Burning karaoke disc

Q: Burning karaoke disc

How do I burn karaoke files to discs that I can use on separate karaoke machine. Step by step please, as I am a little backward in progressing forward, as far as computers are concerned. I have tried various commercial software, but I found them all confusing.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/directdownload.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi

first off you need a decent set of recordable disks, dont use cheap ones,

Now go to www.powerkaraoke.com and download power CD+G Burner

This simple program has 3 tabs

Burn

Rip

Copy

as the titles suggest what they are i wont explain it.

You choose the Burn tab click add, browse to the folder where the files are and add them in.

For some reason PCDG moves the last file to the top of the list, dont know why, just check they are in the right order if not click the file and use the up and down tab to move them in the list.

Hint to add files click the first one, hold down the shift key and click the last one.

Choose a low recording speed and then click Burn

Job done

I use this tool and its probably the best one on the market, however it does cost a bit but its worth it

I have a machine that plays Neo+g discs, which are basically lots of cd+g discs burned onto one dvd disc.
I have loads of my cd+g discs ripped onto my pc and would like to find a programme that would let me burn them all onto a dvd disc. I currently have the power cd+g burning programme but it doesn't let me burn to dvd, only cd-r.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks, Allan.

I'm not sure if anyone here can help me but I'm trying to find free software for burning cdg disks for a karaoke machine the wife got for Christmas and can't use because we have no music for it.

I've found quite a bit of karaoke music with utorrent but I'm not sure just what I need to use to burn it to disk and make it work with the lyrics on screen. I feel like I"m missing a program for reading cdg. the mp3 part comes through just fine but it'd be a waste of disk if I can't get the lyrics as well.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you guys may have.

I have installed Nero Burning 5.5.10 recently and would like to know how to access the Karaoke filter and how to use it. Can anybody help?

A:Karaoke filter in Nero Burning

Did not know there was one.. You can't burn Karaoke disk with nero unless there in VCD format. Nero doesn't support subcodes.

For karaoke disk you need to visit

http://www.karaokeplayground.co.uk/index2/index2.htm

They'll tell you how to burn, rip, play, and what not for karaoke.
Also get on the newsgroups. alt.binaries.sounds.karaoke
and get you some good mp3+g's and go to
www.winamp.com and install winamp and the cdg plugins
Then you can karaoke your heart out.

For burning karaoke disk, download "daemon tools" then use cdmate, clonecd, or click and burn to burn them.

To remove vocals try searching for
yogen vocal remover.
it's freeware.

Hi All,
I know this is 'against the rules' as I have posted this in another section as well but I got no replies so thought I would try this instead.

I have a toshiba satellite L750 running Windows 7 home premium, when trying to burn anything onto a blank disc I get as far as selecting my items and asking it to burn but it keeps telling me to insert a blank disc (which obviously I have). I have tried several different types of blank disc but it dosnt seem to recognise any of them.

Would be very greatful if someone could help.

Many thanks in advance!

I have a HP laptop running Vista Home Premium. I have a DVD+/- R/RW with Lightscribe drive.

After I burn any type of CD or DVD, either in iTunes or using the default program that came with my computer, no CD or DVD will be recognized by my computer until I restart the computer.

If I go to My Computer after inserting a disc it will show an icon for "CD-Rom" (i put in a audio cd) and if I double click on it will prompt with "Insert a Disc" and eject my drive.

The fact that if I restart and it works is alright, but it's stupidly annoying if I'm trying to back-up my computer and I have to restart every time I want to burn another CD.

What can I try to do to fix this?

A:burning more than one dvd onto disc

When burning,be sure to select the multisession option and
not finalize disk.
Multisession will leave the disk open for more writing.
You can finalize it when you have everything you want on it.

If by regular disc you mean a CD. Then the answer is probably no. I do not know the size of Media Center but a DVD will hold over 4 Gigs of data. A CD only around 700 MB.

Downloaded MemTest and when I right click on the .iso to burn to disc the option is not in the menu.  I downloaded it on another Win10 machine with the same results, right click on the .iso does not have an option to burn to disc.  Another .iso file in my downloads (Decrypt) has the burn to disc option on right click.  Both files are .iso and show as disc image.  Any idea why the memtest .iso does not have a burn to disc option?  It's downloaded on two different computers so that pretty much eliminates a computer problem and another .iso file will burn to disc on both machines.

You can burn mp3's to any kind of DVD. All you need to check is what kind your drive supports and what type is supported on the device you want to play them on. For the most part, it makes no difference.

He burns them like this he selects the photos by highlighting one and then going (Select All). Then he clicks the burn button on the tool bar. He tells me a box pops up that says MASTER or something (???) but he says he selects the MASTER button. Any help/questios will work.

I didnt have the internet on, so nothing interfered with it.

Finally, I swapped the disc to a CDR disc in D drive and it finally worked.

Hi,

I have two questions.

1) I am wanting to burn movies to a CD-R. I know this is known as a VCD. I usually burn movies to a DVD but would like to learn to burn them to a CD. Is there much difference in quality and can I (once burnt) play them on a DVD player?

2) I am wanting to back up my laptop to cd. Is this possible? How?

Thanks in advance.

What's the source of the movies?

As far as backing the laptop up to CD, the best option is something like Acronis True Image. It'll make an image backup on a set of CD's that will restore a completely bootable image if necessary. It's available for $30 downloaded purchase from www.newegg.com, search on Acronis.

Hi, I'm running Windows 7 premium 64bit.
I generally use Ashampoo burning software 7 to burn files to discs etc and it works fine........however it wont burn to RAM discs.
I tried using the Windows built in burning operation to drag and drop 2 gb of files to a DVDRAM disc......it started OK, but after 40 minutes I pressed cancel.
I burned the same files to a normal DVD and it was done in a couple of minutes.
The discs are made by Panasonic and should be just drag and drop.
My DVD drive is an Asus sata drive. I checked on the Asus web site and the last driver build was a few years old, so I didn't try it.
Anyone else having problems with DVDRAM discs?
Is there other software I could be using?
Thanks

I've been converting FLV video file types using CopyToDVD, but when the burn option automatically appears after these convertings, it gives me no choice to finalize the burning of this session - but not to finalize the CD or DVD disc... and so consequently I've been finding myself stuck with discs that have only a 4 minute video clip from YouTube with no option to burn more files to the disc.

Sorry if this is a stupid question I have about 25 gb of jpeg photos in various folders that i want to back up as they are seen on the computer to half a dozen or so dvds with no compression so they are exactly as seen on the computer can any body please tell me what the best multiple disc burning software to use for this hope this makes sense , I am using vista ultimate 64 bit o/s cheers for any help

A:multiple disc burning

You will have to divide 25Gigs up into 4.7Gig Parts to fit on a DVD and burn each disk separately. There is no multi-disk burning tool that I know of that is in existence.

You could then take each 4.7Gig part and compress it to possibly get 2 zipped files onto a DVD.

I have run into a problem in trying to burn video from my computer files to a DVD-R disc.
I am using Arcsoft Medianimpression for Kodak software and have just downloaded "Free Studio DVD Burner, version 3.1.1 build 305" software today.
I selcted the videos that I wanted to burn and followed the instructions to burn them to a disc but the burner software will not accept the DVD disc. It rejects it and repeats a message to "insert disc in drive"
My computer has both an "E" drive and a "D" drive but neither one is receptive.
What am I missing in this procedure?

In iTunes on my Mac, I decided to burn a disc of about 70 songs, ~600 MB, onto a 700 MB CD-R. It told me that all my songs wouldn't fit, so I split the burn playist in two, and then when it gave me the same message, I shaved a few songs off of the two playlists. It still gives me the same message after trimming down both to a slender ~225 MB each: that's 25 songs! What am I doing wrong?

I have the most up-to-date version of iTunes and Mac OS X.

For the most part, all you need is software that can rip a disc.

That's pretty much it, besides having a burner and some blank discs.

I'm able to burn data, such as programs, onto dvds, but when I try to burn my photos or videos it won't work. I'm using the latest version of Nero.

A:Disc burning problem

Photos and videos are just data files with different filename extensions. They should burn to a DVD data disc the same as any other data files. Are you trying to covert the photos into a slide show and/or make the video files into a video DVD that will play on a standard DVD player?

Can you expand a bit on, "it doesn't work"? Does Nero report an error at any time or does it go through all the motions of burning the files but nothing is on the disc?

Hi all, I've used the inbuilt ability to burn a disc from an ISO, and so far i'm very impressed.

I was wondering is it possible to create a disc image within W7 ?

Also, I notice that it so far has only let me burn DVD ISO's and does not recognise CDR's etc, almost as if, because I have a DVD burner attached, then a DVD it will be!

I'm sure it's something simple that i'm just overlooking, or an app buried deep inside some folder.

Hello Mojowon, welgome to the forum.

If you are having problems making the Computer Manufacturer?s Vista Recovery Process/Media, you will have to contact your Computer Manufacturer.

It is their Recovery Process which they have set up, So they can better solve it. Contact your manufacturer support division.

Please help folks.

I need to burn 2 DVD Folders each 1.96 GB on a 4.7 gb disc.

I have tried 2 modes as a trial on a DVD RW disc.
One using the 2 DVD Folders
and
next as iso image of each folder.

The burning was successful but they will not play on my stand alone player.

I used the ImgBurn and also the DeepBurner Pro.

I have a 4.7 gb disc burnt many years ago which has 2 dvd files/folders but I am unable to remember how I did that.

So if yu can share your experience please, I would be very grateful.

Thanks a lot. Cheers

hello,
I have burned some data (three folders) with cdburner-xp. It's been important data so I picked out best DVD disc I had and chose 12x speed. After that, when I try to read the DVD disc(verbatim) there are only two folders in it. So where is the third? I tried to read the DVD disc by two different DVD rooms. There are always two folders only and one is missing.
However, when I open the DVD with cdburnerxp it asks if I want to continue the session, and I say yes then all three folders are being seen by the software... So what is happening? What is to blame?
It is said that cdburner-xp is a valuable free software among the others.

I have winXP
thanks in advance.

I don't think this is a Windows or a Hardware issue. Sounds like a Software issue. Your burning software must be able to recognize and burn to BD.

Perhaps post this in the Music, Pictures & Video Forum?

A:drive is not capable of burning disc

Hello redhat

If you are trying to burn a DVD you will need software to do that.

If you are trying to burn a CD
To make sure that the CD-R drive or the CD-RW drive is recognized as a recordable drive, make sure that the Recording tab appears in the CD drive properties:
Click Start, and then click My Computer.
Right-click the CD-R drive or the CD-RW drive, click Properties, and then look for the Recording tab

If it is not that
Go here and try
Method 3 in the "General troubleshooting" section
and Method 1 in the "Advanced troubleshooting" section.

I've been trying to burn DVD-R discs, but it never finishes. It always stops at what looks like 90% or 95% done. I have 2 burners (one which was factory installed and one which is a LG). Both of them give me the same problem. I recently re-installed Windows 7. Microsoft's website has identified my LG drive as being compatible. I've tried 2 different programs (Roxio and something else). Also, if I try canceling the burn, the programs won't be able to. Roxio just says: "Project canceling" and it looks like it's working, but it never completes. How can I get these problems fixed? Thanks.

Ideally I'd like the result to be able to install itself exactly as I had installed it with the discs without requiring me to babysit it as I do the discs when they ask about partitions time zones user name etc etc Just use the info that has already been given in the initial install Simply mirror what is on the drive in a bootable installation disc Does this exist

A:Please advise on burning OP sys restore disc.

A program like Acronis True Image can do what you want but a full XP install + applications may not fit on a single DVD. You may need multiple discs or something like an external drive.

The way it works is you would install XP and everything else. Boot from the Acronis Boot disc and then create an image of the OS drive or partition. Then if you ever wanted to go back to that image you could by booting off the boot disc.

I would try dvd+r

You may have discs labelled and packaged the same but they may be from different batches or manufacturers, dvd+r is the more recent technology. Also you could check if "InCD" is running on your system. This is a Nero software known for causing havoc.

A:Having trouble Burning a SlipStreamed XP-SP2 Disc please help me.

Just put all the files in a folder, then highlight them all, right click, then send to, and then highlight your CD burner. The default XP burner should work just fine for this kind of work. No need to create an IMG file.

I converted a season of a TV show (12 episodes) and would like to burn to a bluray disc.

Is that possible?

I tried IMGBURN, but it won't accept the bluray disc, unless I'm missing a setting?

Any programs that would accomplish this?

Thanks,

Paul

Just tried Aleesoft Easy Blu-ray Creator - Blu-ray Burner, Burn video to Blu-ray, AVCHD, DVD, SVCD, VCD

The files are 10gbs, but when I try to burn it says "too Big" for bluray disc (25gbs)

didn't know where to put this, but here goes...

I have 2 ISO files, both of them contain videos. I've made them into ISOs so i can burn them to a disc. I know they work separately because I've tried burning one to a disc. However, would it be possible to burn them BOTH to the disc, so one plays after the other? If so, how would I choose which one plays first? I use vista, I've got a DVD+RW and I use ImgBurn as my DVD burner.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

I would like to burn some image (mostly .jpeg) files in a way
that will make them viewable with a normal DVD player, that doesn't support DiVX or anything similar.

How can I do that?

I use Ashampoo Burning Studio 2009.

Thanks in advance.

A:Solved: Burning images to a DVD disc

The simplest way is to burn the jpg files as a regular data disc.

I can put a disc like that into my DVD player and the player will show you the files and folders similar to Windows Explorer. Then you select the files you want to see and the player has a built in slide show player. It's pretty basic, it will show them in sequential order or random.

If you want something fancier like a slide show with effects and music you'd have to use something like NeroVision to create one.

I have a Compaq Presario SR1650NX with a Lightscribe DVD-Writer/CD-Writer
I have downloaded the newest version of Lightscribe and everything seems to be working correctly. When I "burn/etch" the disc it comes out blank. I have had this PC since 2005 and have NEVER been able to burn a label. Is there a way for me to tell if my burner is actually equipped to burn labels, or if the wrong drive was installed?

My operating system is Windows XP. AMD Athlon 64 Processor.

If you can help me I would be so happy. I have not been able to get help from Lightscribe or HP/Compaq.

A:DVD burning gone wrong now disc showing nothing

Burning multiple sessions to a DVD-R disk is most likely the problem. (Ideally, you should be using an external hard drive to backup) You should use DVD-RW, rewritable, disks and just burn everything in one session, close the disk; then move onto next DVD-RW, burn everything, close disk. continue this until you are back to the original disk in a rotation, then erase the disk, and continue on.
As for why you cannot see data on the DVD-R disk, it's most likely because of the multiple sessions. On a DVD-R or +R disk you should burn once, and be done with it. You might be able to recover data with a 3rd party program, but since it's optical media my hopes are not high. Be sure to have the "show hidden files & folders" option ticked on so maybe, if the files are hidden on the DVD-R disk you might be able to see them.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I hope this helps you in the future.

I am my boyfriend's tech support, but this problem is out of my league. Your help would be much appreciated.

He is running XP, using the built-in burning utility. He can use his disc drive to read and it will eject as normal. However, if he has burned a disc (CD-R or DVD) the drive freezes up and will not eject until after a restart. No error codes, just freezes up until restart. When he has restarted and retrieves the disc, is has burned correctly and is readable.

Does anyone have an idea of what is going wrong here? I've scanned some forums and found various issues with write speed (our current disc spool is Memorex CD-R 52x 700MB) and problems with this or that software, but he is using the built in utility for XP, which I believe is a Roxio driver? Any solutions would be oh so appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with another PC i have, and here are my symptoms:

I have Itunes open, and i have a disc in both of my burn drives(CD-RW, and DVD-R). I'm trying to burn to the CD-RW drive and make a disc with just music.

I try to do the burn and my PC just crashes, and reboots. Only message i receive is "Your system has recovered from a serious error."

Anyhow, I've done a search with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and came up with nothing. Also searched with Spybot and came up with nothing.

So, i don't believe this is viral or trojan related, my first bet would be is my hardware is just going out, because i have had this PC for about 5 years now.

Anyway, I hope someone knows the answer/solution to my problem.

Thanks,

DH

i cant seem to find the Windows Disc Image Burning Tool when i right click on iso image to burn to disc please help

A:Windows 7 Disc Image Burning Tool

As mentioned in the linked article

Windows Disc Image Burner will need to be set as the default program with all of it associations (.iso & .img) set to it for this to work. It is by default in Windows 7.Click to expand...

If you have installed other burning software (e.g. Nero), the Windows Disk Image Burner will still work but not exactly the same as the steps in the article. To access it you right click on the ISO you want to burn and click "Open with", then choose Windows Disk Image Burner.

A:Solved: what disc to use for burning music (that will play in my car)

What you did wrong was you used a CD-RW instead of a CD-R. While most computer optical drives can read CD-RW's regular CD players, especially older ones, can have problems reading them.

So just stick to burning CD-R's or "Music" CD-R's, either one should work.

Hi all,

A friend of mine is trying to burn some songs that he has downloaded, to CD. I am unsure (and he doesnít know how to check) which Nero he is using. He has told me that he goes to: AUDIO CD, and adds the songs that he wants. Once it has been completed, it says that it has burned successfully. He then tries to play it on his stereo and nothing happens, he puts the disc back into the computer drive and it says the disc is empty.

Could this be an incompatible disc problem, or maybe the songs heís downloaded may be ones (like itunes) where you canít burn them to disc.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

A:Nero CD burning shows empty disc

In Nero Burning ROM, the Help / About Nero ... menu selection should show a screen with the detailed version number.

I believe one of the options in Nero is to run a simulated burn test without actually burning to the CD. Make sure that box is not checked. Not sure if a "Burn Successful" message shows up at the end of the test.

Can your friend hear the CD-ROM drive spin up when the burning starts? Are there any activity lights on the drive to indicate burning in progress?

One of the options when starting a burn is to verify the CD contents right after burning is completed. What happens if that box is checked?

Has this version of Nero ever worked to burn any type of audio or data CD on this drive?
