a German layout into one that can type into Arabic. Is there a way I can do so? I saw many stickers with Arabic alphabets for keyboards. Are these of use?
Looking forward to your help. Thank you.
I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.
I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.
You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/directdownload.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

How To Fix A Keyboard With Wrong Characters
Good luck and let us all know how the repair job went!
I am running Windows 8.1. After restarts, the laptop screen would be blank, yet the computer would load. If I hooked up a 2nd monitor, it would show the desktop on that screen but laptop screen blank.
Now when I try to type on that computer (I'm currently on a different computer) the typing of the keys is all off (none of the letters actually type what they are supposed to and some open up random windows and command prompts)
I am wondering if this is a virus. Currently running Malwarebytes. I did a system restore earlier and the problem wasn't solved.
Could be a virus, but could also mean the motherboard is faulty. If still in warranty, RTM.
Does the laptop have a bootable CD reader? If so, then download and make a bootdisk of a small linux (e.g. puppy linux). Booting off that will virtually prove if the motherboard is faulty or not.
Hello, I went through the process of cleaning my mouse while the monitor was off and I'm fairly sure I clicked something maybe I shouldn't have but after that the whole keyboard was messed up..
E shows up as ]
D shows up as ''
Esc, start, [ , n, y, I, F1-F12 keys don't register, among a few others..
Things I've tried so I don't waste anyones time.. [Windows 7]
Changed Location, Keyboard Layout (English - US) is the only language
Ctrl - Shift x1/2, Alt - Shift x1/2, and pretty much any other variant I could think of.
Plugged another keyboard in, same thing.
Plugged keyboard in another computer, works like a charm.
Restarted, plugged and unplugged. Uninstalled and tried to update driver..
Nothing worked so far, hopefully you can can make something happen.
Thanks in advance.
i have somehow bumped something on my keyboard - when i hit the left shift key it deletes the line of text and adds the star icon above the number 8. and when i hit the right shift key it adds a + and will delete text in the next row.
how can a undo this silly shortcut i have activiated.
Is this a problem in 'MS Word'? Or generally using the keyboard?
Which version of windows are you using?
But anyway, try ' Start', 'Control panel', 'Hardware', 'Devices','keyboard'
Then right-click on it, choose 'properties'
Then click on 'restore defaults'
Whenever I type on my Logitech G510, it doesn't type any characters but when I press "f" it'll bring up recent searches and responds, I'll edit as soon as I'm able to test the keyboard on a different computer, do any of you have any Ideas? When I go into device manager it shows that the device is responding correcting and is not reporting any issues.
EDIT: The keyboard is functioning on another computer.
Restart your computer. You have a stick key problem. I forgot what exactly it is called and how to cure it without restarting since I had this issue, but it was a while ago.

Hi, I have the same problem too. How did you fixed it? THANK YOU!
Sometime ago I spill water on my keyboard, on the area of character '1'. And ever since the key '1' keeps typing himself when unneeded.
After the splitting I detached the keyboard and dried it, I cleaned it several times after it too. When nothing helped I even switched to a brand new keyboard, but even this didn't help.
So if the problem not in the keyboard, where it can be? Maybe it's the old connections of the keyboard and laptop? Maybe the connection is a little wrong? Or on what another levels the problem might be..
Guys I'll be grateful for answers and advices, really want t solve this problem
Try re-seating the keyboard connector to the motherboard connector
The letters "ck" appear while I type - the ck appears random for example typing while may appear ckhile or sometimes it appears while I press space bar.
Any ideas to why?
SOLVED read post below
I finally figured out what was wrong - unsure what made me do this - but I had my keyboard conected to an USB hub and when conected keyboard striaght ito the computers USB it is now working fine.

Hi Everyone- when Asus 1015, typing moves Cursor when cursor jumping Eee typing on a new Asus EEE with Win the Cursor jumping Asus Eee 1015, cursor moves when typing cursor will suddenly jump backwards to an earlier spot in the text This happens a lot and makes it difficult to type anything I googled and saw this problem for many systems and OSs but it seems like mainly a laptop and netbook problem some people have erduced sensitivity on touchpads or have updated touchpad drivers or have Cursor jumping Asus Eee 1015, cursor moves when typing installed a program that disconnects the touchpad when the keys are being used We know we are not touching the touchpad accidentally you can really perch your fingers way above and the jump still happens We have decreased the sensitivity on the touchpad and the jumping still happens We also have an Asus EEE Win XP for almost a year with absolutely no cursor jumping Any info specific to this set-up I would love to hear any insights before I go into a long routine of upgraing BIOS upgrading touchpad drives etc nbsp
As the PC is new I would return it under warranty as this is most likely a hardware issue.
The only quick fix that might work is to reinstall the touchpad drivers from the Asus site. You could also check in the touchpad settings to see what is set for making the cursor disappear during typing, change the setting from whatever it is at present and see if that helps.

If not, remove download MSE from Microsoft and remove all Norton or other AV on your system. Do a full scan with MSE.

when typing sometimes when i press a key it wont type. ive plugged in 2 different keyboards and the same thing still happens. at first i thought it was just terrible user error, but ive watchd myself type the keys and noticed that my key press wasnt registering. i noticed that it helps a lil to type slowly. (again its not just user error lol). i only have these typos when typing online.
i updated Acrobat reader, Java, and upgraded to ie9 platform. im still having a lil trouble with it, although it does seem to have improved a bit. i checked for updated drivers and i couldnt find anything.
need help troubleshooting this
Sometimes, a thorough cleaning of socket and boards with a can of Dust Off or other treated canned air can resolve the problem...
Try a very simple keyboard from any source that you know is working well... Keep a record of the keys that work improperly.
I have an hp laptop and my keyboard is being acting very weird. When pressing almost all the keys, i get a group of letters. For example, when pressing "v" i get "bgv". some of them stopped responding at all. I used to get "1qa" when pressing "q", but now it doesnt even respong. Also, the on-screen keyboard shows that both shifts are pressed.
Can anyone help me with this?
Try an external (USB) keyboard
If that works without issue, then it sounds as though your laptop keyboard is faulty (dust or moisture)
You could try blowing it out with high compressed air (compressed air cans can be purchased from many electronic or computer tech stores)
But you may need to replace the faulty keyboard
I have an HP Pavilion laptop that is about 2 yrs. old. About a month ago I noticed that as I type in ANY program (emails, word, this post) I will type sentences and the
cursor annoyingly skips to another part of the text. It has done it several times as I type this post. It seems to happen randomly. any ideas?

I knocked over a small glass of water on my laptop last night, most of the water skirted off. I dried the computer by taking the keyboard out, opening the case from one side and using a hairdrier on low.
Here are the problems: Keyboard is typing by itself, types double letters/number and some keys dont work at all. I tried reseating the cable, but this did not help the problem.
Power - The main power button does not work. I can get the pc to power on by taking the battery out, unplugging the power cord from the back, then plugging it back in. If the battery is in or the pc has been shut down without the battery installed and with the power cord in, the pushing the power button does not power on the pc.
Please let me know how I can approach fixing these problems.
and the laptop is HP? anyway, we need the model name.
what would you do if you spilled some liquid on keyboard?
1. shut off the unit immediately!(that means, plug out AC cord and battery as faster as you can).
2. turn it upside down(if it's possible open it and lay it on the table upside down, thus the liquid won't spill LCD module).
3. after some time, start to disassemble it fully and clean inside the laptop.
in your case, the liquid is already damaged power chains inside the laptop, and you'll have to fully disassemble it and clean!
whenever i open my computer, it starts typing random things.
for example i cant write a normal text. because it seems like the 0 and . keys are stuck but they are not. so i get something like this appearing on my screen.
also everytime i click on a file a popup comes up asking if i want to delete the file. as if the delete button is stuck. but it actually isnt.
my start menue is always popping up like it is being held down. and same with all the F keys on the top of the keyboard. after unplugging the keyboard im still getting the same problem.
anyone know how to rid this problem?
Have you tried another keyboard? (ideally a USB direct connection keyboard)
Thanks for the help in advance. I am not sure what I should do. I have a Toshiba laptop and have owned it for about a year now. In the last two days, the "7" key and the "home" key have been typing on their own. It seems to get worse (the keys type more frequently) the longer the computer is running. I scanned for viruses but didn't find anything.
Anybody have an idea?
Have you checked for spyware? I recommend using the following 3 anti-spyware utilities:
Spybot Search & Destroy
All are free and can be downloaded over the Internet.
I installed Intellimouse Wireless Explorer 2; mouse works fine. Dell keyboard is putting each letter I type, before, not after, the last. If I put the mouse over the weird text in box, it slowly scrolls backwards over the letter. Not erasing, but moving on its own.
What i suggest is for you to either uninstall the drivers or use system restore to get back to a time before you installed the drivers.
Then boot up and let the os install standard drivers, see if all is well.
Also, double check your connections at the back of the pc and make sure there isnt a bent wire on the mouse or keyboard connector that plugs into the ps2 port at the back of your pc. I have seen that happen a lot, its easy to happen.
Please disregard. Problem has been fixed.
Nevermind guys. The problem has been fixed. I will post again if I have anymore problems. -Thanks.
Ben! delete this post if you have plms solved!
Ive got a problem where i can see what my neighbour is typing and it is interfering with my computer. If he types a letter, that letter is displayed on my pc if ive got a document open, or it just makes that annoying ping sound.
I am not in a network or on the internet when this happens, just doing general things.
Does anybody know of this problem and how i can resolve it?
Are you using a laptop? or wireless keyboard? or wireless adapter for internet?

For starters, what operating system are you using?
I have a Dell Precision T with dual quad core GHz processors with GB of ram and I am running a bit version of windows ultimate I have only had the computer about months but I haven t really had problems with it just upgrading it to the way I want it The problem just started a couple of days ago and I thought it was maybe because I had been putting off installing quot Tune Up Utilities quot on it That program seems to work wonders on getting everything to run smoothly after a full operating system install and all the programs you want installed all at once along with it not to mention drivers updating media player internet explorer installing flash player etc you and Computer slow, browser to so typing wants especially run in get the idea Mainly it started most with all the ads completely covering the pages on Ebay I thought Ebay just went crazy selling ad space for profit but Computer wants to run so slow, especially in browser and typing this is too much In my opinion the amount of ads will adversely affect the main purpose of Ebay since they cover most of the important information about the items for sale and their descriptions Also whole new ad pages are popping up almost every time I click on a link but instead of going where I should it pops up another full page ad to have to get rid of Another problem that has been getting progressively worse is the slow typing I finally fixed Explorer to surf the internet by resetting everything to factory presets but the pages are so slow to load and even after loading they don t want to scroll up and down I hated to put this under mal-ware and virus setting forum but I couldn t find anything more appropiate If anyone can help please let me know I have only just installed the necessary programs to run windows because solid state drives are so expensive that I could only afford an GB for fast startup and I have a new GB drive to add for the slave and a terabyte that should be good once it is reformatted I was just going to add them when this happened and I didn t want to carry over problems to new drives Any input is greatly appreciated nbsp
You are rightly concerned about malware infection so you need to start running scans to check this out. Which security programs are installed and have you run full system scans? SAS anti spyware and Malwarebytes are good free scanners worth downloading and running. This is a priority because the sooner you are onto malware and virus problems the better the chance of removing them.
I don't share your enthusiasm for Tune up Utilities and would uninstall it but you've probably paid a hefty subscription for the year. CCleaner is a useful free utility worth looking into but firstly check thoroughly for possible infection.
So with my upgrade to Windows 10 many little problems have arisen. My disk being at 100% (solved), my main clicks not registering all the time (solved), my mic and headphones not working (solved), but what I can't seen to fix is the typing. Since I upgraded, every time I'm typing my laptop will either stop what I'm typing OR it will move my place, so I continue typing to an earlier place inbetween words and such. It's very frustrating. It does it in and out of games, within notepad, notepad++, etc. and I don't know how to stop it. I would assume it's phantom clicks by my touchpad, but I never had this problem until Windows 10, and I do not get any phantom clicks while in game or anything of the sort which would make me change direction and such.
Can someone help me out?
Hi. I use gedit as editor in my Linux systems (SUSE and Fedora); there I find that I can't type in accented characters like I used to do in Windows.
In the text editor in Windows, even using an English keyboard configuration, I could type in accented characters by entering a combination of Alt+<ASCIIcode>, for example Alt+130 would type in the accented 'e' character; this sequence doesn't work in Linux.
Any suggestions on how to solve the problem ?
In GNOME, you can use Ctrl+Shift+u<code>. <code> means the unicode code point in hex. A la hold ctrl, hold alt, type u40 and you get @

We have large RDS deployment with installed Office 2013 (curr. ver. 15.0.4701.1000 32-bit).
I have noticed a significant CPU load by Winword.exe process.
Further investigation showed that this load is generated during users typing. It takes up to 15% of core.
It seems that is not so much, but not on Terminal server.
Wondering, if Draft view is using (instead of Print Layout) CPU usage decreases.
Maybe, are there some settings to decrease CPU load during usage of Print Layuot (users don't want using Draft)?
Or some Hotfix?
That is not going to work. Print mode is usually read only.
If users are typing into the document it has to be in draft or review mode. Print mode is formatted for a printer.
Doing it the way you are/want involves word having to change the mode of the document each time you type (and could possibly be for each character)

My keyboard is typing correctly in Word but types nonsense when I type in either a browser window or in my email. If I type a web address in Chrome, Explorer or Firefox it comes out as random letters, symbols and numbers and the same if I try to type an email in yahoo or gmail. As I say, it is fine typing in Word. Any ideas gratefully received.
PS I have been into Control Panel and made sure regional settings and keyboard setting are for English (UK)

I'm having the exact same thing on my Dell laptop. Are there any answers?
1) Please don't bump old posts. If you have a problem, start your own thread. Help will come faster that way usually.
2) This is almost always caused by the fact that the user of the laptop accidentally hits their trackpad with their wrist while typing, causing the cursor to move and click someone else, losing focus of the text box they were typing in. Some laptops are more prone to this due to their design.
The solution is:
1) Be more careful and don't hit the trackpad.
2) Use a mouse and disable the trackpad.
3) Disable trackpad's tap-to-click feature (if possible).

I wanted to post a log but it looks like the program that was suggested is not for Windows 10. This is my mom's laptop and she recently upgraded to Windows 10. She says when she upgraded that her computer started running extremely slow. I noticed that she had a lot of "programs" on her desktop that I have always associated with malware so I tried to remove them. It looks like they're gone at first glance but I'm sure they're still there. When I open her web browser multiple windows and tabs will pop up. Clicking on links or pressing enter upon typing a web address also open up new windows or tabs. What should I use to post a log? Thank you!

Hi, I have a word document that I am trying to type on. Thing is when I try to type on the name, address, etc lines it moves everything else that is in the same line. Is there any way to type on top of the line without moving it? Thanks
Hello there,If you want your document to have the appearance of being typed on a line, you can use the Underline function. This is achieved by using Ctrl + U to format the relevant lines.Regards,Alexhttp://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/568081/typing-on-a-line-in-word-2013/

It's gone crazy - typing random things, opening many many instances of Mozilla, control panel, and search. The keyboard doesn't type correctly, and it refuses to let me use the keyboard via monitor. It won't register certain letters at all and some are random other symbols or letters instead of what it's supposed to be. It's driving me crazy. I didn't do anything different except start DLing Sims4.
I know restoring won't work if I can't get the computer to work right to get to that step. I can't get to my own desktop because the letters I need aren't all working to type in the ppassword. Any ideas?
Sounds like something was spilled on the keyboard. Do you have another keyboard you can try?http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/546221/computer-typing-out-random-letters-and-opening-programs/
I wonder if anyone could offer some clues here When I am typing on Facebook or in internet forums my Glitch Annoying Typing cursor often jumps to some random place Quite often I can be typing away and it will have jumped to somewhere else in the text or even out of the text so that Annoying Typing Glitch when I hit backspace it triggers the 'back' function of my browser I can't count the amount of times Annoying Typing Glitch I've lost whole posts to this phenomena It only happens with my laptop and I've never experienced this on my desk top system or any other system I've owned there it goes again while I was typing this I use Google Chrome since I had to stop using Firefox due to innumerable issues rendering it pretty much unusable I can't remember if it did this in Firefox or not Just wondered if anyone else has encountered this and if they know how to fix it I don't know if it's a Windows bug or a browser fault
It is most likely either hardware in your computer or, do you ever come close enough to place a finger tip on the pad.
Do you normally use a mouse or just the Touch Pad on the laptop ??
There has so far (that I have found) not a Windows 7 problem related to this, usually one of the above.
As a 3rd option, have you ever cleaned the inside of the keyboard area, since dust (or similar), can cause this also ?
If you operate in a dusty area (heavy carpet or not well ventilated) this will (can) cause a build up inside.
Is there any issue with Internet Explorer similar to this, or have you not tried it yet ??
Also is the problem the same when you use Notepad or any OFF line program ??
Thank You -
A few weeks ago I had to do a restore on my computer because it wouldn't load up when I restarted it. Ever since then, random stuff will be happening when I'm typing. Especially when using Chrome. I'll be typing and a popup menu that you typically left click for will pop up. An HTML screen will open up. The tab I have opened up will even close as I'm typing. Other times the curser will just go to another part of the paragraph I'm typing. I can't figure out how to stop this. Anyone have any ideas?
A little more information would be useful to get started with. Make and model of computer, desktop or laptop ?
Do these problems only happen in Chrome or do they happen regardless of the application you are running ? Have you tried using a different browser ?
I am experiencing 2 problems.
The first problem I am experiencing is that sometimes while typing, my letters will backspace by one like I pressed backspace my self. I don't know what caused this,.
The 2nd is that sometimes while I'm browsing through my computer, the start menu will appear as If I have pressed the windows key. Yet I have not done this. I appreciate any help I could get.
Try a different keyboard, please.
For comparative purposes, if nothing else.
Is there a fix?
I would hope so.
Tell us more about the system and the software. Also, how long has this been going on? Wired / wireless?
Stable surface for the keyboard & mouse? If typing causes the surface to move the mouse will move.
Mainly in Quickbooks and Microsoft Access, but I'll try to type in a date and it will type two numbers and freeze up for a couple of seconds before typing the rest. Also, if I try to search for something, it can take up to three minutes whereas my coworker's computer takes only a few seconds.
It's not really a huge deal, but it's annoying to start typing up notes and have it take a minute instead of five seconds.
My memory and CPU usage never get above 50%, so I don't really know what's wrong.

I've got Cclener & Adaware pro (paid) version running & I'm still experiencing SLOOOOWWW internet on my DELL laptop. Doesn't matter which browser type I use, IE or chrome; same results.
Also occurring is my cursor jumping to where ever the I-beam is on the screen; its bleeping driving me nuts
Define, as best you can, what you mean by slow. How long have you been using Adaware Pro?When did the slowness start?Who is your internet provider? Are you using an external mouse or the laptop touchpad? You can also try the suggestions here to see if they help with getting rid of the slownesshttp://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/87058/slow-computerbrowser-check-here-first;-it-may-not-be-malware/http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/562904/slow-internet-on-all-browsers-and-cursor-jumping-during-typing/
Greetings. Re: Windows 7
I have Yahoo for a home page and like read the Sports articles. I take part in the commentary and when I type a comment, there is a long delay between when I hit a key and it appears on the screen. Sometimes I can type numberous letters and then one or two will appear after a long delay and the others don't. Sometimes too, there is a stacato effect between typing and appearance. Also I play on-line games via the Gamesville website and it can start off smooth and soon, things become herky-jerky and very very slow and sometimes freeze. Could the two be related to a common cause? Thank You.

Well I've got this computer...
It has this thing that if i click like K it comes up IK.
The point is if i type a letter it types another word.
Heres some examples:
Typing K comes up IK.
Backspacing comes with an apostrophe.
Did you spill anything on the keyboard? even if you dired it up the keyboard could still get damaged.http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/549504/typing-letters-messed-up/
When I start typing e-mails, it seems that I need to wait for the PC to catch up with my typing. Sometime it misses letters and I need to go back and reenter the missing letters. Now, I find that when I go into Task Manager 3 or 4 of the IEXPLOR.EXE are in the very high numbers in the memory (private working set). Sometimes the numbers are into 200k to 600k. Everything else ins in the 20k area. If I end process in each of these I find that I can return to normal typing. Do you think there is a fix for this? Or do I have a virus?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
One possibility is that a add-on may be keeping the multiple instances of IE from closing.
You can check this by right clicking on the IE icon on the taskbar and choose start without add-ons.
If this turns out to be the case you can turn them off one at a time to determine which is the culprit.
Right click on the taskbar and click on the Tools button, then click on Manage add-ons.
Click on All add-ons under Show, then select the add-ons you want to turn off.
Click on Disable, then click on Close.
My keyboard was working fine and then it start to type the wrong characters, eg, when I hit the "0" I get "/" My computer is a Lenovo G530 MT 4446

Check your operating system's mouse pointer settings in Control Panel and try lowering the speed under the Pointer Options tab. When set too fast, the mouse may jump all over the desktop at the slightest touch. How to instructions with screenshots here.If you have a wireless mouse, low batteries can result in weak, mixed or no signals that can affect its functionality so start by replacing them. If you are using a ball mouse, remove it and clean the rollers as dirt and gunk will cause erratic behavior. If its an optical mouse, "jumpiness" and "jerky" movements can result if using it on a glossy surface or reflective mouse pad. In some cases using multiple or uneven mouse pads can produce the same results. As a test, try placing it on a piece of newspaper or rubberized pad to see if that resolves the problem. If that does not help, confirm that the mouse works on another machine. I got a laptop One K56-3N2 (Clevo P157SM) and it's keyboard keeps typing "\" without me pressing it. I tried cleaning the key but the problem persisted. I tried turning the "\"-key off / remapping it with an aplication and it did work in a way. I could remap the "\"-key to do something else, like to be a left arrow, and when i press it did work like a left arrow but it still wouldn't stop typing "\" without me pressing it.
I clicked something and was greeted by malware that created https popups in Explorer. Below are the my attempts to correct.
1. Deleted the new programs from the change and remove programs.
2. Ran Mcafee - nothing noted
3. continued to get popups
4. deleted directories with same name "tool bars and extensions"
5. continued to get popups
6. downloaded Malwarebytes and found several pups and quarantined all.
8. No longer can i log in, language seems to be Arabic.
9. I tried to refresh but would not work- it made me log in. this is where i noticed that the language was set to ARABIC 2.
The computer boots fine, I cant read the language and my password does not work.
Would a restore to a restore point reset the langauge? Is there any way to recover this PC?

I have windows 7 on a Samsung laptop
My cursor is acting erratically
It highlights objects in web pages and drags them as if I had clicked and selected them when I move it- I up end deleting e mails pulling tabs into new windows in
It highlights text when I type so that on the next key stroke I delete it.c
It acts as if I were clicking and dragging objects
Even typing this topic was a problem
So it may just be a coincidence. I just installed Windows 10 on my PC. And now when I try to type in yahoo mail it only lets me type one letter at a time. Then I get this twirling blue icon indicating it is working on adding that ONE letter to the message. I have never had this problem before.
Has anyone else had this problem. And if so, how might I get yahoo mail to accept letters typed as I type them?
Lately when I hit certain keys, e.g., the space bar, the shift key and others I get a flash and bell sound when typing. I have no idea how or why this is suddenly happening and wonder how to eliminate it.
Any one have a suggestion?
What program are you typing in? That sound would denote that whatever program is in focus does not accept those key strokes.http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/380964-help-irritating-scrren-flash-sound-when-typing.html
I would like to hide the address bar but still be able to use the forward and back buttons and some other features. I have add the rege key to remove nav bar but that removes everything. Im using this in a citrix xendesktop environment.
I will deploy a site but don't want the users to navigate to other sites. For instance go to our intranet site but stop them from going to our firewall gui page. So when they click on links I wont them to be able to go back to the previous page.
It's designed by default, and we cannot only hide address bar. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi I am looking for a bit of advice if possible I really don't know what to call my problems and I don't know if its related to my laptop or the 2 windows upgrading since issues annoying to issues Typing 10 upgrade Firstly when dragging an internet page up or down using the mouse pad 2 annoying issues since upgrading to windows 10 Typing issues buttons work fine the bar doesn't release for a second or so I know this may not sound bad but as I move to click something or whatever it moves my page all over as it still thinks I am dragging the page so any help on that would be great Also when I search on the 2 annoying issues since upgrading to windows 10 Typing issues internet through google or whatever a lot of the time when I type once I look what I have typed the first letter is always at the end of the sentence so again any assistance on that would be great I am using a samsung laptop although I can't see that being the problem as these issues didn't happen while on windows Thanks
It appears your Mouse Setting have Click Lock enabled...
go into control panel > mouse setting > and verify click lock is off..
Also a lot of times you can enable click-lock by clicking the center wheel of the mouse
Hello On some websites when I type anything into text boxes it seems to double space my text sometimes As an example here is some copied text as I typed it only pressing the space bar once when required This is a test example it even does a space before the commas - EDIT - this website seems to automatically remove the double spacing when I posted the thread the sentence above did have double spacing when I copied and pasted it Here is a screenshot instead I have highlighted one of the spaces to clearly identify how it has double spaced it Has anyone one ever heard of this or know what it could be I have tried typing when Google issue Chrome - spacing text disabling all my extensions to see if any were the cause and restarted the browser but it still occurs It does not happen on every page and Google Chrome - text spacing issue when typing every text box just seems to happen rarely at random maybe once Google Chrome - text spacing issue when typing or twice a week I notice it doing it I am on version m Windows -bit
Does problem also occur with IE ? Has your key board received moisture or need cleaning ? May want to remove and check connection.
May also try to reset or reinstall Chrome.
I found this article on how to disable it, but it only seems to apply to Micosoft Office.
Turn Off Office 2013s Distracting Typing Animation
I find this typing animation in the Mail app to be extremely distracting! I can't type correctly with it because of how distracting it is. I can't seem to find the Mail app or anything to go with it in the registry and I've experimented a little bit, but nothing has worked.
Any ideas?? Where is the Mail app's settings in the registry??
Thanks in advance! If you need more info, I'll try to provide whatever I can to make the issue more clear.
In my work computer (Windows 10 Pro 64-bit) I noticed a strange phenomenon. When I switch keyboard layout to Greek in order to type Greek in Google or elsewhere, it types strange symbols instead of the actual character! This happens in every website when I try to type data in a box or wherever else. If I write the text in Notepad or elsewhere and I copy-paste, it is OK. The problem is I cannot type directly in Greek. The keyboard produces symbols instead of Greek characters! This problem is only in IE 11, in Google Chrome I can type OK.
Please don't tell me to use another browser! Give me a solution. It might be some setting since I don't have this problem at home (see my specs).
After examining carefully all settings, I wasn't sure if the advanced settings were correct or screwed. So I decided to reset the advanced settings to default. This did the trick. It could be something with UTF8, but not sure. Resetting to default cancelled any wrong setting and now it works OK.
PS: I didn't change anything else, only reset the advanced settings to default. That's for anyone having the same issue.
I have a All in One Pavilion 23 Desktop. I did a Windows 10 update a few days ago and now every time i go to type my computer screen goes black. Hi! I'm kinda out of ideas.
So earlier today all of a sudden my pc started to whenever I typed the following symbols : "" '' ~~ ^^
They were typed double. so whenever I typed one of those symbols it came out as two symbols.
which meant I can't do apostrophes and all that good stuff.
This has never happend to me before and I didn't change anything about my pc at all.
I even switched keyboards and it still had the same issue.
Sounds like a driver problem. Try this:
Using Only a Mouse
Click the Windows "Start" button, right-click "Computer" and select "Manage" to open the Computer Management window. Select "Device Manager" from the pane on the left. Expand the Keyboards section, right-click on the keyboard you want to repair and choose "Uninstall." Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Restart." When your computer boots up, Windows will detect your keyboard and install the driver.
Hopefully that may solve your problem.

I'm having trouble with my two month old Dell laptop Mouse/Cursor/Typing problem This problem Mouse/Cursor/Typing problem started a month ago and is getting worse I cannot type more than a couple of characters before my cursor disappears I have to click again at the end of the passage to continue As well while I'm browsing the internet usually IE but also using Chrome I will frequently lose my cursor Let's say I'm scrolling using my mouse trackpad or keyboard not clicking though I will suddenly be unable to continue scrolling I need to click somewhere in order to reestablish contact and then I can scroll in a variety of ways again At the moment I lose my cursor the top of the screen goes from blue to grey If I allow it to turn grey and wait a few seconds the grey will flash periodically It's clear to me that the computer is doing something else that is pulling the cursor away from my screen Any ideas
Try updating your mouse drivers by following these steps:
a. Press Windows and x key together and select Device Manager.
b. Locate the touchpad driver.
c. Right click on the Touchpad driver icon and click on “Update Driver software”.
d. Click on “Search automatically for Updated driver software” option.
If the driver update doesn't fix the problem, try FN+F3, this disables/enables the touchpad and it may fix the issue. Hope I was of some help!
As soon as I stop typing, the system goes to sleep after approximately 5 seconds. All my power options is Never Sleep.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Hi, forgive a basic question- are you sure it's going to sleep?
(For example, can you confirm you get a logon prompt on resuming?)
Have you checked your screen saver settings- a blank screen saver might explain what you're seeing.
Control Panel, Appearance and Personalisation, Screensaver
It's always worth search the forum- there are many many threads on sleep issues... enough to, well, send you to sleep..
This turns up from time to time.
Monitor turns off after 2 minutes of inactivity - Page 2 - Windows 10 Forums

Why does my computer suddenly sleeps even though I already changed the - Microsoft Community
Windows 10 sleeps after 3 minutes, no matter what.
The Cursor is jumping around while I type. This is very frustrating. I only just upgraded to Windows 7, it was a clean install, b.c I had been having so many troubles with Vista (it kept crashing).
I seem to have a Microsoft curse.
This is very frustrating - I am seriously questioning whether my next major purchase will involve Windows, as reliability seems to be a problem!
Before going further, would you please let me know if the issue only occurs when trying in Word? What about notepad or other software? What is your mouse model?
Does it have the driver? Did you install any mouse related software?
First, make sure your computer model is supported Windows 7. If so, update the latest mouse and touchpad driver from manufacture's site. Also, go to Mouse Properties
-> Pointers Options tab -> clear the option for Enhance pointer precision.
If the issue persists, I suggest performing a
Clean Boot or Safe Mode to check the result.

I'm a German guy living in Canada. I like my operating systems like I like my women:
1. User interface in English
2. Keyboard layout in German
Except, women don't have keyboard layouts and I like international women, too. But you get the idea.
Now, in Windows 10, I can only select one language for typing and reading. That makes me a sad panda.
So I went ahead and refused to install the German language pack, leaving the user interface largely in English while getting me my nice German keyboard layout. But yesterday, I found that all those native Windows apps (Weather, Maps) are now in German all of a sudden.
It's no big deal since I obviously speak both languages, but I must say, I've become quite fond of my English user interface and German keyboard layout. Insert obligatory But-Ubuntu-Does-It-Better rant here.
Anybody know a workaround? I'm sure there are more expats here who suddenly face this problem.
No expat but Belgian tech professional here . -.- I have been rackin my brain on this one too.
All i want is my Windows in UK english but my keyboard in azerty.BUT I do also need English,Dutch and French proofing tools which automatically come with their own keyboards.Lot of alt + shift going on here.Help.
I've had the title happening since last night, and I think its related to the replacement mini PCI-E wifi card I installed last night, but then again there was a dmp at 8 am yesterday also, but was still doing the same just normal browsing.
I think I was watching some videos and downloading at same time. the last few days I have had some pop ups from win 10 about having to restart due to drive errors or something like that, so downloaded the kingston ssd checker tool and looks ok.
The BSOD screen says 'page fault in non paged area" for all three times.
The wifi card is an AzureWave Broadcom BCM94352, which I had trouble finding drivers and had to use some from ASUS.
Well here's the gathered info.
Yup, looks like the Broadcom Wireless driver is the culprit.
Try the Broadcom Wireless Windows 10 driver from Lenovo, see if that works for you.
If that doesn't help, see this thread for a similar/identical problem and solutions:

An attachment below will best explain what i am asking your help for.
Very often[not always] while i am typing a letter in the text of g-mail [i don't know about firefox etc] and i want to add a forgotten letter or so in the text, the next [already typed letter is wiped out and all sequent ones and i have then to type the whole rest of the sentence again.
Any clue how to repair this "evil"?
This does not happen in a word file [wordpad ,WPS writer etc] so it can't be a problem with the keyboard.
Thanks for your help
The curser looks like an overstrike (insert/delete) key
When you type it replaces the character the cursor is over
try clicking on the insert/delete - if a laptop using the FN key
the cursor will change from a block to a line
I have ThinkPad E460 running on Win10Prox64. After boot, the touchpad will work fine. But when i start to type in, the touchpad and keyboard frozen. Then i have to connect the external mouse and keyboard to continue working on the laptop. Please assist
I got myself a Scorpion K9 two weeks ago and it was working perfectly. Yesterday it just suddenly began to type in wrong letters, such as "X" is now "GX", "K" is now "LD". The number "1" is now my shutdown button.
Things that I've tried:
Removing my keyboard drivers.
Simple restart of the pc.
Please can you help me out?
Ever since we upgraded to Windows 10 and have been using Microsoft Edge, on two different computers, we find that especially when we're typing yahoo email, it's like the system can't keep up with our typing. Whole words will be missing or parts of words will be missing. It's getting very annoying, because it means I have to read back through every email to be sure major things haven't been left out. I saw where someone else posted about having this same problem a couple of months ago and I never saw any concrete solution. Anyone have any ideas?http://www.tenforums.com/browsers-email/45649-why-does-edge-not-keep-up-typing-yahoo-email.html
I am on the internet and trying to type in a password and a code. As I hit each letter and Number, it comes up with another letter or no.
plus whilst typing suddenly the cursor disappears into another word on the same line or somewhere else on the document.
This is becoming very irritating.
As stated above in the questionnaire, my system was sluggish and I ran my PCMatic scan which would stop running about 40% through the scan. I ran Malwarebytes (free) with no issues found. Removed PCMatic and installed AVG (free) which found some issues and cleaned them up but performace wasn't improved much. My keyboard then began to act quirky by characters not appearing or the cursor jumping around or nothing will happen but the "system busy wheel" pops up for a few seconds before characters appear on the screen.
I came back to you guys because TwinHeadedEagle was so effective at helping me with my desktop 18 mos ago that I was hoping for help.
Thanks, regards and please advise if I can once again get some assistance,
Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them.
Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.
