Hi all you savvy experts,
I recently bought a Toshiba Laptop in Saudi Arabia. It came pre-installed with an Arabic version of windows 7.
I have managed to change most of the language options to English under the control panel, but the core of windows is still Arabic, I see this with the welcome message in the beginning and some install/uninstall and error messages.
After contacting Microsoft support, they said that I should contact the manufacturer (Toshiba) and ask for a new OS in English.
Can anyone help me?
I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.
I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.
You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/directdownload.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)
As far as I know you have two options:
1/try to order original recovery installation disc on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx
2/you must install own OS version using original Microsoft installation disc
If you use option 2 you must buy Microsoft disc and pay valid licence for it. All necessary drivers, tools and utilities you can download from Toshiba download page http://www.toshibamea.com/en/Download-Files
I was doing a crossword puzzle online and all of the sudden a couple of windows flashed across the screen and the language changed from all English to a mixed English and Arabic (I believe). The menu bar at top of screen is gone too. HELP!
Press the Windows flag key + R and in the Run open field type: intl.cpl (press enter)
Check that the drop down box under “Format: English” is set to “Match Windows Display language (recommended)"
I would be a little leery that something malicious may have been installed on the computer to cause this unwanted change. You may want to update and run any AV and or anti-malware programs you may have installed.
using Google translate I translated "Zekrom Black is in Kuwait" into Arabic because I am making a picture in photoshop about friend's archeology intern in Kuwait so the title was going to be that in Arabic. but Windows 7 is copying the translated text backwards, even in notepad, it goes right when I hit the left arrow until it hits the word "Zekrom" (Zekrom is at the wrong spot in the pasted text (different than Google)) then Windows 7 goes in the right direction.
how do I get Windows 7 to paste the text properly and go the right direction?
I finally recovered my E-mail address which was hacked. But the page is in Arabic. How can I change it to English?
Another issue is still there. I need to changa a phone number to receive security code because the number on file is out of date. There is no option for me to change it.http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f217/change-from-arabic-to-english-653879.html
A friend of mine has Windows XP SP2. But its in arabic. Is there anyway to convert it into English. We tried going to Control Panel and Language Options but no English was available there.

Watch the following video on changing the display language in Windows 8. Pay particular attention to the icons. The icons are the one thing that does not change , regardless of the display language installed.http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Software-and-How-To-Questions/how-to-change-from-arabic-to-english-language-in-my-hp-pro/td-p/5575917
I am trying to help a friend with his computer. Problem is he has a laptop running windows vista that is set up in arabic, that is the filenames, the settings options and everything appears in arabic. It is not just the keyboard input, which is set up to use different languages through the regional and language settings in the control panel. I dont understand arabic, so is there a way to make the computer start displaying everything in english so that I can see what going on, and then have a way to set it back to being arabic? When I say set it back to arabic, i mean the display language, the input language, the internet explorer window so that the x appears in the top left and not the top right.
how can i do that
click the start button, go to "كونترول بانل" (which is the control panel), then navigate to "كلك، لانغواج اند "رجين(which is the Clock, Language, and region), then go to "ريجينال اند لانغواج أبتينس" (which is regional and language options), a new window opens. click on the "ادمنستراسيون" (which is the administrative tab-or the last tab, 4th tab over), then click on the شنج سيستم لكل (which is change system locale), then your presented with the a drop down box, scroll down to : انجلش ( English if its presented like this, or English).
Hope this helps,
and i have no idea why. she is trying to do year 12 assigments that are due and is angry so i need to find out how to fix this. please any help is appreciated.http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/228435-need-help-have-no-idea-but-my-daughers-computer-keeps-going-english-arabic.html

If it's Windows 7 Enterprise and Ultimate, you can get Multilingual User Interface Pack: http://windows7center.com/tutorials/how-to...acks-mui-packs/http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/293722/need-to-convert-an-arabic-displaying-computer-to-english/
Hello. I'm an American living in Saudi Arabia. I just bought a Toshiba ultra book. It is very sleek and nice. But everything shows up in Arabic when I use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. The default language in the control panel is already in English. The location is USA. The desktop is in English. But browsing is all in Arabic. I don't want it to translate...I want all the browsing to be in English. HELP!
In chrome check Settings > Advanced Settings > Languages (or their Arabic equivalents).
In IE - Internet Options > General > Languages.
I've just upgraded from IE7/Vista SP1, x86, ITA to IE8.
Everything works fine except one thing: IE8's Live Search accelerator to tranlsate text is in arabic-english as default instead of the expected english-italian. If I change to english-italian settings won't be saved.
If I use InPrivate browsing or disable Protected mode it's ok instead.
This problems has been already reported by other users some months ago with the betas: Microsoft Translator Official Team Blog : IE8 Beta 2 - Translation Accelerator
Have had to delete EVERYTHING from Tools/Delete Browsing History, EXcluding only first checkmark option!
Deleting cookies more and more times was not enough!

I would download or borrow an English language Windows Seven DVD. Install it with no product key. You have 30 days to evaluate. Also you can extend that period several times. It's not illegal. See this tutorial:
By that time you should be able to determine you have everything working and can then find out what you need to do for activation to keep it permanently.
I live in belgium and naturally buy my hardware here. I don't, however, like to install my sotware in dutch as it's much easier to solve problems in english.
This means that I install an english windows 7 on my pc and I install english versions of software as wel.
Now, even though I do all this, I still get text in dutch both from the system and from software. For example, some error messages from windows itself are in dutch.
Can anyone explain to me how this is possible and how i can change it? It must have something to do with the hardware but when I install software in english, I expect it to be in English!
I don't think the hardware has anything to do with it. Question is whether you truely installed an English version. If that was an OEM installed Dutch Win7, then it is not part of the 5 language version (En, Fr, Ger, Span, JPN). You need a 5 language version installation disk to get full English. How did you actually install the "English version" - from what source.http://www.sevenforums.com/software/66207-english-installs-english-windows-still-dutch.html
After cleaning out several viruses, a rogue security program and a TDSS rootkit, I have a few Windows programs that are being displayed with an Arabic font - mainly the Windows security center and wireless networking applets. Screencap attached. I know I've come across this before and thought the problem lied in the registry, but can't seem to find the culprit.
If you've run into this before and can add some insight, I'd appreciate it. Win XP Media Center, SP2
So, no one's ever come across this before?http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f10/windows-security-center-displaying-in-arabic-528630.html
Just restored a clients machine to a previous restore point, cleaned everything up (virus/malware wise).Only problem I'm having now is some of the elements within windows are displayed in a different language.. I'm guessing Arabic. Already checked Regional/Lang settings, checked HKLM\Sys\CS001\Cont\Nls\Language tooOnly certain items in the CP and various dialogs are in Arabic:How do you fix this??? I believe its keeping me from installing SP3 on this machine as well...
My gut reaction was 'lol' at that screen shot; I've never actually seen the Arabic language pack in use. This was from a malware infection?? But let's address your problem, shall we?
First, let's start off by going into detail about your 'Regional and Language Options'. Was the regional options set to English? In the 'Language' tab, is the 'Text Services and Input Languages' option set to English as well?
Also, are you able to use a Win XP installation CD to repair Windows? If I'm not mistaken, there is an option to select your default Regional Settings there as well. Post back here with more details! Good luck. =)
when some one send me email in Arabic not all the text appears correctly especially in the title or in the attached file
it shows up as attached image " capture.png"
how can i solve it
Maybe someone can help me out here
i installed the extra language modules in windows vista so i can type in arabic.

It's very strange, cos a friend of mine actually did the same, and he actually CAN type arabic numbers.
I'm using English Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 on a laptop (no external keyboard).
Does anyone have a clue what the problem might be?

What is your default operating system language set to?
This would be found in Control panel in Regional settings.
When choosing the Win 10 install I am given these options:
Select Language: English (United Kingdom), English (United States)
are there any major differences? apart from the obvious one - certain words are spelt differently...
I had purchased Dell Inspiron 13" 7348 2-in-1 Laptop while in Japan. It came with Japanese Single Language Windows 8.1. Eventually I changed it to English by downloading English Language Pack.

Good day,I just want to ask if it is possible to install 2 windows 7 OS on the same computer? Cause I have a pc with Windows 7 Chinese OS preinstalled but hoping that I won't have to delete that OS and instead install an English version of Windows 7,I was hoping to dual boot it,is it possible and if it is can you help me on step by step on how to do it? many thanks
Yes, it's easy.
Just make a partition for your new install.
Boot the install dvd - foolow instructions and point the installer at your new partition.
The only issue you may have - as that is an oem machine - you probably have 4 partitions already on there.
If you post a screenshot of Disk Management window - someone will show you how to get rid of the annoying 100mb partition ( assuming you have one ).
I tried installing windows 10 x64 english (my language is slovakia) but everytime WU download slovak drivers (gpu,audio..)
Is here someway to get english drivers?
Does anybody knows the difference between Windows 8.1 English and Windows 8.1 English International distribution?
I haven't seen it listed that way.
Where are you seeing it listed like that?
In my MSDN, I can see the English-UK (en-GB), and the English (en-US) downloads:

Where can I locate an unmodified ISO? I'm looking to replace the disc that came with the FPP, I don't want to pay for a replacement disc from "Microsoft Supplemental/Replacement Parts", any ideas?
Windows XP Professional with SP3 Retail English
Size: 589.14 MB
legally, you can't find any downloads or ISO for XP
you might be able to buy a disc on ebay or amazon or similar or ask in your local computer shop. They often have extra copies of discs that will be legal to use with your original install key
Failing to repair my old Dell, I bought a Lenova laptop with XP Professional here in China. Unfortunately, the only guaranteed method for getting Windows in English is to buy an original CD, which is 1,900 RMB (187 GBP). That's far too expensive for me. However a friend says he may be able to install Windows 7 Ultimate, to which a language packed can be added that allows the language to be English.
But he hasn't tried it before and isn't sure it will work. Does anyone know about this?
Windows 7 costs just as much as WinXP, and you would also need a license key.
There are other operating systems that are "free", such as Linux, which may be a better option if you are looking to save money.
I am currently in japan so naturally when I bought a new keyboard it is a japanese keyboard It has romanji and kana on the keys When I first installed it the system treated it like a normal us keyboard Also the extra keys that allow you to switch between input modes do not work I did some searching and found how to get most of the layout correct However the yen key still does not work Also the extra japanese keys do not work at all I have the logicool k media keyboard and as I said it is the japanese version It has extra keys next to the space bar and the key left of which tilde on a normal us keyboard also has japanese symbols on it in Japanese Windows keyboard English Also I used the lang bar after switching the keyboard layout to japanese to switch to kana After doing this it did type kana symbols but they did not match the Japanese keyboard in English Windows kana symbol on the key I don t know much japanese yet but I would like to be able to use my keyboard as designed so when I do want to type in japanese I can use the buttons on the keyboard to switch modes and also type the yen character Japanese keyboard in English Windows
Hi eagled2, welcome to the forums
You may have already tried but here goes anyway
1, Open up control panel and click 'Change keyboards or other input methods'
2, Click 'Change keyboards' followed by 'Add'
3, Select 'Japanese' from the dropdown list and click OK
This should no install the driver & layout for the japanese keyboard
Hope it helps

Hi all, I have a quick question
I am buying a computer without an OS installed beforehand, so I am planning to buy a separate CD for it. However, I am currently living in Korea where only the Korean version of Windows 7 is available ("Windows 7 Home K"). Is it possible, when installing, to set the OS language as English? If not, how would I go about changing the language to English?
I know Windows 7 Ultimate features a language switcher but I'd rather not feel ripped off by buying a "better" and more expensive OS with extra features I have absolutely no need for.
Can't you buy a US version from the internet? Newegg, TigerDirect, Amazon?http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/208713-windows-7-home-premium-k-english.html
I got a PC that has German language installed.
I do not understand anything, can I download and install English Language Pack for that windows XP SP2 without total format?
you usually have to buy the english version of windows to get english
Windows PowerShell 1.0 English Language Installation Packages for Windows Server 2003 and for Windows XP
I recently helped a friend/customer build a new PC, everything came out great, not a single problem so I was kinda proud of myself for it
The simple issue is that I install Win 7 64 bit in English and it turns out my friend/customer can't really use it or does not feel comfortable because of it... he didn't say and I didn't ask
Is there any way that I can do something to convert it to Spanish in some sort of easy way or I just have to face the Music, toss what I did and start all over again from the beginning and install the OS in Spanish from scratch?
Say it isn't so!
If it's Ultimate you can use the Spanish language pack via optional Updates.
Otherwise what I would do is find a Spanish installer for that version to clean reinstall. There are reports that keys are language-specific, but other real-world tests report that same key will work for a different language within a certain region. If not you'll need to provide a Spanish key.
If you bought Builder's OEM then call MS Customer Service to tell them you installed it on the wrong machine, which is the kind of legit excuse they are repeatedly reported to accept to allow moving retail OEM. In your case they may want you to wait until you move it, or will release the key for reuse if that's possible.

Hi and welcome
what version do you have (ultimate, pro, etc)
I just bought a Notebook PC in Japan and it came with Japanese Windows XP Home Edition. I would like to install English Windows XP on the PC. I don't need the Japanese version.
I have 2 English Windows XP CDs: Home upgrade and Home OEM.
How can I install the English version on to the PC with Japanese version of Windows XP Home edition?
Is it also possible to maintain the Japanese version and operate with the English version? If yes, how can it be done? The PC has 2 HDDs: C and D.
I will very much appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.
Posted in Poland on a project, and the computer assigned to me runs Windows XP, but its in POLISH!!!
i dont understand the language, so i need Windows XP in ENGLISH.
Is it possible to CONVERT this Polish version to ENGLISH, WITHOUT REINSTALLING with an English CD of XP? Company policy does NOT allow me to do this :-(
Maybe this will help.

I don't know from what site you are downloading WMP, but you might look around there for links to localised versions and do a manual download.
As per attached file, I am using the select tool to copy the text from the pdf then paste it in word.
But the pasted text doesn't show in Arabic as per the .pdf file.
I've tried all the fonts available with no success.
Any help will be most appreciated.
It won't , unless you have the arabic fonts on your computer for word to use
That is why PDF is sused as it doesn't require the user to have the fonts on their computer
Think of a PDF as a photograph of a page and you will get the idea

I have a laptop that i bought in Chile that has a spanish version of Vista installed on it.
I just got windows 7 upgrade for it, which is in english.
Will this work, and will it upgrade the laptop into engish?
If you use the "custom" (clean) install option you'll certainly get the opportunity to choose language and region. Not sure how you handle that with the "upgrade" install; may be a good question for Microsoft support.
Hello everyone and Happy new year.
I want to replace Windows XP English home edition by Windows XP French professional edition. This would be on my old computer that only has 40 gig hard disk and 512 mb memory. It worked very well with the English version but it is for my sister who doesn't understand English.I do not want to install windows 7 as it takes to much memory to operate.
Do I have to to format my C drive and install the new windows french with the disk or can I install the new windows french in a different partition and after remove what is in the C drive?
you can dual boot xp and xp
I purchased an H.P. ll-in-One with Windows 8.1 installed. I specifically stated I wanted the op system to be in English. It isn't .
The control of the computer is in Hebrew. Some, perhaps most of the applications are in English.
I need to know if and how I might change the operating system itself to English.
I have searched the Internet for a solution, but they all were referring to the language packs. I don't need a language pack, I need the system itself to be in English.
Can this change be made?
Use this tutorial to change the display language if possible:
Display Language - Change in Windows 8
You could also talk to where you bought the computer that you did not get what you wanted.
I live in Korea and I'm about to upgrade my laptop and I am wondering if I can do a fresh install of English Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit using my new laptop's Korean licence?
I have an English Home Premium 64bit DVD here, so I can just format and reinstall in English, but will my licence work?
What do you mean by upgrade ? Are you having an issue ?http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/233169-using-windows-7-korean-license-english-version.html
I've searched the web endlessly for this and I've found some scattered info but nothing to concretely help me Any ideas at all would be appreciated Basically I would like to use voice commands for some games Trying to install programs such as GlovePie or Articulate for this purpose resulted in error message notifying that my Microsoft Speech Recognition is absent Trying to enable that I discovered that Microsoft has crippled localized Windows versions I run Windows Home Premium SP in Finnish and as a result I can't use speech recognition at all It doesn't exist in Finnish it can't be downloaded in English I thought I could outsmart the system by installing an alternative program I found a freeware which sadly it also reported it can't work without Microsoft Speech Recognition Now since e g I can use speech recognition on my Google searches I guess it is technically possible My question is Is there any program preferably freeware of course that would allow me to circumnavigate this bug feature of Windows not to offer speech recognition for localized Windows Or is there any other way to do this through the Windows system Any other idea at all would be greatly appreciated
Hi I'm not sure what you mean by localized as I have win 7 home premium with sp1 and speech recognition is available in control panelhttp://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f217/english-speech-recognition-in-localized-windows-775753.html
When running a restricted user account with fast user switching under Windows XP, some games will not start correctly. The game requests that the original disk be placed in the drive, even if it is already present. To remedy this issue, download and run this fix.
This software will not alter or patch any component on your system, it will only change the startup state of the system component needed to start your game from start on demand (on game load), to start at boot (on Windows XP start).
Supported Operating Systems: Windows XP
You must be logged in as an administrator to run this application; it only runs under Windows XP; it is not needed for Windows 2000/95/98/ME.

I'm trying to change the XP "Regional/Language" from English to Spanish. After rebooting, it stays as English. The default now say's Spanish. I've even installed the language pack for Spanish from CD.
Does this help at all?
My concern here is that I would want to switch my "French" Windows XP into an "English" one. Indeed, I am going to give my laptop to a Nepalese friend, and he cannot read French.
Thank you for your assistance!
The problem is that there is no ?switch? to change the language. You can change the keyboard layout but not the language of Windwos itself. In such cases you have to make a new and clean installation of Windows using installation disk.
I don?t know what notebook you have exactly but all drivers and tools for your Toshiba notebook you can find on Toshiba homepage.
By the way: If you install XP, I would recommend Service Pack 3. It contains important security updates.
The computer is packed with viruses and it's nearly unusable, and I think a factory reset is my only option. When I click Get started on the option in the Recovery tab of the Update and Recovery section in the PC Settings, It brings up a screen that says "Please wait" and in smaller text below that a spinning circle of dots and the word "preparing." After about 3-4 minutes on average, that text is replaced with "Insert media" in large text, and then in smaller text "Some files are missing. Your Windows installation or recovery media will provide these files." How do I get past this screen to initiate the factory reset? I have a form where two languages be entered at the same time, I have got the words and text entered in english and arabic , but when it comes to numbers and dates , it just stays as english . I tried through the control panel and change the neccassary but still the numbers stays english. If I completely in the control panel changed to arabic, all the english date and numbers are in arabic.
Is there a way that when pressing the ALT SHIFT the numerical also change to arabic ( text is fine in arabic ).
First, what program are you using?
it happens when you dont have an arabic font installed and selected as your text style. For example, if your default font is Times and you switch to arabic keyboard, it will let you type arabic but won't type the arabic numerals.
if you are typing in word, try to change over to an arabic font (not Adobe Arabic).
P.S. you will be able to type english numbers when you switch the keyboard to english and your font is an arabic font.

is RC support Arabic keyboard input guys ... or not
can i read and write arabic in it just like beta
i'm using windows 7 build 7057 now and it support arabic ... pls. tel me
You can still change the keyboard to write in Arabic. Whether or not you can read Arabic, I dunno But the OS isn't available in Arabic per this statement
*Note: If you used the Hindi or Arabic language versions of the Beta, thank you for helping us test those languages. Because the RC is not available in Hindi or Arabic, we encourage you to either install Windows 7 RC in another language or reinstall a prior version of Windows before the Beta expires on August 1, 2009.
I hope I am posting in the right place.

I would like to know if I can install and run Japanese applications on an English-based version of Windows 10. This was not possible on any version up to and including Windows 8. The best one would hope for was to change the default language of menus, etc.
For example, in Win 8, if I have installed the English version, I cannot install the Japanese version of InDesign, which has many features not available in the English version of the program. When I tried installing the English InDesign on a Japanese Windows 7, it didn't take either.
The people at Dell Japan wrote today that all I have to do in their pre-installed Japanese version of Win 10 is go to the "language and region settings", but surely this cannot be right. I have hunted through the Windows page but came up empty-handed.
Can anyone show me where to find a definitive answer to this question? Thanks (in advance.)
Have you tried to load the Japanese Language Pack (Control Panel -> Languages, Add Language), set your time/date settings to Japanese and your region to Japan? I think this last one, your region, is what makes the version install or not. If you have done all these and changed the default display language to Japanese, you should be able to install the Japanese version without any issue. To make sure you have to e-mail Adobe. Here in Greece, we can install the English version and then install the Greek Language Pack if we want Greek interface. I'm not aware though of any program requiring a specific Windows language to install. My problems usually arise from legacy (non-Unicode) programs that try to display Greek and display garbage because the language for non-Unicode programs (in Regional Settings) is set to English US rather than Greek. Once we change it to Greek and restart all legacy programs display correctly in Greek. The only advantage using a Greek Windows version is that all settings are automatically set to Greek, so a novice user has nothing to worry about. But in earlier Windows there were some compatibility bugs in the Greek version that were not in the English version. I remember some Greek programs did not display correctly in the Greek version (probably due to incorrect font settings) and displayed fine in the English version after we had changed the language for non-Unicode programs to Greek! So some of us more advanced users often avoided the Greek version and used English instead. Also all new Windows versions came first in English and the Greek version was out one or two months later, we just couldn't wait, so we used the English version. Windows 8 and 10 are the exceptions.http://www.tenforums.com/software-apps/24817-japanese-applications-english-windows-10-vice-versa.html

I have a valid installation of Windows XP Home in English with CD. I received "Uniblue Registry Booster 2010" in Spanish on a CD.
My question is if I install "Uniblue Registry Booster in Spanish on a Window XP platform that is in English, will the registry repair software be able to read the registry keys to repair/clean. Or must you have a Windows platform in Spanish for a registry repair/cleaner in Spanish. (I do not wish to have my English platform destroyed because the registry repair/cleaner is in Spanish).
I have sent 10 emails to what may be support, because I think that "Uniblue", hides behind a proxy. And they have not responded in the past two weeks.
Thanks in advance.

I am using windows vista and using windows media player 11 to watch dvds. The english audio does not work when playing dvds, even though US english is the default setting and I select US english in the dvd settings. The background music plays and with one dvd I managed to hear some dialogue. Every other language that I select (e.g french, german, english for hearing impaired) works. I have tried numerous DVDs so it is not a dvd problem, and I have tried those dvds on a laptop and it works fine. So it is not an audio problem, nor a faulty dvd. Am I missing a codec or something or is it in the wrong region (I live in Australia) I dont have any other dvd players on this computer so I can't test it out that it is just a WMP problem. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi - I just purchased a new Dell OptiPlex just a week before Windows 8 came out and have upgraded to Windows 8.
I notice on the Dell product page for Dell OptiPlex 9010 that the keyboard Dell KB212-B is not compatible with Windows 8 and that a new Dell KB212-B + Windows option is available.
What is the difference? Why is one not compatible while the other is?
Technically, the keyboard should function regardless of the operating system. The new keyboards are shipped with the new Microsoft logo for the 'Windows' key. Please share the link where you have check the compatibility of the keyboard.
Please reply if you have any questions.
I have this brand new HP laptop with a pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. The problem is the language is "Italian" and I need to change it to english. I've read some articles on the net and it seems that I have to pay for an upgrade or buy the ultimate edition to have the english language pack. Guys is there a way to change the language without "paying" a cent? let's say a workaround or something. Any suggestions are highly appreciated Thanks.

I just installed the Arabic keyboard through the Control Panel->Keyboard settings.
Arabic is written right to left unlike English. When writing on Microsoft word, the letters were written in the correct order, but the words are not being place in the correct order i.e. the next word is being placed to the right of the previous word when it should be on the left. The cursor is the correct type for right to left typing.
Any help to fix this would be appreciated.
1. Go to "Word Options"
2. Popular > Language Settings
3. Select your preferred language, click "Add" to add Arabic
4. Change your "Primary Editing Languge" to Arabic
5. Restart MS Word.
BTW, what version of Office you use?
I am trying to get the Arabic Phonetic keyboard, but I was not able to find it. Is it pre-installed in Windows 7, or do I need to install it? If so, does anyone know of any links for installation?
Found a possible site that may help, If you use the Fontboard Arabic Keyboard
Hope this helps.

Hello, I have a bit of a strange problem with my HP Pavilion notebook which I find a little irritating, Instead of surfing using my Administrator account, for security reasons I created a standard user account for run of the mill tasks, which would be fine, apart from the fact that any google listing that appears on my screen comes along with what seems to be some kind of Arabic translation, and also the listings are indented from the right hand side instead of the left, this problem does not occur with my administrator account, also when I switch between my administrator and user accounts I have to disconnect the USB mouse and re-connect it before it will work. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
OK, I've got an update on this problem: As far as the Arabic bit goes, it seems to be a Opera problem (does not occur using Firefox). As for the problem with the mouse locking up after changing users, I found a (Fix)!!! the fix goes: if it is an HP laptop/notebook this is caused by the hpqwmiex.exe service, if you disable the service from msconfig the problem disappears, this does not work, it is easier just to disconnect/reconnect the mouse when changing users, bye the way the track pad us unaffected by this problem!.http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/364453/arabic-translations-on-web-searches/

Sometimes just clearing out all your cookies and Temporary Internet Files helps clear things up. Give that a try. It certainly won't hurt.
You could also type http://www.google.com/en and put it in your favorites. Then you don't have to type it out.

Hello darknight99 and welcome to Seven Forums.
My first guess would be your computer picked up some malware. Update and run a full scan with your resident antivirus and antispyware. Then run a couple of on-demand scanners (all free) like Malwarebytes, HitmanPro, SuperAntispyware, Comodo Cleaning Essentials, etc. On-demand scanners offer another layer of security because there's no such thing as an antimalware product that's 100% effective 100% of the time. If there was such a thing we'd all be using it.
I looked up the IP address showing in your screen shot. It comes back to Pakistan Telecommunication Company LTD in Punjab. Do you have any connection with that company like are they your internet provider?

This looks to me like a setting in your BIOS. Don't know your PC, but the most frequent keys to hit at startup are Del, F1, F2 or F10.
Check around in BIOS for a Language setting and change that to English or whatever you need.
is this possible?
I have 1 english download (not installed yet since i am upgrading the hardware and want to wait), and 3 licenses dutch.
I changed my mind and want 2 x english installed, so is this possible:
to load Windows 8 english version and activate with the dutch code?
that way i can easily use Easy File transfer for all the apps already on the first computer for the seond one.
Unfortunately one cannot use Easy File Transfer between computers with different language.
I would like to purchase and install another copy of Windows dedicated entirely to French. I know that I need an additional license, and my question is about how to install it and on which drive? I already have a dual boot Windows 7 and Xubuntu. Also, I am planning to transfer the current C: drive and the new OS drive to a 250GB SSD.
My current setup is a single 500MB Seagate SATA 3
C: current boot drive: drive 80GB
D: 50GB data
E: 60GB data
F: 60GB data
W: 90GB data
Ext4 25GB Xubuntu
Ext4 42GB data

You can install it on any drive or partition you want. It should be at least 60 GB.
Personally if you have room in your box for another drive, that`s what I would put it on.
Use a Solid State Drive, they are cheap
