Preferred Solution: Application Runtime Error in IE8

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/directdownload.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hello, I hope someone can help.

I have been using Cucusoft YouTube Mate for a long time and suddenly today I get this message:

runtime error "this application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way"

I'm not very computer smart and I don't understand why this has suddenly happened and what I can do to fix it.

I would appreciate any help.

A:Runtime error this application has requested the Runtime to terminate

Welcome to Seven Forums MissTottenham. Can you post the complete, exact error code? The generic "this application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way" is unfortunately very common. If you can post a screenshot of the error, even better.

Hi all

I have a program that needs JRE to run. I've installed the last version of JRE both 32 & 64bit (1.8.0_102) on my Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64bit but when I try to run the program, would get the following:
"This application requires a Java Runtime Enviroment 1.8.0_60 or higher 1.8.0_60"

Any help would be much appreciated.

A:This application requires a Java Runtime Enviroment error

I would check the environment variables to ensure that the PATH variable does not contain a pointer to an earlier version of the JRE. Make sure the PATH only has the folder for the currently installed version listed.

Whats this due to and how to solve this ?

thanks

A:explorer.exe application error and Runtime error

this can be a bit tricky, i do not know the cause because it can be a lot that caused this.

however if you got the windows CD.
you can try running sfc /scannow (if you can get into any command console)
it refreshes most dlls.

if you can not get into any windows app you can use recovery console (from CD first screen you press R)
and run chkdsk /p

if that fails you can use windows repair using second screen and press R
(from cd)

i hope this helps.

I'm using XP SP3 on the latest version of virtualbox and extensions on my Win 7 system. I use a 16 bit program that worked perfectly and then suddenly I'm getting a Runtime error '6' Overflow error.I've tried reinstalling the program and VB and a variety of changes to how the program launches, but nothing.I've searched everywhere and the only information I've found relates to Visual Basic. I didn't do anything with code. .its a free standing program. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And of course I need the program to work today. Thanks in advance,Mark

Windows 8.1 64 bits, 3 users in PC

Hi,
I have download Spybot search & destroy v 2.2.25 (free version) but my windows compatibility application says it is not compatible, "runtime error 217 at line 304BED64"

I tried the compatibility again with settings for windows, 8, but same error.

Note: I only ran the compatibility tool, not the application itself.

Any solution or I just have to delete the application to avoid possible problems?

Thanks

A:compatibility application "runtime error 217 at line 304BE

Depending on where you downloaded it from, it may not have really been what you were trying to download. Scan the installer file with an AV program, and upload it to Virustotal.com if it says it is clean. Never download from the links at the very top of a Search Result, and never download any installer except from the Website for the maker of the software.

I'd do another search for that software, and download it again, from Spybot's own site.

What do I need in order to fix this problem? This pop-up message appears when I patched my game

A:Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error" error message

According to the error message the application (the patch you installed) isn't working right and for you to contact the folks who made the patch. I'm guessing that would be the support team for Audition Dance Battle or perhaps the support folks for all of e-games.com.ph

::E-Games - Audition Dance Battle::

E-Games Portal

Let them know exactly what the error message says, the specific ID number for the patch you installed, specific info about your computer (make, model, version of Windows you're using, amount of RAM, CPU, etc) so they can figure out what's wrong. In the meantime, you could try uninstalling the patch while waiting for a response. Sorry I can't be more help.

Hello dottie5917

I apologise about the wait

Ok now i have seen this issue a couple of times,

1. Update your drivers
2. Uninstall Eset Smart Security Suite
3. Reboot and then download and run Auto Runs

4. Select the Boot Execute tab and check that there is no phantom start-up process
5. If there is a phantom program or something that relates to the error message then end the process.
6. reboot and if the error is gone reinstall Eset Smart Security Suite

regards

"Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

This happens when I try to run internet explorer. Firefox works fine. This error started after I installed limewire. Bad, Bad boy. It's now unistalled forever. I believe everything is now cleaned up I use Norton AV & PCTools spyware doctor, however I can't get around this error message. This is an error in Internet Explorer. Have you installed any plugins or anything new tith Inetrnet Explorer? Itr seems it may be currupt somehow. You should try searching on your XP cd to find Iexplorer.exe and replacing the defective Iexplorer. It's located in C:\WINDOWS\Program Files\Internet Explorer. This should fix it.

I was running media player classic and I noticed it has this scratchy noise and the picture has some glitch or something, a minute later the mpc stopped and the runtime error message popped up. I tried playing it on windows media player but it still has that scratchy audio and glitchy picture, I closed the player before the program would stop. I need help on this.

I have Windows XP SP3 on my notebook.
Two similar threads have been solved before. However, my case is much more weird because the message appears right after I start my computer and also before a user logs in.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program C:\...
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application support team for more information.

The problem is that there is no specific application target.

I reinstalled the Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries, but still to no avail.
The message appears now and then, evev after I close the first appearance. I couldn't discern any pattern.

A:Need fix for Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error

Hi,

Mostly, this kinds of error can be caused by two factors:

1.Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries are missing.
2.Software problem.

If the issue is caused by #1, you can reinstall the Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries to resolve the problem.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF&displaylang=en

If the issue still persists after installing above package, the issue should be a software problem. I suggest you take a clean boot check whether it is a software conflict issue. If not, it is still recommended to address the problem with manufacturer support. Thank you for your understanding.

For your convenience:

Clean Boot
=============================
1. Click Start, type "MSCONFIG" (without the quotations) in the Search Bar and Press "Enter" to start the System Configuration Utility.
2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (if it is not gray).
3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK".
4. Restart the computer and test the issue.

Note: Clean Boot is a troubleshooting step. If some programs have been disabled, we can re-enable them later. If you see the System Configuration Utility, check the box of "Don't show this message" and then click "OK".

Please monitor the system in the Clean Boot environment. If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to one application or service we have disabled. You may use the MSCONFIG tool again to re-enable the disabled item one by one to find out the culprit.

Hope it helps.

A full spyware/virus check is in order. Might want to try repairing IE too.

Also, this is a perfect opportunity to get yourself a real browser. Download Opera of Firefox on a CD or a flash disk and install on your computer to get a functional browser.

While downloading a new update from Webroot Spyware I received the above runtime error. I am a subscriber to Webroot, but since it's Saturday I can't contact them until Monday, therefore my virus protection is jeapordized.
My system is a Windows XP & I'm using Internet Explorer 7 & also Windows 7.
I've uninstalled & tried to re-install Webroot but before it finished I get the Runtime error. Does anyone know how to stop this error from freezing up my software? thanks.

Run Windows System Restore -
START | type rstrui - choose a restore point prior to the trouble occurring.

I updated my Vista with Win 7 32 bit. I don't see much difference in performance. I installed Adobe 8 yesterday. After doing that, my HP Pavillion Slimline pc hangs when I try to play a factory installed game; ie: solitare. Error message that the game won't respond. I cannot get online either. Then after a while, it works. HUH? When I do get online I go to a game website and when I try to play I get:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: C:\Program Files\MSN\MSNCoreFiles\msn.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."
My screen also blacks out and comes back and out again.....Argh....

Please Help!

You could try doing a System Restore to a date prior to the Adobe install -- this might be a quick fix if something didn't get installed correctly.

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/

---------------------------------------------------------------

It's likely to be an application error or conflict. Back in Win98 days installed games like Solitaire frequently had conflicts with installed antivirus programs or certain other apps.

Try testing this issue using "clean boot" techniques -- it seems like a good candidate for that if it happens predictably.

You might want to even start in Safe Mode first and see if it happens there -- if not, you've ruled out a problem with system files, including the game itself.
First, restart in Safe Mode if necessary -- (tap the f8 key promptly on startup and choose the Safe Mode option from the boot menu) or Normal mode

Then:

Run msconfig and select the "Services" tab. Check "Hide Microsoft Services" and then disable the rest. Also uncheck "load startup items" on the general page.
Now restart and test the issue at hand

If no problems, run msconfig and recheck half the disabled items on the Services tab. Test again. If the problem recurs, UNcheck half the items you just checked to narrow down the culprit.

If the problem didn't occur, check the other half, so all the Services are enabled -- proceed to do this on the startup tab as well.

Get the idea? You want to isolate the problem to a specific startup if possible.

Note: if you already have items unchecked under msconfig > startups and are in “selective” startup mode – you should note what these are before beginning. They will need to be de-selected again.

Hi there,

Got a problem which has developed over past few days. Tried to use HP image zone which came with HP 2350 series printer/scanner. Hadn't used it in a long time and when I tried to access it received 0xc0000135 error. Got in touch with HP. They advised uninstalling the software, downloading .net framework 1.1 and reinstalling. Even though I have .net 1.1, they said reinstall it. I have uninstalled the printer and tried to download .net framework 1.1 from Microsoft downloads site. When I try to install it I am getting the following message :

Visual C++ runtime library

Runtime error

Program C:\WINDOWS\System32\msiexec.exe

The application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.

I thought it might be a windows installer problem so I downloaded Windows installer 3.1 with no problem.

Done all the usual scans for viruses, malware, spyware and found nothing.

Can anyone help ?

Cheers,

Aidanski

A:Runtime Error Visual C++ Runtime Library

I am getting the same error message, often. I just saw on Microsoft that there is an update to the Windows Installer program. If the version number is 3.1.4000.2435, the computer has Windows Installer 3.1 (v2) which is the most current. So you might have to update, see link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898628/Windows InstallerI already have 3.1(v2) loaded, but I am getting Runtime Errors regularly from Norton System Works/anti-virus. I am running XP/home, also using Webroot Spy/Virus and System Mechanic Pro 6. I update and scan regularly, but get no findings, even using the Trend freebie. Do I sound paranoid? But my Event Viewer showed lots of errors today (only because I just found it). source nview_infoerror event id: 1 and MSI Installer (source) event id 11316 User: ROMEMAIN\Owner. I also got warnings on warnings on Source EvntAgnt EventID 1015 Warning TraceLevel parameter not located in registry; Default trace level used is 32. Do I have problems? I think sooooo. Also Perf... rears its ugly head regularly. From my readings, the community has decided to ignore those PerfLib_PerfData files. But I got the message, again from Event Viewer, PerfNet Error Event 2002 and 2004Unable to open the Redirector service. Redirector performance data will not be returned. Error code returned is in data DWORD 0.I know I'm only supposed to put one problem in one report; but I am so confused! I am thinking my next step should be to update DirectX which appears to get updated monthly by M/S.Any ideas for me? Does the previous poster need to update to v2 (I am trying to be helpful here) Thank y'all. Thank y'all very much.

Hello All

I have 2 missing or corrupt Dlls One is <C_SpURs.DLL the other is <C_PsdRs.DLL.
Everything seems like it's working OK. It just pops up upon a fresh boot up or reboot.
I have to hit OK every time. Is it serious potentially? It is aggravating anyway and I would like to get rid of it. Thanks for any or all help. Al

Welcome to TSG

You got a few nasties running on your system
Go to control panel, add/remove programs and remove this

180Solutions (or 180Search)
Than

Download and unzip or install these programs/applications if you haven't already got them. If you have them, then make sure they are updated and configured as described
CWshredder from http://www.subratam.org/?page=removal
Spybot - Search & Destroy from http://security.kolla.de
Download Adaware SE http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
then
Run CWSHREDDER,

Close all browser windows, click on the cwshredder.exe then click "FIX" (Not "Scan only") and let it do it's thing.
and make sure you have all of Microsoft security updates

then reboot &

Run Sybot S&D

After installing, first press Online, press search for updates, then tick the updates it finds, then press download updates. Beside the download button is a little down pointed arrow, select one of the servers listed. If it doesn't work or you get an error message then try a different server

Next, close all Internet Explorer and OE windows, press 'Check for Problems', and have SpyBot remove all it finds that is marked in RED.

then reboot &
Run ADAWARE

Install the program and launch it.

First in the main window look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now then click Connect and download the latest reference files.

From main window :Click Start then under Select a scan Mode tick Perform full system scan.

Next deselect Search for negligible risk entries.

Now to scan just click the Next button.

When the scan is finished mark everything for removal and get rid of it.(Right-click the window and choose select all from the drop down menu and click Next)
Restart your computer.
then post a new hijackthis log

I have two user accounts on my Windows Vista home basic. I installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware early this afternoon. Works fine on my account, but the other account after trying to open it I get runtime error 0 and runtime error 440 automation. Any suggestions? Should I uninstall and reinstall or bad idea? I did detect infected files when I ran it earlier.

A:runtime error 0/runtime error 440 automation

Just uninstall it and reinstall. If you're worried about infected files, try running another malware program first and see what it says. A Squared Free is another good one or Spybot. Do you have an Antivirus program installed as well? If so, run that and see if you can detect anything.

I had Sound Disabled, Media Norton Visual Player Error Runtime & MORE Error, Error, a very bizarre problem today I downloaded about mpg files and put them into a folder on Visual Runtime Error, Sound Error, Norton Disabled, Media Player Error & MORE my desktop I opened one of them and it worked fine but after that every time I even opened the folder that the files were in only half of the thumbnails would appear and then it would tell me that I had a Visual C Runtime Error from explorer exe aborting At the same time as this windows would pop up a little message saying that my virtual memory was low Later it popped up a message saying that my Media Player needed to be reinstalled and that my Norton Antivirus needed to be reinstalled Then it disabled my Norton Firewall and my Norton Antivirus Lastly I Visual Runtime Error, Sound Error, Norton Disabled, Media Player Error & MORE started getting error messages Visual Runtime Error, Sound Error, Norton Disabled, Media Player Error & MORE telling me that my soundcard needed to be configured to handle voice files by enabling hardware acceleration The only problem with that was that Windows would not let me access the advanced sound settings I am running Windows XP all patches up to date MB Ram Gig HD - so I figured the quot low quot virtual memory had to be an error I tried tripling the virual memory to GB and also tried letting Windows automatically set the virtual memory size but neither of these fixed the problem My immediate thought was that it was a virus or trojan but Norton VirusScan Swat-It Trojan Scanner and System Suite VirusScan all failed to detect anything and all of them have their definitions up to date I ran a Google search to see what other things I should try and none of the following worked patching upgrading my Norton LiveUpdate uninstalling reinstalling Windows Media Player running chkdisk running SpyBot Search amp Destroy etc Bear in mind that I was not using my computer any differently than I ever use it so this was quite a problem for me I called my manufacturer s tech support and they said that I should use system restore which wasn t an option since I had deleted my last checkpoint to run a Norton Virusscan in Safe Mode They then said the only thing they could think of was to reformat my harddrive Anyway to make a long story short I gave up on this whole problem and merely took the whole folder full of mpg s and ran in through a file-shredding program Now EVERYTHING is back to normal How can this be Does anyone know what was going on Was this a virus trojan corrupt mpg s Should I be worried for the future or can I assume my computer is fine now Any insight would be greatly appreciated -David nbsp

What steps are you taking to run the check?

That error seems to indicate a hard drive problem, which is why it was suggested to run chkdsk /r.

Start/Run...type chkdsk /r and hit Enter. Type Y in new screen and hit Enter. Reboot the system. The command should execute, before booting into XP.

I was brought a machine the other day from a friend who got it from a house she was cleaning so of course there is no telling why they left it behind as it is souped up with all the fans lights and amd EP- KHA motherboard with Initialize (0xc0000005). - Application Application Services.exe To Failed The Error. the counter on it Services.exe - Application Error. Well...it seems to me (I may be misreading) but that system belonged to a unnamed 3d party, which had the operating license.

If I had found such system, the first thing I would have done is wipe it clean (because I don't like using someone else's data which they've decided to trash) and to give myself a good start at seeing if the system worked properly.

Then I would have done a clean install.

That's the only way that I know how to go from a series of unknowns...to a known good, working system.

Worst case scenario: The system is highly infected.

Best case scenario: The system has O/S or malware problems or a combination thereof.

I get the topic title message each time I boot up.  The full message is "MSASCui.exe Application error. This application failed to initialize properly (Oxc0000034). Click on OK to terminate the app."  One other message also appears each boot-up, beginning with "msmsgs.exe App error" etc.  What do I do?  I've tried system restore, re-downloading programs that appear to be affected (CCleaner, for example).  Thanks in advance.

A user is getting a popup warning upon login (see event log entry below).

This started last friday and another Tech ran chkdsk and the user was able to print a few times before they left at end of day, not able to print today. I ran the chkdsk but no luck.

The print spooler service will not start, when forced the popup shows.

I have removed and replaced spoolsv.exe with no luck.

Hi There

I have been given a friends computer to fix. The way he described it, it sounded like it was full of Malware etc, however I haven't been able to start it up as I get the following message appearing when I power it up.

userinit.exe - Application Error The Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click ok...

This message appears twice, I then get the wallpaper of the computer up, but nothing else, no icons or task bar. I have tried a wee trip to safe mode but don't get anywhere from that either, just the same message.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Cheers

Colin

OK this is admittedly a strange application' '<application not Win32 name> is a error. valid Avoiding one I have used an old probably a -bit application as my time synchronizer this I've used for quite some time Its name is TimeRC and is a great synchronizer as it tracks moon phases along with the time from selectable multiple potential time servers After a fatal software crash a couple of weeks ago I'm in the process of recovery Attempts to manually Avoiding '<application name> is not a valid Win32 application' error. launch the EXE result in a launch-time error stating that the ap is not compatible with my Windows Pro SP Note that I'm running on the same level of Windows that I was using prior to the crash re-install I have inhibited compatibility checking Group Policy adjustment only to incur the Win error I've been through the litany of utilities registry to correct this situation and I KNOW that this ap runs just fine on Windows from pre-crash days I am at my wits end trying to avoid this situation I suspect that there is a registry setting difference now versus pre-crash about which I'm ignorant so I'm open to any and all suggestions To use an alternative time synchronizer is not an option I'm anal about how my system looks feels and performs I've even tried running in XP mode virtual machine to no palatable result Note that I don't have access to the program's source code otherwise I could recompile There's got to be something that I'm missing Color me frustrated Randy Reist Lairbear

cmd.exe application error - application was unable to start correctly (0x0000142). Click ok to close the application

Anyone know why it happened?

I got this error when I tried to restart to install an update. However, in windows update, it showed I had nothing to update. There was the little yellow shield by the shut down button to indicate it was installing an update when I would shutdown.

I rebooted fine, and CMD works fine. Is it possible windows thought it had to install something, and the installer had already installed the update (I went onto windows update earlier myself to install the windows and silverlight updates) and it bugged because maybe it had to use cmd to execute the update or something?

A:cmd.exe application error - application was unable to start correctly

It seems to be happening again, but only when I shutdown when explorer is open. I tried and tested his multiple times. It has only happened after the new silverlight update and kb 30247777 (sorry if the number is wrong) update.

What is causing this?

A:Application error message every time I exit application

I don't see major here...Did you install anything before this happened? Perhaps IE 7.0?

Go to Start->Run and type in sfc /scannow and hit OK. Let it scan. If it finds any files missing/corrupted, it may ask for the Windows CD.

Download LSPFix http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/LSPFix.exe and run it. Check the box that says 'I know what I'm doing'. Click on inetcntrl.dll on the left window and then click on the arrow pointing to the right. Click Finish and follow the prompts.

Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following if they still exist and hit 'Fix Checked' after you checked the last one:

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust...search/ie.html
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust.../www.yahoo.com

Make sure you turn off any antivirus programs you have running while performing the online scan below. Using Internet Explorer, run a virus scan at http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner Click on 'Launch Kaspersky Anti-Virus Web Scanner' and install the ActiveX component from Kaspersky. Click Yes and it will begin downloading the latest definition files. Once that's done, click on 'Scan Settings' and make sure the following are selected:

Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
- Extended

Scan Options:
- Scan Archives
- Scan Mail Bases

Click OK. Now under select a target to scan, select 'My Computer'. It will start and scan your system. The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run. Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected. Now click on the 'Save as Text' button. Save the file to your desktop. Copy and paste that information in your next post.

SYSMAIN is Superfetch.

I see exception code = 0xc0000005. What anti-virus product(s) do you have installed? If "Internet Security" package w/ personal firewall like NIS, KIS, Mcafee, etc... - IT is the likely cause and s/b removed.

Hi All,

I recently purchased a new laptop and I have had this error occur almost since the start.

Basically, when I switch on my laptop, both bttray.exe and GrooveMonitor display the exact same error(bar the application name in the title) - I have also tried to install AVG Free which comes up with the same error when trying to start.

The error is:

BTTray.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc150004). Click OK to terminate the application.

I am running Microsoft? Windows Vista? Ultimate 6.0.6001.1.1252.44.1033.18.3066.1940

I haven't tried anything to correct this as I wouldn't know where to start.
Any help anyone can provide would be highly appreciated,

Thank you in advance,

Joe

Microsoft Word crashed because of this module: hpz3r4x6.dllThe references that I was able to find for this file suggest that its:1) an OEM driver file, and2) a Unified UI/Render plug-inWhich doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot to me, but I've got a guess or two about.Since the filename starts with HP and you've recently installed an HP OfficeJet...did you install it from the drivers on the disk, or did you download the drivers from HP? If you installed from the disk, did the disk (or the setup program) specify that the drivers were compatible with Windows Vista? Often printers will be marked with a "Works with Windows Vista" sticker - but won't have the Vista drivers on the installation CD/DVD.I would suggest uninstalling the drivers and software for the HP printer, then reboot and test to see if the error has been corrected. If it has, then try getting the Vista drivers from this link: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/suppor...Display=driversand see if that helps.

When I start up my comp, everything is fine until I reach the XP welcome screen. At this point the 'userinit.exe - user application error' message box appears twice. after clicking ok, windows continues to load but when it gets to the desktop nothing shows up. I can make desktop show up by going into WTM and going to file>new task(run)..., but as soon it loads i get multiple message boxes of 'rundll32.exe - application error'. I get similar messages when I try to run notepad, system restore, and when I double click on the icon to safely remove hardware.

I don't want to reformat my comp again, I've tried running sfc /scannow and its done nothing, tried reinstalling XP but for some reason its missing a file. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's what I believe is the culprit:

http://www.arikfr.com/blog/facebook-virus.html

and the error message i got after i downloaded it was Runtime Error 21 at 00DC49D2 (ncsjapi43.exe)

Now I can't install iTunes because of this:

Or Oblivion because of this

Now, I believe those two problems are linked and have something to do with the facebook virus which i have not gotten rid of.

My PC works fine, i was able to do system restore in Safe Mode at the time of the Runtime error but I don't recall running any Command Prompts.

My guess is that it's a really bad registry problem.

Can someone help me figure this out and walk me through it? Perhaps via MSNmessenger, skype, or AOL or on here? Many thanks.

A:Error: Runtime Error! R6002 - Floating point support not loaded??

First, uninstall all the programs that are giving you problems through Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a program. Then, uninstall all Visual C++ Redistributables software through Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a program.

Once you have finished uninstalling the software, install the following:Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x86)
Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable (x86)
Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86)Then install their updates through Windows Update. Then install the software again that you had been having problems with.

Also, stop using registry cleaners to try to fix problems; they just create more problems:Many of us on the forums actually do not recommend automated optimization tools for Windows 7. Windows 7 does a much better job of handling its own optimization than its predecessors did. We especially do not recommend registry cleaning as an "optimization" step because automated registry cleaning causes more harm to the registry than it actually repairs.

In the future, if you need help optimizing Windows 7, please post a thread in Performance & Maintenance - Windows 7 Forums or follow the tutorial enclosed in that forum to Optimize Windows 7.

I think I might of found a solution to this problem At first I went to C WINDOWS System spool Drivers W error for when runtime.dll up boot Lxcitime.dll message Error X LXCItime dll and removed the dll file to see if that made a different and it didn t Then I navigated my way to Registry key HKEY LOCAL MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion Run I right clicked reg value LXCICATS selected Lxcitime.dll Error error message for runtime.dll when boot up modify and removed the entry quot RunDLLEntry quot with out quotes Restarted my pc and did not get the error anymore Went back into the registry and found that registry had re created the quot RunDLLEntry quot I had deleted Anyway this worked for me and hopefully for others UPdate Still had issues after removal of above entry Went back in to registry same entry and removed quot DRIVERS W X LXCItime dll RunDLLEntry quot Don t know if I m on the right track or not but someone might be able to use this to further troubleshoot this issue Just a side note that after removal of this last entry that start up seemed to be kinda weird as in a slight hesitation Anyway for what its worth good luck

A:Lxcitime.dll Error error message for runtime.dll when boot up

Hello, I moved this to the Am I Infected forum as there are not the required logs posted for this forum. Its not unusual to receive such an error after using specialized fix tools.A "Cannot find...", "Could not run...", "Error loading... or "specific module could not be found" message is usually related to malware that was set to run at startup but has been deleted. Windows is trying to load this file but cannot locate it since the file was mostly likely removed during an anti-virus or anti-malware scan. However, an associated orphaned registry entry remains and is telling Windows to load the file when you boot up. Since the file no longer exists, Windows will display an error message. You need to remove this registry entry so Windows stops searching for the file when it loads. To resolve this, download Autoruns, search for the related entry and then delete it.Create a new folder on your hard drive called AutoRuns (C:\AutoRuns) and extract (unzip) the file there. (click here if you're not sure how to do this.)Open the folder and double-click on autoruns.exe to launch it.Please be patient as it scans and populates the entries. When done scanning, it will say Ready at the bottom.Scroll through the list and look for a startup entry related to the file(s) in the error message.Right-click on the entry and choose delete.Reboot your computer and see if the startup error returns.Credit to quietman7

Having updated to Windows 10, this message constantly appears when starting my Notebook. I have read other threads regarding the 3D Driveguard, my notebook is HP ProtectSmart....is this then the same theory? Power up is slow, internet connection crashes all the time....I am so over it.  This is the 2nd time I have upgraded to Windows 10, I reverted back to Windows 8.1 after all the initial glitches and am now seriously considering reverting back again.  Is there a solution in the first instance to repair the Error Message?

Dear Zaelene, I assume the problem is the driver software, it isn't compatible with your notebook. You can download compatible driver by searching it on google or HP sites.

G'day,

Ive recently installed Age of Empires 3. I got an error installing it - Runtime error.

Now i cannot uninstall the game. It doesnt appear in Programs, Add or remove and when i try uninstall using the cd, the uninstall option is disabled, as in i cannot press it.

Is it due to Net framework? Because that fails to update through microsoft update?

I have Net Framework 1.1, 2.0 installed but whne i try update it fails. Help would be appreciated. Cheers,
Tony.

I am having the same trouble with my computer. Did you install the Microsoft Update
Kb891711? Lots of people have been having trouble with this update. Check
Add/Remove in your control panel and see if it's there. I removed my update and my
computer works much better now, but I still get some Runtime Errors. Also right click on the Internet Explored icon and click on Properties. Click on the advanced tab and untick "Display a notification about every script error". This doesn?t fix the problem, it's just not as annoying.
