I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

The Touchscreen of my Flex14 Notebook is not working.I tried all hints like deinstalling the HID Interface Device Drivers.I also took out the battery.After all I went back to factory setting. - touchscreen / tabletPC still not working.I reinstalled Win 8.1 and made upgrade to Win 10 - touchscreen still dead.How can I test if touchscreen hardware is functional.Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. Best regards Siegfried

Press Windows+X.
- Select Device Manager.
- Find the Touchscreen driver under Mice and Other Pointing Devices>USB Touchscreen Controller(A111).  You're going to uninstall this and check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device".  Don't worry, it won't blow up your computer.
- Restart your computer.
- Re-open the Device Manager, and confirm that the Touchscreen is now listed under Human Interface Devices.

Installed Windows 10 on it, and it didn't fix it, reset to Windows 8, no fix, upgraded to 8.1 and still no fix, all updates and drivers installed, tried the device manager thing, yet still no touchscreen response. It doesn't even show up in device manager. Also, now the display, doesn't cover the whole screen, there are black bars all around the edges.

Hi everyone, The touchscreen of my idepad flex 14 stopped to work suddenly. I have upgraded to Windows 10 recently and  didn't have any problem but now the defect came up. I have checked the device manager and the HID compliant touch screen driver is there (Version from 2006) and seems to be ok. I have tried to upgrade the driver but Windows says that is the latest version. Is there a driver from Lenovo for the touchscreen device? The touchscreen on my ideapad flex 14 laptop is not working. I've tried uninstalling the driver in device manager and then restarting my computer. I've also checked that all drivers are up to date. I'm on wondows 10 and I think it has worked since the upgrade (though I'm not 100% sure). Any ideas?

Hi. Touchscreen just stopped last week. No idea what caused it. Have tried some of the solutions suggested such as disabling and re-enabling "HID compliant touchscreen" in device manager but no success. running windows 10.Any ideas gratefully appreciated?

Recently my touchscreen of my laptop stoped working. I reset the laptop and everything, looked for solutions online, but I cant find any solution. Sometimes it worked again out of nowhere. But i prefer that it works all the time. So if anybody has a solution? Thank you in advance!

I've had my Lenovo ideapad Flex 15 for just over a year now, so I guess this is the time at which things start going kerplooey. Today my touchscreen started going haywire, clicking rapidly and repeatedly in one random spot in the top left corner of my screen, so fast I couldn't use my touchpad to get the cursor away from the spot. After closing and reopening the computer, the problem stopped momentarily but then came back. I rebooted and when Windows restarted I received a pop up that "Windows Mouse and Keyboard Center has stopped working." The problem returned shortly after, and now my touchscreen has stopped working altogether. Can anyone help me?

Update: The problem is now intermittently returning. If I close my laptop and reopen it, it seems to disable the touchscreen for a period of time so that I'm able to actually use my computer for a bit before it starts feverishly attacking that one area of the screen. All instructions I've found online to disable the touchscreen haven't worked... I'd love to have it functioning again though. Help?

Hi, since a few weeks i had an issue with my Flex 140D Notebook - the touchscreen doesn't work. What i've done was to uninstall the 3 USB-Devices below the HID-Section and the Touchscreen itself and rebooted the System. I've had this computer for a couple months now and recently, my touchscreen has been on and off--sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't-- and I have no idea why. The touchscreen function just randomly stops working. I've tried searching for solutions, but to none avail. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

Hi, I have ideapad 100-14ibd(80RK).I ran lenovo companion app, on the memory section , it says that using 2GB out of 8GB.That means I can upgrade 8GB memory.After few weeks, the laptop bluescreen on boot up and I use onekey recovery to restore the system to initial state.Now when I check at memory section in companion app, now it says that using 2GB out of 16GB.That means I can put 16GB straight into the slot or is the app just a lie?The manual says max are 8GB memory. Hello! I'm experiencing a somewhat common-sounding problem with my touch screen.  It's not listing under Pen and Touch on the System Information page of Control Panel, but I can locate it in Device Manager under Mice and Other Pointing Devices>USB Touchscreen Controller(A111).  I can use it like a mouse but it doesn't work like a touch screen.  I'm not quite savvy enough to uninstall the drivers in Device Manager and hope for the best - I feel like I'm going to wreck something by accident.  Any advice?

Ditto. On the other thread for this problem, uninstalling did not help one person, so it looks like we'll have to wait for a fix, but I'm not super-saavy either, so maybe one already exists?

Issue just started this morning. There is small mouse cursor inside a shadowy box that remains on the screen. I can use the mouse but it will dissappear and is slow. I saw a solution for another lenovo laptop running Windows 8 but nothing for a Flex 2 running Windows 10.

Hi,I have this wierd problem and haven't found answer in any forum yet. when I press some of the buttons of my keyboard I get another keys as well.for example:press 'j' or 'h' and get 'jh' together.press 's' and get '/s'.press 'd' and my window shots down.press 'k' and the touchpad gets disabled. I have already checked if numlck key is enabled, did restart. checked the touch keyboard (which works fine).what might be the problem? 'cause I dont think its hardware problem and i havent spell any fluids on the computer ever. thanks.

I have been trying to register my new Lenovo Ideapad Flex - on the Lenovo website for nearly a wekk now nbsp I am stuck at Ideapad PLEASE 4-1470 Flex "Key" Product HELP!!! the part where it asks for you to enter the Product KEY nbsp Now I was under the notion that product KEYS were mainly only used for softwares nbsp I first PLEASE HELP!!! I got my Ideapad yesterday and I have noticed that the spacebar is squeaky nbsp It doesn't do it every single time but when it does it is pretty loud and annoying nbsp It only seems to happen on the right side of the spacebar but unfortuantely that's the side I use nbsp I'm not sure if I should try to get it fixed try and get a replacement system or just hope that it goes away as I continue to use it nbsp I type a lot and I'm going to Ideapad Fix? So I have a Flex 10 outside of warranty that has a power jack which is missing the "yellow piece" inside. Therefore, it doesn't hold the power cable well nor make a proper connection to charge. Since it is out of warranty, does anybody have a suggestion of where I should go to have it fixed/replaced?

Hello,  I have a two year old Ideapad Flex 14 which is having some battery issues. Specifically, the battery light is flashing red, and when I plug in my laptop, the status says ?plugged in, not charging.? When plugged in, it stays at roughly the same battery level, though it has been gradually losing battery despite being plugged in over the last few days (this has been going on for five days or so now).  It is at 5% battery now, and I?m not sure what to do to make it charge. I?ve tried taking out the battery and putting it back multiple times, but am not really sure what else to try ? I?m out of the country until December, so I haven?t been able to find a repair place to get it fixed yet...  Any suggestions how to fix this?? Annie

I just got an ideapad Flex 15 for work. Win 10. I was playing with settings and clicked "Make Windows more touch friendly when using your device as a tablet. When I did the screen display changed resolutions, and there is now a black border, about half inch, all the way around the display. Turning the setting back off did not reset the resolution. No resolution brings back the full display. I have checked to ensure that all drivers are updated. Can't come up with anything else to get it back to using the full screen. Any ideas?

Hi - my sons flex 10 has developed a fault. Switch on and it brings up the message stating that there's no bootable device. The disk also a makes a few clunking noises on power-on so suspect it's failed. No reovery disk or backup unfortunately. I do have a spare disk I can install but it has no software installed. Can anyone please advise how I might go about getting the system working ? Many thanks

Hi, My ideapad flex 10, originelly bundled with Windows 8.1, updated to Windows 10 refuses to work since last windows 10 update on october 30th. When I turn it on, the Lenovo logo appears, then it attempts to launch a window that closes immediatly. Then, appears in french, "attempting to restore Windows previous version". Then the screen turns completely black and the PC reboots and so on. I wanted to use those tips on Lenovo's support pages at https://support.lenovo.com/us/fr/solutions/ht501760 but it doesn't work. The poor Microsoft support didn't manage to resolve this problem. Someone to help?

Laptop is running on Windows 10. Yesterday I updated my AMD graphics driver using the update tool from AMD. After all the necessary files were downloaded and installed, I was prompted to restart and I did. Upon restart, the laptop would not boot past the Lenovo screen. The white circles that rotate always freeze and it just stays on the Lenovo screen upon every attempt to boot. I can't enter safe mode or the bios options, what can I do to fix this?  P.S. A few months ago I began having an issue with the sleep mode. When trying to enter sleep mode, the laptop would just shut down unexpectedly and almost instantly. I'm not sure what caused this issue, but I've just been avoiding it by shutting down instead of sleeping. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, or if the restart was interrupted by an unexpected shutdown.

Hi everyone. I recently purchased a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 2 14 for school and general purposes. In general I really like it, but I have noticed that the battery life is not like the 9h (or was it 6h?) that were advertised. I am getting around 2,5-3,5h of battery life, while I'm doing some light tasks like surfing the web. I've been using my new Lenovo laptop for weeks now and today it just shut off screen went black everything stopped running suddenly and the battery light was flashing amber I didn't want to panic too quickly so I just plugged in the battery and waited a while before I tried turning my laptop back on When I managed to turn it back on it asked me to wait while it was updating nbsp I quickly googled about the 4 amber battery flashing Ideapad Flex light flashing amber light and found people experiencing battery problems This laptop is still very new so I'm not sure if it would apply to me Anyway it's the first time a laptop computer has suddenly shut off to apparently do updates So I'm wondering if I should look further into this or brush it off since my laptop is now again up and running My laptop is currently still charging but before it shut off I didn't see any notifications about running out of batteries

Hi nbsp My touchscreen randomly stopped working the other week nbsp and I have no idea if it's some sort of z400 random... Ideapad PLEASE Touchscreen HELP!!! I had this problem when I first bought the computer and downloaded Windows 10.  I had a Lenovo customer support person remote access and couldn't fix it.  The computer fixed it self, I'm assuming through an update and it worked last month, but I went to use it yesterday and it shows a gray background with a slash through the camera icon.  I have checked the privacy settings and the camera is set to on. Any thoughts???

I've been using my brand new Lenovo Flex 3 1470 for a couple of months and everything was running smoothly, i was ver happy with it.I decieded to extend the antivirus coverage for a year (i had a warning of license expiracy for a couple of weeks) and after that, and all of a sudden, my TouchPad stopped working.I'm using Windows 10.PS: I live in Argentina, so no matter how hard I try, Online Support and Phone Support won't give me any possible solution other that flying back to US (where i got my computer) and have it replaced there. some of the keys on my keyboard stopped working when i upgraded to windows 10. i have restored windows 8.1, thinking that would solve is, but it hasnt. i have held the power button down to restart it, but that didnt work. i then uninstalled the driver and rebooted, which also didnt work. i cant find a way to contact lenovo directly either. i also cant find the keyboard driver on the lenovo website to install. can someone please help?

I just upgraded all of our Flex Laptops to Windows 10 and found that one of my users has a problem with her secondary monitor (connected through the HDMI port). It was working with Windows 8.1 with no problems. After the upgrade and seeing the problem I uninstalled the Intel HD Graphics Family driver with the "Device Manager" (it showed an error code 43). When it scanned for new hardware it found a new driver for the Video Card (ver 10.18.15.4279) after the iunstallation the error code (43) still existed and the monitor still had "No Signal". In researching the Lenovo site for the driver for this card it said the latest was version 10.18.15.4248. I dont know, do I go back to '4248', is there a different solution that works?

Hello; I purchased 2 Flex 3 laptops a few weeks ago.  One of them had an intermittent touchscreen problem.  It boiled down to a USB driver issue.  In the Device Manager under USB Controllers I got a yellow Triangle with an exclamation next to "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)".  If I disabled and then enabled that driver the touchscreen would start working.  I ended up returning that laptop thinking it was just a faulty unit, but today my 2nd Flex 3 did the same thing.  As far as I know all my drivers are updated an I'm running Windows 10. I don't really want to have to disable and enable drivers every other day so I'm wondering if anyone has come across this issue and if so if there is a fix. Attached is a screenshot of the Device Manager.

I have a Flex 3 1130  that works beautifully except for one problem- when I am using Photoshop or Open Office the program will suddenly disappear to the taskbar. It doesn't close, it just minimizes all by itself.I did a clean install of Windows 10 right after purchasing the laptop and there has been no issues, other than the annoyance of having to put the program back where it was. It's an older version of the Adobe CS, CS3 to be exact, if that makes any difference. Any ideas?

Hello community, Built-it microphone of my Lenovo Flex 4 touchscreen tablet/laptop is not working. It is completely new laptop.  I tried everything - Realtek drivers re-install, checked of all recording devices, etc. None of the programs that should use the microphone are able to work with it.Skype, ooVoo, etc..they all see Microphone Array, but people on the other side can't hear anything. External microphone works just fine. I tried to enable/disable this Microphone array as well - no help. Used F4 button to block/unblock - no help either. What esle I can do? Thanks,Hov

Please try the below steps:
 
control panel, sound, recording, right click and check 'show disabled devices' then click device and properties and 'enable', apply, ok and exit)
 
Also,
Check the Mixer/Audio settings whether Mic is turned on.
Depending on the used software it might happen, that it disables the microphone while ending the program (Skype, ICQ etc.)
 
Update us how it goes.

My sound on my Lenovo Flex-2 15 has not been working at all lately, despite the fact that I have downloaded both sound drivers. Hi.  When I'm working on my Flex 3 on battery only, after about 20 minutes, the screen will "turn off."  I use quotations because the sreen turns black but it is back-lit.  Sound still works.  No buttons get me out of this frozen state and I have to hard restart the computer. Anybody else have this issue?  Computer is 1 month old. Thanks!

I have exactly the same problem. Works fine when plugged in, but absolutely useless on battery, due to this random "black screen". My screen too is backlit, but the only way I have found to "wake-up" the screen is to reboot the computer. My Flex 3 came from Costco, and I am planning to return it.

I have a aspire z1-621 desktop windows 8.1 64 bit and after a windows update the touchscreen has stopped working. I have tried device manager and reinstalling the drivers. A user on another forum who had the same problem said that is was an issue with the HID devices that correspond to the touchscreen getting disabled. Here the quote: SOLUTION that WORKED for ME:Goto Windows Device Manager (WDM) @ section, "Human Interface Devices" (HID).Note, you will NOT see anything labeled, "Touchscreen" in the entire HID list.Right-Click menu for each HID should look like the following list:      "Update Driver Software..."     "Disable"     "Uninstall"     "--------------"     "Scan for hardware changes"     "--------------"     "Properties" Obviously, if the right-click menu's 2nd item = "Disable" then it's already EnabledSOLUTION is to ENABLE each HID that 2nd item = "Enable" ALL OF THIS WOULD'VE BEEN MUCH EASIER IF THE DISABLED HID WAS LABELED, "TOUCHSCREEN"but sad to say it wasn't... and that's why I had to check each HID if it was enabled or not.

i am using Lenovo Yoga 3 and after i downloaded Microsoft Office 2013 it stopped working. I tried going through the control panel and the human interface, tried enable and disable but it still didnt work. Also tried the Mouse and Touchpad setting but still nothing happened.Even if i use it as a tablet or at tent mode the touchscreen wouldnt work. I am very frustrated here. I ran Driver Booster by iobit to update the drivers on my laptop, and now, the touchscreen is not working. It always works fine on my desktop, so, I don't understand what happened. I have Windows 10, and would really appreciate any help. Thank you.
 

A:Touchscreen Not Working Please Help

I never - as in NEVER EVER use any 3rd party application to manage/update drivers. They (and notably IOBit) have a reputation for, at best, not being needed and at worse, breaking things.

In W10, you can try rolling back the driver(s). In Device Manager, double-click on the driver, select the driver tab, then Roll Back Driver and follow the prompts. If that does not work, you may need to totally uninstall the driver, reboot, then install it again.

I accidently closed my laptop with the usb for a wireless mouse left on the opposite side off the keyboard where the power button is placed. It left a very small crack on the screen. I can?t even feel the crack. But yet the touchscreen does not work. How can such a small crack on the bottom right of the laptop screen, cause the entire screens touch feature to not work? Is there anything I can do to get the touch screen to work without replacing the entire screen?

I'd suggest you use System Restore tool on the system. At the left bottom taskbar, right click windows icon, click System, and then System Protection.

I seem to have a problem with my touchscreen not working.  I'm not sure what happened.  I tend not to restart my laptop right away after updates and one day it rebooted itself in the middle of the night and I woke up to the touchscreen not working. There doesn't even seem to be a HID device in the device manager, suggesting it's not detecting it for some reason. I know sometimes these devices are children of other devices (perhaps something to do with USB?), and I have some devices that say they cannot start as well. Any help if figuring this out would be appreciated.

My Aspire 5-583p's touchscreen hasn't worked in a long while. I'd say about 6 months or so. No new programs installed nor drops/spills/accidents or anything. It stopped working before I upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10. Thought that upgrading might somehow help. But to no avail.  So far I've tried: updating drivers, disabling and enabling the drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, refreshing my pc, and taking apart the screen to make sure the the sensor is plugged in and secure. Also looked through every setting I could imagine as well as the manual. My last resort is going to be restoring to factory settings but I'm open to any suggestions beore I take the plunge. Thank you so much in advance for any advice

Hey everyone touchscreen Yoga not working... nbsp I picked up my Yoga today and I love it However about an hour ago the touchscreen went completely unresponsive nbsp The last thing I remeber doing before noticing the touchscreen becoming unresponsive was installing the Android SDK Well I ran the installer but it didn't recognize JDK nbsp So here I am with the touchscreen not functional at all Has anyone else had a similar problem Does anyone have any suggestions I Yoga touchscreen not working... tried the refresh and that didn't work I'm probably going to try the wipe clean install option in a bit I guess that would tell me for certain if it's a hardware problem or not nbsp I'm really hoping this isn't a design flaw with the hinge causing issues I really like the laptop and would rather not have to deal with hardware issues like this down the road nbsp I'll be calling support in the morning but was hoping to get this resolved tonight if anyone has had a similar problem nbsp Thanks Solved Yoga touchscreen not working... Try a Windows system restore and restore it to a point before you tried installing Android SDK.

yesterday i was just using my laptop when its touchscreen stopped working, after a few minutes i started working and then it stopped working again, i went to sleep and in the morning it started working again, and then it stopped! i have cleaned the screen and when it does not work windows straight up denies that i have a touchscreen, can somebody help and it is a hp envy i7 laptop if that helps also i have noticed that whenever i turn on the laptop the touch works but only for a minute, i recently upgraded to win 10 and have faced a lot of problems due to driver problems my brother once tapped the back of the screen and it started working but for just a minute, i am really depressed but could someone help?

I have an older HP TouchSmart All-In-One touchscreen desktop computer.
Decided to put Windows 8 on it this week because it's supposed to be cool with touch screens.

Question: Why can't I use the hot corners with my finger? Is there a way to make this touchscreen desktop to work like a Win 8 Tablet? I want to use this computer 100% mouse and keyboard free. Basically, I want it to work like a tablet. For example, it's annoying to have to grab the mouse just to open the start menu... Defeats the purpose of Win 8. I'm seriously about to go back to Win 7.

the touch gestures don't use the hot corners. the hot corners are for the mouse.

the touch gestures are all about swipes from the edge of the screen.

a small sample of gestures:
swipe from the right side of the screen to the left: show charms bar and start buttonswipe from the left side of the screen to the right: cycle through your appsswipe from the top edge downward or the bottom edge upward: show the context menu (like right-clicking with a mouse)swipe from left screen edge inward and then back out to show the full list of running apps

Capacitive touch panel on my 23" G2 705 All-in-one has stopped working. I haven't installed any new drivers or software, but it's possible Windows has done a recent update. BIOS, Drivers, and Windows all appear up to date.  Any suggestions? I don't see a driver specifically for the touch panel in the support center.  TIA!

I not TouchScreen after reformat working have a P GHz RAM Gig HDD with USB and Card reader and CDRW-DVD The mother board is intel G chipset The machine is connected to a photoprinter and TouchScreen not working after reformat used as an input device for printing photographs from USb sticks and other cards TouchScreen not working after reformat such as SD from mobile phones and digital cameras The machine runs on windows Pro SP and has Photo Teller software for its image manipulation That is all it runs and it is not on the internet The machine has ELO Touchscreen built in which is used as the input device It can emulate either a serial mouse or a USB mouse Currently it is setup to use serial emulation on COM Until last week everything was fine however upon reboot a problem occurred when the OS would not load I ran a windows Pro repair on it which solved the problem but that only lasted a day and the problem returned No further amount of repair could solve the problem I reformatted and reinstalled the entire suite but TouchScreen not working after reformat now the touchscreen is not working The drivers install and everything is OK There is no problem in Device Manager but when I run the touchscreen utility it informs me Touch Screen Type Not Available I can see the utility running in the Task Bar and Device Manager shows it as installed as a Serial mouse I have run all kinds of diagnostics etc but cannot get it to function It is imperative to have the touchscreen working I would appreciate all and any help to sort this out nbsp

Everything else is working fine, but the touchscreen has stopped working altogether. I tried a few basic things like goig into Device Manager but they said all was working correctly.

Hi everyone. I am upgrading my uncle's computer for him and I have upgraded the software from Windows 7 to Windows 8 successfully and everything is working fine including audio and networking and everything else. This is an all-in-one computer with a touch screen and when it had Windows 7, I could use the touch screen but now that I did a fresh install of Windows 8, the touch screen will not work. Hi there nbsp nbsp I've had my Lenovo Yoga ThinkPad for less than two weeks and I'm having some issues For some reason when I use the pen I sometimes can not use stops after pen working using Touchscreen the touchscreen with my fingers or another non-active stylus afterwards Both the pen and Touchscreen stops working after using pen the touchpad still work but not the actual screen itself It doesn't last forever but I haven't found anything that fixes the problem immediately - even putting it to sleep doesn't work sometimes I've tried taking the computer in and out of tablet mode replacing the pen in the charging port etc I have also run the latest updates on my computer and have had the issue both before and after It just decides to stop working and then I have to wait until it decides to start working again Frustrating when you're trying to take notes during a big phone call for work nbsp I only have two or three days left to return the computer if this is a major issue so I have two questions really Does it seem like a software problem or a hardware problem I E Is there a driver or something I can download to update a fix or something Or do I need to get the laptop itself looked at And Is this a Touchscreen stops working after using pen common problem I've seen other posts about similar issues but they seem to be a constant issue not an intermittent one like mine nbsp nbsp Any help or advice would be appreciated I don't want Touchscreen stops working after using pen to get stuck with a half-functioning laptop because I didn't return it in time but I also still like the computer itself nbsp nbsp Thanks in advance

I have a TouchSmart HP and the touch screen has the blinking circles as though someone is touching it. The circles keep blinking randomly around the screen. The touch screen seems to not be working to the touch either, but it is hard to tell if it is because it thinks someone is touching the screen already or not. I already tried calibrating it. Really need help with this problem. It's a hp pavilion 27N011Ai do not want to disable the touch screen, I want to fix the problem. Can anyone help?

Hello,I have a Dell inspiron 7737 with a touchscreen and the laptop came with a windows 8 pre-installed which i updated to windows 10 already. I am dual booting it with windows 7 because i like that operating system but the only problem is have i when ever i boot up my windows 7, touchscreen stops working and i thing it's a driver issue. You're right, it's a driver problem.The reason the touchscreen doesn't work is because Windows 7 is not supported on the Dell Inspiron 7737, Dell have not released any Windows 7 drivers for that model.You should have checked what drivers were available from Dell's support website before installing Windows 7.Only these Windows versions are supported:Windows 10 64-bitWindows 8.1 64-bitWindows 8 64-bithttp://www.dell.com/support/home/us...Use a mouse if you want to keep using Windows 7. Touchscreen on Windows 7 is clunky anyway because it wasn't really designed for touchscreens, whereas Windows 8 & 10 were.It's no big deal, just use a regular mouse. I wouldn't use touchscreen anyway. Who want's to get smudges & fingerprints all over the screen when it's possible to use a mouse instead?message edited by phil22

i am using Lenovo Yoga 3 and after i downloaded Microsoft Office 2013 it stopped working. I tried going through the control panel and the human interface, tried enable and disable but it still didnt work. Also tried the Mouse and Touchpad setting but still nothing happened.Even if i use it as a tablet or at tent mode the touchscreen wouldnt work. I am very frustrated here. If anyone could help me with this issue i would highly appreciate it. Thanks

Hi,  I can't get the touchscreen working on my new E93z ThinkCentre All-in-one? I followed a link on another thread that said to check the drivers are up to date but I can't get that working either as the piece of software it asks me to install to create something called a "bridge" says there are files missing on my machine so it won't install?? My warranty is also apparently expired in 2015 despite me only receiving the machine yesterday but when I try to fill in the form it wants and invoice or purchase order for my machine but I bought it off Amazon so I don't have these?! Help!!

Hi All,I love my new Lenovo Yoga 14 ThinkPad. I got it just three weeks ago for medical school and it's been absolutely amazing for notes and research. However, whenever I charge the computer and attempt to use the touchscreen after using the pen on the screen, the touchscreen takes minutes to work again. This only happens when the computer is plugged into an outlet. It happens in both tablet mode and regular.  Has anybody faced this problem? I have an update to Windows 10 that's due to install but I'm suspicious that that won't fix the problem. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!

The touchscreen on my HP Pavilion -b sa laptop stopped working Touchscreen stopped working yesterday morning It was intermittently failing to register touch for a while but now it doesn't respond at all nbsp It did this before a couple of years ago but luckily I was able to fix it earlier this year thanks to a SoftPaq called SP Now it has stopped working once again and SP doesn't help when I run it nbsp I tried all of the troubleshooting advice on this page the official HP help page short of fully reseting restoring the system but none of those solutions worked either To be clear I tried checking everything Touchscreen stopped working in device manager hard reseting reinstalling the touchscreen driver installing all available updates checking I had the latest BIOS and drivers Couldn't do a component test that option wasn't on my F start-up check anymore strangely And as I said I tried SP again but all it does after going through the set-up screens is flash up for a moment then disappear without doing anything I'm suspecting because I used it once before it's out of date nbsp Any help It's not the end of the world not to have a touchscreen but it is useful sometimes If it's at all relevant the battery on the laptop is a bit old and is getting the message it needs replacing I doubt that would be affecting it though
