I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/directdownload.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Memory exception but we need to examine the DMP files to find out why.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP
We could also use some system information, which you can get easily by running msinfo32.
To do that go to start>run>type msinfo32>enter

When it is finished running go to file>save>name it and upload to us here.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

Quote:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Quote:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Hi as I mentioned in the title my PC restarts randomly, usually it's infrequent, but today it restarted twice when I clicked Delete an email. This is what is showing in Event VIewer

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0xbd0d20a2, 0xb1720304, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini092211-01.dmp.

Hopefully someone knows exactly what is the problem from those encrypted bugcheck errors.

A:Random PC restarts bugcheck event ID 1001

Your error code is 0x8E and these are almost always caused by hardware (and a good indicator of bad RAM) but sometimes they can be due to faulty drivers.

In your case the Nvidia driver nv4_disp.dll was specifically cited as the cause of your crash.

I suggest doing the following...

1. Go to our Download section and click on Utilities and then download Driver Sweeper 3.1 to your desktop screen and install.

2. Download the latest diver(s) for your video card but don't install them.

3. Uninstall your video card drivers and reboot your PC into Safe Mode. Run Driver Sweeper and remove ONLY the video card drivers. I had someone use it on their chipset drivers! If it doesn't find any video card drivers that is quite okay; just leave all other drivers alone.

4. Reboot and install new video card drivers.

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with an Events 1001 and/or 902 crash when I run GTA V it occurs at random times, and without warning. I've reset Windows 10 Pro, uninstalled and reinstalled the game but I keep getting the crashes. Windows 10 Pro should be up to date, I have my doubts about my mouse as the manufacturer hasn't released updated drivers in some time, and the rest of my peripherals/utilities should be up to date. Thanks in advance

Including event ID's 1000, 80, 11, 1001+2, etc... but I can certainly feel that there is good reason for all event log errors while working on my windows For example the blue screen Event log swarm! Including event ID's 1000, 80, 11, 1001+2, etc... of death appears once every - months or earlier today the computer just started getting really slow given my GB memory this raaarely happens or quot windows explorer quot would randomly crash however when this does happen it usually happens just once during a session then it restarts and it's fine so it's Event log swarm! Including event ID's 1000, 80, 11, 1001+2, etc... not preventing me from using my computer it's just something's wrong and it shouldn't be and I want to fix it I have rows and columns of event log errors such as event ID event ID and much more but since addressing all of them at once will probably invade the entire forum I prefer to address them perhaps in little bundles so I don't annoy the experts and exploit the resources Also I have a feeling that once I start fixing some of them many others will disappear automatically I'm sorry if my post is a bit vague but this is my first time here so please be patient with me and just tell me whatever information you need from me to narrow things down and I will do that I have provided a link to a few of my event logs to OneDrive which I appropriately labeled to make it easier to distinguish which one is which http drv ms mlhJJ Thank you so much in advance

Hi there,

I've been getting some rather random crashes, after trying all the usual troubleshooting I thought I had solved it by replacing the GPU but it has just reared its ugly head again tonight. The screen goes black randomly during gaming, no particular title or anything meaning I have to reboot. The event log mentioned this after I rebooted:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000501, 0x0000000000000500, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 022615-4796-01.

As per the instructions in the sticky I've attached the DM Log collector Tool zip file.

Hope you can help.

Thanks,

Mark

I have analysed your dump files and below has been provided an analysis of the same for informative purposes :-
DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133)
The DPC watchdog detected a prolonged run time at an IRQL of DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, A single DPC or ISR exceeded its time allotment. The offending
component can usually be identified with a stack trace.
Arg2: 0000000000000501, The DPC time count (in ticks).
Arg3: 0000000000000500, The DPC time allotment (in ticks).
Arg4: 0000000000000000

So, it seems that a driver exceeded the time limit allotted to it. Let's check the stack and see if we could find something.

So, it was the NVIDIA Driver responsible for the crash. Could you please run the Display Driver Uninstaller from this **LINK** and uninstall the currently installed NVIDIA Driver. Once the current driver has uninstalled, kindly install a driver which is few versions behind or try the driver you got in the Driver Disc with the Graphics Card.

Below is a list of 3rd party drivers present on your system -

When it crashes, the video feed to my monitors stops so they go dark and say no signal and any sound that was playing begins stuttering; after about 10 seconds my computer restarts, so apparently there was a bluescreen that I could not see and the delay was windows saving the crash dump.

The problem is that the crashes are completely random; well, not completely, they only occur when I'm playing a fullscreen game, never when browsing the web or watching videos. About a month ago I freshly reinstalled windows 7 on a spare hard drive; hoping the problem was somehow related to 'garbage' and a fresh install would fix it. It stopped... for a while, and then started back up again.

I did some googling recently, found that someone with a similar issue had fixed it by upgrading their drivers; did so and found several including mobo inf and related were very out of date. That was about a week ago. When Skyrim was released on the 11th I did a marathon gaming session that lasted about 30 hours (yeah, I know) with zero computer issues whatsoever.

Then, yesterday afternoon I started playing Skyrim again.. and it crashed again randomly about 2 hours into my play. Crashed again about an hour later; and then this evening it crashed like 10 minutes into my play session.

I don't normally ask for help with computer issues; I've always fixed them myself with assistance from googling stuff and forums that helped me figure out what to do, but this is beyond me.

I built my current system december '08, upgraded the graphics card to the current gtx 570 last december and upgraded my OS from vista to 7 a few months ago. The rest of my system info is in my system profile stuff. Brief version below:
Gigabyte EX-58 Extreme
Core i7 920 stock clock (2.66ghz)
6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3 1600MHz
EVGA GTX 570
Antec TPQ-1000 PSU
Windows 7 Pro x64 OEM

Also, my system runs quite cool; normal cpu idle temps are 84 F and system 120 ish. I've never experienced any graphical corruption either.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

One other thing I just recalled. Before about november 8th, these crashes used to say they were related to:
Event 18 WHEA-logger
A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor ID: 0

However, these particular crashes stopped once I upgraded my BIOS from the mobo original to the latest (non-beta) bios F12

Mixed hardware (BC 124) and BC (116) errors. they seemed to change to BC 116 (below) when you removed the driver specified in driver verifier.

If it isn't temps, it could be power (you upgraded your gpu), what is the PSU rating?

"It's not a true crash, in the sense that the bluescreen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception".

Since Vista, the "Timeout Detection and Recovery" (TDR) components of the OS video subsystem have been capable of doing some truly impressive things to try to recover from issues which would have caused earlier OSs like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends the video driver a "please restart yourself now!" command and waits a few seconds.

If there's no response, the OS concludes that the video driver/hardware combo has truly collapsed in a heap, and it fires off that stop 0x116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating.

Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU.

Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it might be as simple as dust buildup... Read more

Hi there I've spent a good hrs searching for a fix to my problem - including SevenForums - with no success I just purchased a Clevo P HM with i - XM processor and GTX graphics card It's an awesome system I went into event log and after noticing a few critical and error events I decided to fix the important ones I've done this - except for the Error - Event DHCP Client quot Your computer was not assigned an address from the network by the DHCP Server for the Network Card with network address x EB The following error occurred x Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address DHCP 1001: Client DHCP Event Event Log server quot This is the most common of the events but others have network address' of x F and x A C all with the same error x Many people have thoughts on what's causing it so here's what I've done - Confirmed all my network drivers etc are all up to date - Followed and completed the full Windows help Event Log Event 1001: DHCP Client file on the topic - This includes pinging myself and the DNS address' to confirm responses - Completed a release and renewal of the ipconfig command on the DHCP lease - Disabled ipv in all network adaptors - Disabled ICS in all network Event Log Event 1001: DHCP Client display adaptors after restart checking services - Disabled enabled Bonjour to eliminate - Checked services of DNS auto DHC auto etc etc - Turned off Virgin Broadband on one restart to see if the error occured which it still did so I'm sure it's not that connection - A few other things I can't remember over hrs I thought it might be my Bluetooth network coming up in Network and Sharing Centre as 'Unidentified Network' or that it is a work network where my Virgin Broadband USB is on a home network in Network and Sharing Centre I cannot amend the Bluetooth 'Unidentified Network' name I also noted that my Bluetooth connection is coming up as an 'Internet connection' rather than a PAN but this could be because my iPhone has been discovered added and used as a tethering on the internet on occasion My bluetooth is a separate USB and not on my wifi card When I completed ipconfig all to check on this I noted that all have DHCP enabled except for Virtual Netork and Virgin Broadband I also noted that my Intel N Ultimate wifi card did not have the ipv address listed and did not have preferred next to it When I conducted the ipconfig renew command my N wifi card could not be included in this because it has not been connected to a network - I use my Virgin Broadband USB for internet at least until I trade this in for a prepaid wifi device Maybe completing the ipconfig renew command when I have a network connected to the N wifi card There are STACKS of users out there trying to fix this issue I believe most are not finding their answers and have probably tried everything I've listed as doing without success I'm hoping by displaying my efforts on this that we will get an answer hopefully that others can use to get rid of this error that pops up on every system boot many MANY thanks in advance for your help It is GREATLY appreciated

A:Event Log Event 1001: DHCP Client

I've had a problem with DHCP renew not working properly for months, not sure when it started. I've tried registry settings, new drivers, etc. Nothing has worked. Often I only lose my IP address for a second or less, but of course, this is enough for any open connection to drop.

After DHCP renew fails to the point of my connection being lost, some other DHCP mechanism kicks in which (almost) always works at once.

Right now, however, the problem seems to have gone away.

What I did was uninstall the driver from my network card (Realtek RTL8168D/8111D), again and again, until it was no longer possible to uninstall the remaining driver (Windows default I'm guessing).

Then, after some time, an optional update appeared in Windows Update. It was a network driver that was released by Microsoft on May 14, 2009.

After I installed this driver, DHCP renew has never failed.

I'm sorry if this gives you false hope in solving your issue (which perhaps is different), I just had to provide the one thing that actually worked for me. I know your frustration!

The past 3 days I have been having random freezes for no specific reason. I have run memtest86 an it found no errors. I have run the windows disk checking program as well with no errors. The only thing I recently installed into my computer hardware wise is a new graphics card the gtx 560ti. I have a minidump file if anyone wants to take a look at it. Also this freezing happens in firefox usually and I have to do a hard shutdown.

We do need the actual DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.
To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

A:UMDF Reflector fails to start (event 10114, Driverframeworks-Usermode) resulting in WUDFRd failed to load... (event 219, Kernel-PnP)

Hmm.  Now that is interesting.
In my System event log I was getting an NTFS error (57: Failed to flush tlog).  I didn't think it was from my HDD, so using diskpart, I ran a 'CLEAN ALL' on my SD card, then recreated the FS as exFAT (previously it was NTFS).
Seems to be working now, although I'm getting VDS Basic Provider errors (Unexpected failure.  Error code:
[email protected]) "which can be safely ignored" (re: KB979391).
This begs the question: if it can be safely ignored, why is it raised in the first place?
Boot time is also restored to an acceptable timescale.

Hi,

For the past 3 nights between 2100 and 2200 Event Viewer has been recording a string of approximately 150 'Kernel Event Tracing'events. The system works ok, but as I sit and watch, the event viewer racks up about 1 every 5 seconds. I have attached a screen shot.

The PC is about 5 years old, but this install of Windows 7 SP1 was done about 1 month ago along with the addition of a Samsung SSD.
My searches have not found any suggested solutions other than system restore or download a 'Registry Fix' which doesn't appeal to me at all.

Any help would be appreciated.
Rob.

Is win 7 installed already?
Do you have a backup from before the problem started?
Do you have a working win 7 dvd to do a repair install?

There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Go to the windows log>application tab.

You want to look for critical errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.

Let us know if you need help with any of this.

We do need the actual DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

It is almost impossible to spot trends from a single DMP file so if you have m ore than one please upload them. If you only have one please wait until the computer crashes again then upload both.

* Zip up the copy.

* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Hi. I recently did a fresh install of Windows 8.1 because of this problem and thought that would fix it. After a few days my computer would freeze with a loud sound coming through the speakers and then restart automatically after. The event viewer lists Kernel-Power event ID 41. This is also a brand new computer I built.

Please follow the instructions here> http://www.techsupportforum.com/foru...ta-452654.html

Also D/L Memtest+ burn it to a CD using a free program like Imgburn if you need one then boot from the CD to test the ram, let it run for at least 6 passes or until you see an error.
Memtest on a bootable CD is more conclusive then the Windows Memory test.

Just got this new computer earlier this month and since I have had 3 BSOD's. The first happened while watching a Youtube Video, the second while watching Plex, and the third while I was watching Twitch. They come up with the same error each time and it's "Kernel-Power" Event ID 41 Task Category (63) I am BEGGING someone to help me figure out what it could be and help me fix it. This is a brand new computer and I was hoping to have some solution or idea as to what it could be. I have attached what I believe it the proper .dmp zip of the most recent event.

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone in advance for helping me through this.

EDIT: I have attached all 3 of the .dmp's from all 3 crashes.

So sorry for posting it in the wrong thread earlier!

Hi all I've read through the responses for this same issue related to Windows but am not familiar enough with Windows to know if the same fixes would apply I got my new ASUS laptop on Mother's Day this year and the first event happened a week later I've had this same event happen times since then as shown by the attached image I'm comfortable with computers but am not an IT person so I'm not comfortable performing tasks within my system - fix? event how 41 Kernel-power to unless I know what the heck I'm doing or why I have no clue why this is happening Suggestions from the W forum said overclocking it's not heat this last time it had been in sleep mode while I was out and within moments of waking it up it crashed sudden loss of power it's plugged in AND has battery left and so on In other words it doesn't appear to be related to any of those things It just randomly happens Can someone please tell me why this keeps happening and how to fix it I've been very disappointed in my new laptop since getting it I've NEVER had such issues with a new computer before Oh and I thoroughly dislike Windows and I doubt I'm alone in that view Thanks

Just my two cents but consider yourself very lucky to have only received 6 of those Event ID 41 notices over a two-month timeframe. This is a fairly common anomaly and if it doesn't happen on regular basis, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Hello,

I would start by updating this old, 2005 driver. One of most causes of BSOD. See the instruction below regarding on updating it.

Code:
fffff880`0417d000 fffff880`04185000 ASACPI ASACPI.sys Mon Mar 28 15:30:36 2005 (42476C4C)

Quote:
The 2005 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit " (it's about the 8th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

A:Kernel-Power - Event ID 41 - Pls help

Hi ramon82,

Thread has been moved to App/Crashes/Hangs part of the forum instead. The Kernel-Power error is mostly common when the computer doesn't have enough power to keep all components running. Meaning your PSU is most likely damaged/about to die, or you have hardware that drains more power than your PSU can deliver.

Please get back to us with your computers specification.

As a general tip;
Try removing all external harddrives, webcams etc (everything USB/External that drains power from the computer) and run with Mouse/Keyboard only, and see if it reoccurs.

Hi I Build this PC in April so its about months old It did 41, Kernel-Power Event run perfectly without any serious errors until now Now i experience the system hanging so i can't move the mouse anymore and pushing the quot Caps Lock quot or Event 41, Kernel-Power the quot Event 41, Kernel-Power Scroll Lock quot on the Keyboard don't turn on the respective lights on it so i guess it's a hard hang In the Event Viewer i see a quot Event Kernel-Power quot critical event and i had this event so far times The first time it happened at and there it has some bug-check parameters All later events twice that day also twice don't show any Bug-check parameters at all only a zero value As far as i could investigate it's probably a hardware error but i not rule out that a software error could be the culprit The only Hardware change this PC got apart from its building in April was a External Hard drive i bought towards end of November a Western Digital My Book But it's got it's own power source and it's not always running so it can not be that my PSU is to weak I run the SF Diagnostic Tool with quot grab all quot and put the zip to this thread so i save myself to list up what's in my PC I hope someone can tell me where to start with the repairs those freezes annoy me One more thing it seems to mostly happen when i am AFK and let the PC do something like download a big file or big file movement to and from the external HD When i come back i hear a weird noise coming from the PC probably from the Ventilators not turning at correct speeds Thank You all in advance

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi Chris and welcome
event ID 41 is basically a timeout waiting for a device to respond. If we had the actual DMP file we might be able to tell you which. there is both a description and several fixes here Event ID 41 Source WinMgmt

Also you can use these to find upload the dmp file. http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...d-problem.html

My computer randomly shuts down. It happens mostly when I leave the computer running and walk away for an extended period of time (couple hours). I have done research and tried to install/update a number of drives but still continue to have the issue.

A:Win 7 Kernel-Power Event ID 41 (63)

Kernel-Power Event ID 41 simply means what you already know the PC shut down unexpectedly either on it's own or because it bsod'd and you cut the power or hit the reset switch.

Assuming it does it shut off without a BSOD lets get a look at the temps and voltages.
D/L and run Hardware Monitor do something intense like a virus scan or gaming for a bit, Alt+Tab back to HWM expand all the trees and use the Win7 snipping tool to grab a screen shot of the HWM window, post the screen shot using the paperclip button in the advanced message box(Go Advanced button).

Of the 6 .dmp files from this year 5 are blaming a native Windows driver pci.sys which is most likely means it is the driver finding a fault and calling for a stop.
1 blaming the Nvidia driver.

If the Bsod's are continuing lets run driver verifier and see if it pokes a rouge driver into revealing itself.
> Follow the instructions here, make sure to set a restore point before enabling verifier, also if you do not have Windows disk create a Windows repair disk verfier set up instructions here>
http://www.techsupportforum.com/foru...ed-473665.html

And of run Memtest86+ to test the ram, you have quite a bit of ram so testing for 6 passes will take quite a bit of time.
D/L Memtest+ Here are some helpful instructions > How to perform a MemTest86+ Test | Tech Support Forum

Upload Dump Files:
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service - then post the link to it.
Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDump

I keep getting a Kernel Power Critical error 41 at random times. I have no rhyme or reason to decipher why the crashes are occurring. Here are my dumps.

Hi.

They're memory type of errors associated with different drivers and .exe.

Check that the correct Vdimm (RAM voltage) and timings are set in the bios specific to your RAM modules. Visit RAM maker's site for details and adjust accordingly.

Edit - According to this (if it's for your specific RAM modules), 1.5v is default so leave that alone. You could set timings to 9-9-9-24 though.

Run Memtest overnight to see if it picks up on any errors.

Hello & welcome,

* Event ID 41 is basically a timeout waiting for a device to respond.
There is both a description and several fixes here Event ID 41 Source WinMgmt.

Event ID: 41 Source: WinMgmt

* If we had the actual DMP file we might be able to tell you which.

* Your problem may be caused by many things > RAM problems >graphics drivers > overclocking > heat issues > using more than one AntiVirus at the same time > etc etc.

* Make sure PSU is working properly

* If overclocking, restore to original

Run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r.
Install the latest updates from Windows Update.

Do the exact same steps for chkdsk /r but instead of typing in sfc /scannow type chkdsk /r.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Run Prime95, when running it check the temps. If they go too high stop the test. Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

This bug-check was caused by the ATI Driver. I would suggest you to run Display Driver Uninstaller from this **LINK** and then uninstall the currently installed ATI Drivers. Once they are uninstalled, install the drivers from the Driver Media provided by the manufacturer. If it still doesn't help, try installing a driver couple of versions before the current one.

Furthermore, it appears that your BIOS is outdated. I would suggest you to update the BIOS. Kindly note that the flashing of BIOS can be a very unforgiving process and a minute mistake could leave your motherboard bricked or dead.
Visit the below link to the downloads page for your motherboard -
GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-P67A-UD3 (rev. 1.0)

Also, report back the temperatures of the system using this free Utility CoreTemp. Report back the temperatures when your system is idle and under heavy load.

Kindly remove Daemon Tools till the time we are troubleshooting as it is known to cause problems sometimes.

Below is a list of 3rd party drivers present on your system :-

Hello Woevie, and welcome to Seven Forums.

The workstation is used with Autodesk products AutoCad and Revit. Lately has been crashing randomly while working on Revit Architecture - is an Autodesk product. I suspect system instability and will look to format and reload operating system. I am submitting a set of logs using the DM log collector to help me confirm that there is no hardware issue, as I am preparing to reload Windows with a clean fresh install.

Hi jrodriguez.

Most of the BSODs are stop 0x1, which is usually caused by a third party antivirus. And in this situation what should be done first is to uninstall ESET and use Microsoft Security Essentials as the antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Two of them are stop 0x3B. They both are pointing to Novell, but different modules.

Code:
Image path: \??\C:\Program Files\Novell\Client\XTier\Drivers\ncpl.sys
Image name: ncpl.sys

Code:
Image path: \??\C:\Program Files\Novell\Client\XTier\Drivers\nccache.sys
Image name: nccache.sys
You need to update the Novell products those you are using.

Let us know the results.

I have been having random BSOD's for two months now. Attached is the SF file.

I triple boot Windows 7, Linux Mint & Arch. Mint & Arch are fine, Windows 7 is crashing. i would appreciate any help or advice.

SFC/Scannow was run

Check Disk run

One virus scan run and only one virus program installed

Malwarebytes Pro run with no issues found.

I do have a ATI 5870 which I have read is problematic.

Thanks everyone!

So recently I have encountered BSOD and have ran all tests known to run to check hardware and everything seems to be fine...I updated windows and installed SP1....I have found the dump files and am attaching them to this thread for analysis....Any help would be great because I've pretty much tried everything. Also is another .zip folder containing screenshots taken to capture error codes and other information containing crash.

I was able to run a debug and get screenshots of the results....May someone review this and tell me what the resolution may be?

In the past few months, my Toshiba Satellite L675-S7048, began to reboot on its own. No BSOD at all. After looking at a few postings on the subject and looking at my machine, I determined that it was a kernel power event. I turned on logging, waited for another crash and have collected the log files from the Seven Forum Diagnostic Tool. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you follow the description links, you will see that all the crashing elements are belonging to Symentec. Uninstall Norton and all Symentec products using Norton Removal tool. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Let us know the results.

i have got the solution to event id 37 , so i probably thought to share it with everyone. this error is caused due to the settings in BIOS. it has to do with INTEL SPEEDSTEP TECHNOLOGY. if your system supports and or intel speedstep technology is installed ,then 1. then go to your BIOS settings and under power options 2. DISABLE intel spedstep technology ( by default this is enabled ) 3. now restart the system.  the said workaround was provided to me by intel support staff. thanks

You have 2 STOP 0xF4 errors caused by hardware, and one STOP 0x116 error caused by video drivers/video card.

But, there are not any memory dump files in the attached zip file. Please do the following:

Quote:

If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service (not RapidShare as the analysts usually can't download from it) - then post the link to it.
Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): http://www.carrona.org/setmini.html

Hello and welcome to sevenforums!

I have been running Windows 7 since the alpha days. I am now running the retail version on 4 or 5 computers and one in particular is experiencing the very same issue you are reporting. After searching for information on this event, it is apparent many folks are having this issue. I have read many different ideas how to fix it but none have actually worked. If I find a resolution, I will post it here.

Hi,

Wonder if somebody can help my troubleshoot BSOD.

Event ID 41

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Hi guys,

I have been facing an issue with my computer in the past months. Sometimes I get a BSOD with 3 variations of names: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK, FAILURE and sometimes MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. I already downloaded all the updates for my OS. And also, sometimes my sound freezes repeating constantly a milisecond of a sound. I already refreshed system also and did most of solutions I found on internet, but none seems to solve so I decided to post my minidump files attached.

Hope someone can solve this annoying stuff.SAMSUNG-14_03_2015_153809,23.zip

Ok people thank you in advance for the time in helping me to diagnose the problem. I have searched around and the bsod seems pretty minor...? I am kind of worried though, this happened on a relatively new desktop i bought just 2 months ago. I am hoping that nothing major has happened... This is the first BSOD. Once again thank you for your time.

I've been Event ID 41, error... Kernel-Power getting periodic errors event ID that states The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first This error could be caused if the system stopped responding crashed or lost power unexpectedly Well I didn't loose power the system stopped responding but didn't crash with a BSOD The frequency of this error seems random that hangs the system and then reboots without warning The event ID is always proceeded by two event ID information level about the quot FilterManager quot There seems to be no rime and reason as to why this event is taking place I could be just browsing the web with FF IE working on some MS Office documents business programs etc and boom down she goes The KB article points to hardware failure overheating overclocking etc but The system runs with default clock settings neither the CPU nor the memory overclocked This system also runs Windows SP Professional -bits dual-boot that has no issues with random reboots or any other problems for that matter Is there a way to disable loading the quot FilterManager quot for testing purposes

A:Event ID 41, Kernel-Power error...

What drivers are loaded by the FilterManager before the crash? Are they the same for every crash? Event id 6 may be more useful for troubleshooting than event id 41 that just states that the system crashed and was automatically restarted. www.eventid.net suggests updating all the drivers, firmware, BIOS, etc., resetting the BIOS settings (jut in case), run hardware diagnostics, though if it works fine in Windows 7 is most probably a driver compatibility issue.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Another problem is that my system restore isnt working either. I am really confused. What should I do?

Recently I have encountered BSOD and seems to be that its more than likely caused by my PSU but I dont understand how....it doesnt overheat according to my temp reads but it seems to be that the watt readings are higher than usual and may be the cause for the crash....wondering if anyone could give me some input on how to fix this without replacing PSU if thats possible to do.

Hi.I have problem with my laptop freezing during gaming or even "doing nothing".I got this issue yesterday 5 times previously maybe 3 times.
I send You as You suggest Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 and PERFMON HTML folder to help me to fix this problem.

I have original preinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits on my 3 months old laptop which is released in this year.I use this version since I got this laptop, I didn't make reinstall.
Thank You for Your help and I hope You'll help me to fix this issue.

Your upload did not contain any DMP files Please use these and try it again

We really need the actual DMP file.

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the "Crashes and Debugging" section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

They seem to happen about once every couple days at different times. Sometimes they'll happen when I'm using the machine, other times when it is idle. The machine is stable with Prime95 (I haven't really tried running prime95 for more than an hour). Temps look fine (45C and below) even when torture testing. System Specs below. I updated the BIOS and checked for new drivers. Didn't help. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I would like to avoid reinstalling the OS if possible. I have attached the MiniDump.

These were almost all caused b y memory management. I would download memtestx886 and run it for 5 passes to test your ram

If you are overclocking stop.
