Windows Explorer Stopped Working, Internet Explorer Stopped Working, what DOES work?

Q: Windows Explorer Stopped Working, Internet Explorer Stopped Working, what DOES work?

Hey, Fellas, I'm back.
Lately when I've tried looking at different folders and files on my hard drives I keep getting "Windows Explorer has stopped working and will restart." It's driving me nuts, I can barely do anything.
Also, same thing with Internet Explorer...I'm getting real sick of Vista's shoddiness..

Preferred Solution: Windows Explorer Stopped Working, Internet Explorer Stopped Working, what DOES work?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/directdownload.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

The reason I ask about this is that maybe some setting could be changed to make Internet Explorer work properly and not stop working A family member with Windows and Internet Explorer suddenly is unable to open IE either through the shortcut or directly on the iexplore exe file but on the other hand no trouble occurs if IE is right-clicked and Run As Administrator So IE on the machine DOES work but only if Run As Administrator I tried to help by looking in the Internet Explorer Properties Windows in 10 working Explorer 7 stopped Internet - Security Internet Explorer 10 in Windows 7 stopped working tab on another machine to compare but everything except an extra user type S- - - - on Win not shown on Win Vista appears to be the same The windows Vista machine used for comparison has IE The Windows machine on which IE stopped working happens is bit windows and there is installation of IE in both the Program Files path AND the Program Files x path The exact error message when IE stops is Internet Explorer has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available Hopefully someone knows about some setting or option that could be changed or checked so that the user or anyone else not need to Run As Administrator but may just double click the desktop icon as normal to run IE

A:Internet Explorer 10 in Windows 7 stopped working

Go to Programs and Features > Left side, click View Installed Updates > scroll down to find Windows Internet Explorer 10 >
Right click at it > click Uninstall.
System will revert back to IE 9 automatically after IE 10 is uninstalled. Now Reboot the computer -

You don't need to re-install IE9, as it will be there.

Working on my mother's computer as a favor. When launching Internet Explorer (version 11), it immediately crashes, giving "Internet Explorer has stopped working", without any cause or error notices. I have made sure that there are no addons running, and reset the program/security settings.

I found that I can launch IE by running it as administrator, so I have limited ability to browse; naturally I don't want to run it as an admin all the time.

I ran an sfc /scannow and its log indicated that it could not restore C:\windows\SysWOW64\iesysprep.dll and that the archived version was also corrupt. I am not certain whether this is the cause of the crashes, or a completely unrelated issue, but I see that you folks were able to help out someone with a problem similar to this part recently.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide!

Attached is the minitoolbox scan and the speccy link. By the way, I have already deleted all of the bluestacks files as instructed by the bluestacks web site.http://speccy.piriform.com/results/VYS612jtFxbIyZVcqiCVKTE

There should be an option in the start menu to run Internet Explorer with Add-Ons disabled. Have you tried this? I would aslo recommend switching browsers if possible, try Firefox or Chrome.

Hello,
I have an HP running Windows Vista. Initially things were working just fine, but recently I have lost the ability to connect to the internet. I try to launch IE, but get the same error message. I've tried the reset button in Control Panel>Advanced Settings but it did not solve the problem.
I am not running OmniPage either, another problem I read about on other blogs.
Does anyone have some suggestions for things I might try to get IE to work again?
Thank you,
Bizziemom

Keep getting this error message (attached) and now and then when I go to open a new window, only an upper piece of a window manages to open, like a slit or corner of the upper bar.

To fix, went to:

control panel > network & internet > internet options > advanced... tick "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering" 1st selection
But now I still get the partial windows on opening them. What's the cause here?

Hey,
we are currently facing a problem with our SharePoint Site crashing the Internet Explorer 10. We have no idea which custom code triggers this crash and why.

We have no Problem with IE9, IE11, Chrome or FireFox.If we change the tab while loading the page in the IE10 and switch back, everything works fine.It crashes on all Windows 7 Systems tested so far. Seems to be no Policy problem. All Addons disabled, same problemCleared cached Data, same problem
Any idea how to debug this issue?

Hi all

I have a fairly new desktop PC I used my original windows 7 home edition as my operating system and updated to Internet Explorer 11.

Just lately I have been experiencing 'Internet Explorer has stopped working problems'. I went onto the Microsoft help site and followed a procedure which involved turning off all my start up programs with the exception of the Microsoft ones. When I tried to restart at the end of the procedure my PC froze.

It seems I have a problem more deep seated than the Explorer problem and could really do with some help.

Hoping for a reply soon.

Best Regards Ken.

A:Internet Explorer has stopped working

Try resetting Internet Explorer settings, Open Control Panel > Internet
Options > Advanced (tab) > under " Reset Internet Explorer settings, click
"Reset".

Also if you have addons disable all then re-enable one by one to find out if it's an addon thats the problem.

Make sure your java is fully up to date as well, and turn off your java automatic updates !

Hope this helps !

To the best of my knowledge, IE just stopped working with Vista. What is the best way to troubleshoot this. It does seem like Microsoft could pop up more meaningful error messages. Is there a way to just reload IE in Vista?

Hi Taylor, and welcome to Vista Forums.

This is usually caused by a bad add-on. This tutorial will show you how to test and fix this if it is the case. I would still reset IE7 though to rule out any other bad setting issues.

Hi,
I turned my PC on the other day after using it the day before without issue. I attempted to open internet explorer and the error message popped up saying it had stopped working. I clicked try to find a solution online and after awhile it closed the browser. I haven't been able to open it since.
I have turned off gpu hardware acceleration.
I have reset the browser.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it via windows updates.
It's driving me crazy because I cannot access the Internet in my PC at all!
I ended up getting a friend to download the Firefox browser assuming that would be a workaround but I've just launched that browser to the same message. Firefox has stopped working.
I have run malwarebytes and several other antivirus programs and not one thing has appeared in the results.
Can anybody help me??? I had to do this on my phone.
I'm running windows 7.
Thanks

One quick thing you could try, open control panel and go to internet options. Click advanced advanced tab, then click "Restore advanced settings" and click the "Reset" button. The Reset will disable all addons, usually what I've found to cause IE to crash out of the blue.

If am on an e-mail writing pane, I have lost the unsent e-mail.

A:Internet Explorer has stopped working?

Hello Bill,

You may have a bad IE8 add-on or setting causing this. See if resetting IE8 may help. Afterwards, you can enable your IE8 add-ons one at a time testing inbetween to help see which one may be responsible if it crashes right after enabling it.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Try reinstalling IE8. You could wait forever for MS to "fix" the problem.

I'm trying to start IE 8 and the error message Internet Explorer has stopped working appears followed by
A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Also, Firefox will not start. The message is Firefox can not find the server at xxxx no matter what address it tries to find.
I do not know if this is affecting the issues but, in Windows Defender, under "My Web Search Bar for Internet Explorer and Fire Fox" it is classified as "Not yet classifed"

Should I remove the My Web Search Bar in Safe Mode. It looks like there's many other unfriendlies on here also.
Thank you

Hi muzzlesLet's take a look with malwarebytes. The process of cleaning your computer may require temporarily disabliling some security programs. If you are using SpyBot Search and Destroy, please refer to Note 2 at the bottom of this page. Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop.alternate download link 1alternate download link 2Make sure you are connected to the Internet.Double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application. When the installation begins, follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings. When installation has finished, make sure you leave both of these checked:Update Malwarebytes' Anti-MalwareLaunch Malwarebytes' Anti-MalwareThen click Finish.MBAM will automatically start and you will be asked to update the program before performing a scan.If an update is found, the program will automatically update itself.Press the OK button to close that box and continue. If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here and just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install. On the Scanner tab:Make sure the "Perform Quick Scan" option is selected. Then click on the Scan button. If asked to select the drives to scan, leave all the drives selected and click on the Start Scan button. The scan will begin and "Scan in progress" will show at the top. It may take some time to complete so please be patient. When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.Back at the main Scanner screen:Click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad. The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.Note:-- If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you may be asked to reboot your computer so it can proceed with the disinfection process. Regardless if prompted to restart the computer or not, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot normally (not into safe mode) will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware. Note 2:-- MBAM may make changes to your registry as part of its disinfection routine. If you're using other security programs that detect registry changes (like Spybot's Teatimer), they may interfere with the fix or alert you after scanning with MBAM. If both are affected IE and firefox then it could be a malware/spyware infection or maybe a virus, have you tried running scan antispyware or antivirus?

You can also try going on safemode and see if you will get the same thing.

i even troubleshooted it's performance.... but no luck

EDIT: before upgrading i ran the upgrade assistant, and it said inte(r) network connections isn't compatible with the OS... so i completely removed it...then installed win8

A:internet explorer has stopped working

Did you keep your antivirus or other security suite package from before the upgrade?

You might think about uninstalling it if you did, to see if it has a positive effect.

It's the most likely cause, assuming the machine connects to the net well otherwise, with other programs.

Other than that, make sure there is no proxy being set in I.E.'s properties.

If you have Java installed on the machine, update it to latest.

I constantly get the window saying Windows Explorer has stopped working. The computer freezes for a very long time and then sometimes it resumes. Most of the time I have to turn it off and on with the reset button. Is there a fix that does not require a computer geek. I'm running Vista home. I have been searching for hours and trying different suggestions that do not work.

A:Internet Explorer has stopped working

Hi -

There is no magic fix, but maybe some relief can be found. Run the following, please:

Vista System Health report in HTML format
START | type perfmon /report | save in default HTML format

msinfo32 -
START | msinfo32 | save in default NFO format

Zip these 2 up and attach to your next post.

A:Internet explorer has stopped working

First, be sure to back up anything on this computer that you want to keep (videos, music, pictures, documents, etc.).

Next, you're going to need to do one of three things:

1) Get professional help. To do this, either follow these instructions and post a new thread in the virus/trojan/spyware help forum (be patient as the analysts are very busy) or take your computer to a local computer technician,

2) reinstall your OS (be sure you have your driver disk (or, if you don't, that you download the appropriate drivers for your hardware) and clean the hard drive completely with a program like dban before you do a fresh install of your OS), or

3) try to fight the infection on your own via online scanners and/or by downloading and using free virus scanners (don't have more than one antivirus program running at any one time; also note that this option is not recommended and that, if you want to fight the infection, you really should have a professional do it in order to insure that your computer is completely clean).

Also, once you get your computer cleaned, I suggest getting an antivirus program with on-access scanning capabilities and a firewall.

Internet Explorer stopped working a few weeks ago on my home computer. I can't give a ton of details because I don't use it, my wife does (I use Chrome). When you try to open it, you get a spinning circle in the center of the screen for about 5 seconds, then that goes away. That's it. I've used CCleaner to clean all cache, temp files, etc for IE. I've run virus scans, anti Malware scans, etc. All come back clean.

I'm running Win 7 64 bit.

Any ideas ?

Hello Micallen,

Have you installed the latest windows updates? If not, follow this link: http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/thanks.aspx?ln=en&&thankspage=5

You could also clean your browsers cache and cookies and see if that solves the issue: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/internet-explorer/ie-crashes-stops-working#ie=ie-11

This morning my Windows 7 Home Premium downloaded and installed 6 new updates. When it started up again I kept getting a message saying "Internet Explorer has stopped working, windows is searching for a solution" then it would restart explorer and this would go on non-stop. I booted into safe-mode and restored to a restore point from 3 days ago. This solved the problem. Have you heard of other problems with this latest Windows 7 update? I'm afraid to let it re-install again.

I do not use IE, but my wife does...so I don't know how this happened, but now - whenever we try to open IE - nothing loads and it just says "Internet Explorer has Stopped Working" etc etc - a problem occurred and needs to close.

I also get the same issue when I try to run AVG antivirus, so that stinks too.

I had IE8, reverted to 7 (problem still existed) reinstalled 8 (and again) and now am back on 7. Running windows Vista. Tried installing a couple programs to fix it, but it is hit or miss with the programs as to what will cause the error again and shut down whatever I am trying to install/run. I installed registry mechanic and ran that and got no help.

Have no clue what to do now. Any help?

A:Internet Explorer has Stopped Working

I would first suggest you upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 again.
If you find that your IE8 continues to stop working frequently in Windows, here are some trouble-shooting steps you may try:
1. Run your anti-virus and an anti-spyware, to check for malware infections. Microsoft Security Essentials is a good freeware AV from Microsoft.
2. Clear Cache. Or else run your Junk Cleaner or CCleaner. In IE 7 or 8, click Tools > Internet options > Security > Reset all Zones to Default level
3. If still you find your IE giving problems, close it and run IE (No Add-ons). This opens up the browser without loading any add-ons, toolbars or plug-ins.
4. Run sfc /sc?annow and at the end reboot if asked for. This will replace corrupted system files if any.
If you find it running OK, then the problem is most probably caused by an addon. In that case you have two options :
- Use the manage Add-ons tool, and disable each one after the other to find out which one is causing the problem.
- In Internet Options, go to Advanced Tab and click on Reset tab. Restart IE. This step deletes all temp files, disables any add-ons, plug-ins, toolbars and also resets all changed settings to default. Although this is a quick-fix, you will have to re-install the add-ons.

I hope this helps!

Cheers,
Bryn

I suggest that you reinstall Firefox and make sure that it is up to date. As for Internet Explorer - reinstall that as well.
If that doesn't work for IE or Firefox, try getting your hands on 'Tune-Up Utilities 2009': Run the 1-Click Maintenance - it should fix a bunch of problems within your operating system (me personally, I install Tune-Up Utilities literally after installing Windows and any Security Software).

My husband purchased a new lap top a couple weeks ago and is already getting errors with Vista. I have to use my old reliable to look up the problem solution. I have seen that this is a common error but I haven't found a really good solution. The error is a windows error that states

internet explorer has stopped working
A problem caused by the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available..

This happens as soon as the program is opened.

How irritating. How could you check for notification if you can't use the internet?

My husband states that he can get around the error by right clicking on IE and open it as an administer. Anyway to fix this?

Thank you!

This is the desktop version of IE. No extra Add Ons except Norton items and Flash.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I am trying to help my parents via telephone. They are not real good with the computer and really bad when there is a problem so please bare with me through this.

My mom called tonight to say that their HP computer is having problems that started yesterday. When she clicks on IE8 she gets a message that says "Internet Explorer has stopped working". She then gets an option to have it look for a solution online and when she picks that it all goes away. She can access her email and get updates in other programs.

I do not live close to them so driving over there is not an option. I can download items and mail USB drives to them or CD's if needed.

Thank you.

Hi, i am hoping someone can offer me some advice.

I have a new laptop with windows 7 installed and Internet Explorer 9 being used.

I have checked various options thats other have posted but they do not appear to be resolving the problem.

Typical example f the problem....

I get an email with a link, click and the link opens within browser. If the link then has a document witin it to open (I think they are PDF'S) the browser comes up with the following message:

A problem caused prog to stop working - it then asks you to close the page.

I have tried resetting default settings i have tried No add ons and the problem still persists.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks

When I'm on a web page a form pops up saying "Internet Explorer has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Then I click the close program. When I did that the tab that tells you the web page you are on would disappear for second or two and reappear. the computer would tell me with a arrow pointing at the tab, that it has been recovered. So this has started to do this a little more then at first. Could I just get a different version of E Internet Explorer install it , and uninstall the one I have. Would that fix the problem. Mary

Hi,
We just got a new computer with explorer 8 and after several weeks we get the message, "Internet Explorer is not working". Then, it closes window and tries to restart at prior webpage. The only thing different we did, that we can remember, is load DivX and also, we did get some shopper toolbar on the right which I uninstalled. Tried to disable plugins but not having any effect. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Good morning,

I have a Mac Book Pro that's been partitioned - the other side is Windows Vista Business. My job requires me to use Internet Explorer extensively and unfortunately it has stopped working. It will look like it's working (the hourglass) for a few seconds, then stops. I have tried launching it from the desktop, from the start menu to no avail.

I have tried running Problems and Reports - I see what the conflictions are - but Problems and Reports stops working. I end up with a program not responding each time. But the problems that show up are: Internet Explorer icon - recommended updated; Internet Explorer icon - problem caused by Windows; Problem caused by Apple Destop Null Driver; Windows Compatability Problem.

I also tried - start, accessories, system tools, i e (no add ons) - still won't start.

I would very much appreciate your assistance in solving this.

Thanks,

Liz

Is the problem just with Internet Explorer, or does another browser have issues as well? Can you update that version of Internet Explorer? Or, if it has been updated, can you remove the update and return to the last version for a test?

If you check the Task Manager > Processes tab when this issue is occurring, is anything mis-behaving with regard to excess processor usage?

Have you tried a System Restore?

Also the business edition has a full drive backup and restore ability -- have you ever used that?

You can also try a "clean boot" of the Windows OS >>

Run msconfig and select the "Services" tab. Check "Hide Microsoft Services" and then disable the rest. Also uncheck "load startup items" on the general page.
Now restart and test the issue at hand

If no problems, run msconfig and recheck half the disabled items on the Services tab. Test again. If the problem recurs, UNcheck half the items you just checked to narrow down the culprit.

If the problem didn't occur, check the other half, so all the Services are enabled -- proceed to do this on the startup tab as well.

Get the idea? You want to isolate the problem to a specific startup if possible.

Note: if you already have items unchecked under msconfig > startups and are in “selective” startup mode – you should note what these are before beginning. They will need to be de-selected again.

I've been getting this error message whenever I try to delete a website or folder from my Favorites.
I can click close program and my homepage comes back up. Check online for a solution does nothing. I looked at the details and realized I was running IE 7.0.6001.1800 so I downloaded IE 8, but the problem persists. Right now the only way I can make it happen is by trying to delete something in my Favorites folder, but it has just come up randomly a few times. I googled "Internet Explorer has stopped working" and got lots of pages where other users are having the same problem, suggesting various fixes, but none has worked for me so far. Hope I didn't make a mistake by downloading IE8!! Please help.

Recently discovered IE7 does not work. I am running Vista Ultimate w/ norton internet 2008. Message: Internet Explorer has stopped working " a problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" That's it. I tried restoring to previous dates, and the scheduled restores fail. I have tried w/out antivirus, no go.Anyone seen or know how to solve this problem. I don't know if there is a way to fix IE7 itself in Vista?I did go through some machinations a few weeks ago to install Norton 2008, but that was just to eventually reload the C++ distributables. I think it was working after that.

I have a similar problem with EI 11 on my PC with W8.1, which is fully updated. It happens whenever I try to "Save as" a download or to print a web page.
So far I have reset it, opened it as administrator and turned off smart screen filter - to no effect.
Should I try to disable EI from the Uninstall Programs - Turn Windows on or off?

During the past few weeks I've been getting the pop up message "Internet Explorer has stopped working." Followed by "A problem has caused Internet Explorer to stop working. Windows will notify you if a solution is found." Immediately after this about 50% of the time the page I was on was able to recover. The other half of the time I'm directed back to the Google Homepage. I am using IE8 and never had a problem until this started. Would anyone have any suggestions for trouble shooting or a way to remedy this annoying problem?

Try clearing your cache files and run Malwarebytes and your resident antivirus. See if you can update to IE9 and check the difference.

The first thing that I would do is try reinstalling IE8. You can download it here:

I was running Vista and when I saw the email that Windows 7 Beta was available. I jumped on the upgrade because Vista is so awful. Windows 7 also installed ie8. When I try to go to a URL I get a small window error message saying, ?Internet Explorer has stopped working?. This happens on most URLs. Strange that Google and a few other sites work fine. I also get the same error when I try to run Yahoo IM and the Weather Channel Desktop. Anyone else have this problem and/or have a solution?

Also, I did not have this problem with Vista and ie7.

A:ie8 Problem-Internet Explorer has stopped working

epapps-
Hi, my name?s Cody, and I?m working with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team to help answer questions that users might have about their copies of Internet Explorer.
Just yesterday, Microsoft published and update that will improve the web browsing experience for users running the Windows 7 Beta. This update addresses many of the top crashes and hangs from the Windows 7 Beta, which includes those caused by Internet Explorer as from other third party components. I?d recommend checking it out! You can either find it here: http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/ or by accessing Windows Update on your Start Menu.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,

Any thoughts or ideas on how to solve this?

A:Internet Explorer has stopped working - IE Version 11.x

FYI, I ran Microsoft Fix It

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...nce_and_safety

Issues Found - Data Execution Prevention Disabled

Fix Status - Fixed

However, I re-ran Fix It and the same issue appears, also as being fixed.

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

This is what I keep getting popping up...but Internet Explorer carries on working so I dont understand why it keeps popping up all the time...I dont seem to have any virus or malware as I done checks so dont understand what its doing it for.

I have tried to reset Internet Explorer which seemed to work for a very limited time but starts up again for no reason I can see..

Anyone throw any light on this situation?

1.The message you receive is usually caused by an add-on to IE.
Troubleshooting IE without Add-ons
Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools, and click Internet Explorer no Add-ons.
Then re-enable add-ons 1 at a time until you locate the add-on causing your problem.

2.There have been reports of the Google toolbar causing this problem so if you have the Google toolbar I would suggest uninstalling it.

3.Try using System File Checker to scan your OS for missing/corrupt files.
Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
In the results area, right-click cmd.exe, and then click Run as administrator.
Click Yes / Continue if you are the administrator or type the administrator password.
At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow, and then press ENTER.

The scan may take some time, so be patient.
Windows will repair any corrupted or missing files that it finds.
If information from the installation CD is needed to repair the problem, you may be prompted to insert your Windows 7 CD.

Good luck.

Hello!
Some of our users experience Internet Explorer (11 / Windows 7 Corporate) to crash ("Internet Explorer stopped working").
I've checked the event viewer logs and different DLLs / add-ons caused IE to stop working, e.g.:
- Adobe PDF
- Dragon Naturallyspeaking
I don't think that several third party add-ons are faulty at the same time, my feeling tells me that there must be another cause that is connect to Internet Explorer / windows.
Can you give me a hint what to check next?
Thank you!
Best regards
Angelo

Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit
Internet Explore version 11.0.9600.17416

I have been having this problem error for a month or so. I have Microsoft Updates set to automatically download and install nay updates.

After I have used the back arrow more than 3 times I get this arrow.

"Internet Explorer has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

I have run a full scan with my security software and full scan with Microsoft Malicious scanner plus a full scan with the latest Malwarebytes Anti-Malware all do not find any problems.

Your suggestions to what the problem is are welcome.

Walter

Is this 3 consecutive times and the page will not go back, or 3 times during the time on the computer ?
I would first reset IE. (Internet Options/Advanced/Reset) You will not lose any data by selecting the first option.
Check the Event Viewer to see if a specific error code is identified. If so, research corrective action for that code.

(Control Panel/SystemandSecurity/Admin Tools/View Event Logs)
