I never used it because I had better already but I gave it to my younger sister and she broke the dongle receiver a while back so I bought a little blue tooth one to compensate but I can't get it to find the keyboard and mouse I tried installing the receiver hardware and doing the quot add quot search but it couldn't find the mouse and keyboard I hit the connect button for five seconds before doing the search to make it open to connect but the wizard couldn't find anything so I went into settings and set everything according to what I found online but it still couldn't find it I searched around online a little more and came across instructions to setup the computer for blue tooth interactions by going into services msc but still the mouse and keyboard are not found by the blue tooth receiver I thought any blue tooth receiver dongle would work to catch the signals and allow the keyboard and mouse to work once more rather then become a complete paper weight Am I doing somthing wrong If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it Keyboard model number is HP URFK Mouse model number is HP URF This is the dongle receiver that I bought eBay - New amp used electronics cars apparel collectibles sporting goods amp more at low prices

Preferred Solution: Using Bluetooth Receiver to replace broken OEM one...Won't work?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/directdownload.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: Using Bluetooth Receiver to replace broken OEM one...Won't work?

My guess is that the keyboard and mouse are wireless but NOT Bluetooth. Bluetooth is a published, industry standard but most wireless keyboards and mice on the market use a different, non-standard technology than Bluetooth. You may be able to buy a replacement wireless receiver directly from HP.

If the keyboard and mouse support Bluetooth they will most likely have the Bluetooth symbol on them to indicate that they are Bluetooth.

I'm using a Bluetooth dongle similar to the one that you purchased on this netbook I'm using right now and it works fine with my Targus Bluetooth mouse.

HP wireless keyboard/mouse USB receiver broken. need replacement cant find replacement online. model number listed back of the USB receiver : MORFGIUO-D please direct me to place where i can get a replacement ASAP!!!!

A:HP wireless keyboard/mouse USB receiver broken. need replace...

It can't be replaced separately. The wireless dongle for a wireless keyboard/mouse set is paired with a dongle at the factory and if it is broken, the set is no more. It is now defunct, broken, kaput. Replace it with a Logitech wireless mouse/keyboard combo. A Logitech wireless mouse/keyboard set will come with its own unifying dongle that actually can be replaced if it is broken.

Okay so I don t really know if a solution is out there but here is the situation I m in I only have one discovered bluetooth devices Logitech Bluetooth receiver by not available USB port left which I am currently using for the Logitech Bluetooth dongle that came with my Logitech K solar keyboard I would also like to attach my Samsung wep headset for Bluetooth devices not discovered by Logitech bluetooth receiver Skype calls I have tried to discover the headset with and without Logitechs software installed with no luck I then checked device manager which does not show the dongle as a Bluetooth receiver device My assumption from that is that Logitech has it setup Bluetooth devices not discovered by Logitech bluetooth receiver to only receive from their own devices Since I have no room for another dongle and a hub isn t really ideal Is there some way to force the dongle to detect normal Bluetooth devices I ve searched for a custom driver or other work around with no luck so far This is on a computer running Windows bit nbsp

I've searched here and Google but haven't found the answer. I bought a bluetooth audio receiver to stream music to my stereo receiver and speakers. The device connected to the computer (Windows 8.1) perfectly. Appears as connected to the computer. But music played on the PC doesn't get to the stereo speakers. I can connect the device to my android phone and play music through the stereo speakers perfectly.

In Windows Volume Control, the BT device appears and is selected. When I try to play music through my receiver, I can hear music coming from my PC speakers (barely) but nothing through the stereo. What am I missing?

A:Streaming music to receiver thru bluetooth

How are you connecting the device to the PC? Via the headphone jack? GREEN speaker jack on the rear? Since it works with a phone I assume its being connected via an analog audio jack?

Hello.

I'm having an issue with this thing.

It took me a long time to make it works, cause I was looking for right drivers. Now I have problem, which was from start. So, the device works corectly, but I have some delays when I listen to music. I press start in music player (foobar2000 or youtube) and the sound goes after 15~20 sec. It happens in most cases, not always, but...

Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit SP1 with an ASUS Bluetooth adapter that supports bluetooth 2.1 and A2DP. I can get it to pair with my iPhone but not my Pioneer VSX-921k.
The Pioneer uses a BT100 adapter to connect via bluetooth, it works with my iPhone perfectly, but again, cannot be seen by the PC.
I have tried multiple adapters, several drivers, and a few different programs. I still cannot get them to pair, though I see online it is quite possible. Help please!!

I have installed actual Bluetooth-stack v9.10.32(T)
Also added Bluetooth filter package and Bluetooth monitor (cannot see them in the control panel under "programs and features)
But cannot complete pairing with an Denon AVR-X1100

when connecting with the Toshiba all steps look good until the pairing code is displayed.
I confirm it and the Denon displays the Toshiba as paired and connected
but the Bluetooth wizard is displaying for a while:
"setting up audio device"
and ends up with "connection to a remote device failed please try again"
and windows7 displays "Authentication went wrong"

My Iphone and my Dell Latitude connects without any problems so it should be related to the Toshiba Bluetooth-stack (settings)
any Idea how to solve it?

thank you in advance

I have a new Acer Aspire V - laptop with Windows x on 7 shutdown & issues Bluetooth Windows receiver causing USB startup Yesterday I bought a GPS receiver Qstarz XT It has a wireless Bluetooth adapter just like a keyboard Bluetooth USB receiver causing startup & shutdown issues on Windows 7 mouse adapter I noticed that my laptop was having issues shutting down I would tell it to shut down and a few hours later the laptop would still be busy shutting down I manually shut it down and when I started it again there was a notification that a crash dump had been created It also had issues starting up I found that these problems stopped as soon as I removed the Bluetooth USB receiver from the USB port I checked the event logs and they show numerous errors related to the bluetooth device Always two identical warnings followed by an error The warning is Event BTHUSB - A command sent to the adapter has timed out The adapter did not respond The error is Event BTHUSB - The local Bluetooth adapter has failed in an undetermined manner and will not be used The driver has been unloaded If I go to devices and printers this is the information that it shows regarding the Bluetooth USB reciever broadcom bluetooth usb uhe dongle Device Type Bluetooth Radios Manufacturer Broadcom Location Location Port Hub Driver Version Date - I have also run the diagnostic tool and attached the zip file

Also if I check device manager, In Broadcom 2046 Bluetooth 2.1 USB UHE Dongle Properties, I will get a message sometimes saying 'Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). After a minute or so it will change and say 'This device is working properly.' Almost immediately afterwards it will change again and display the error message again.
Also it shows the yellow triangle by the device, and this disappears when it is 'working', only to appear a few minutes later again.

A:weird, unplug usb receiver and computer doesn't recognize; bluetooth fails

The Bluetooth might be connected internally via USB hubs and when you suddenly unplug the USB stuff, the bluetooth stops working because all the hubs are "disconnected".
As for the USB not working until after Outlook 07 is shut down ... maybe your computer can't handle the process. How long do you wait until you decide to restart?

This is REALLY bugging me, I've manually installed the windows drivers, ive tried XBCD nothing works.

From what I understand there is no problem with the receiver or the controller itself it's the drivers. I agree with that because when I bought the receiver and plugged it in, windows wouldnt install any drivers, and I was unable to connect anything. I then manually installed the microsoft drivers for the receiver and voila, I connected instantly.

Anyways, what the hell. Why would my controller stop connecting? Ive tried 3 usb port's ive tried 2 different drivers. Microsoft and XBCD neither work. (XBCD I install the driver and then the application wont open...)

Any help? This is bugging the hell out of me

A:s/pdif output does not work on receiver

You have to switch to ?digital output? from the sound applet and then ? "set as default". Vista works simultaneously with the sound devices.
To have DTS or DD you have to use ffdshow or vista codec pack.

Shucks.. just received this today and it doesn't work for squat. I'm trying to get my wireless controller to work on my 64x vista with the receiver. I've installed the necessary driver and software as well. Think I can get this working? Or do I just have to buy a wired controller, assuming that even works.

The USB is connected directly to the mob, so it's not power related. I've restarted and disconnected all other usb connections. Also those little signal buttons don't help either.

Again I'm hearing this a common problem. Either because my pc can't pump out enough power for it, even though it's high end. Or there are driver conflicts between the receiver and any logitech mouse/keyboards.

i had the same problem, but i had this problem because of my mouse, its a razer lachesis banshee V2 (eats the power because of the pulsating snakes), all i did was plug in an externally powered usb hub and plugged my wireless reciever into that and it works.

The two headphone jacks both broke at the same instant when i plugged in a second headphone. The problem seems to be hardware related because when both versions of windows that i have installed, windows 7 and windows xp, do not give out sound to the headphone jacks. Good thing i have another laptop of the exact same model that broke a while back. i could take the needed part from the broken computer and build it into the working one. All i need is some instructions on how to do so.

Easy to do

Its not a complicated item to change.. You will need a T-9 Torx driver.. Pull the rubber pads off the Bezel.. (all 5 4 small corner and the one long center top) Then the rest is downhill.. If you need a screen I have one here..

My PC doesn't get detect 5GHz and the increase bandwidth from my router, so I want to replace it. But before I take it apart, I want to make sure that I can do so and buy the right parts. Is this possible, and if so what should I get? I also want to add bluetooth as I remember the website had an option to do so, but bc the Costco Set Config was cheaper, I went that route instead.  Is it possible to do this internally w/o an external part [like a usb dongle] PS. Hi,

I was trying to setup my bluetooh to connect to my devices, somehow the bluetooth window is broken.

Attached is the picture of the said window.
I'd tried reinstalling the bluetooth drivers from Intel and DELL. The one from DELL complains of the installed bluetooth driver is newer than from DELL. The Intel's ended prematurely.

I'm suspecting that the file is corrupt and I'll just need to replace the file to fix it. Question is, what is the name of the file? And how do I replace the file since it is a system file and won't allow a simple copy & paste.
Thanks!

Hi,

In an abstract sense I wonder if a regular usb lead, can be replaced with two bluetooth dongles and a female-to-male usb adapter.

More specifically, I am simply trying to replace the wire I normally use to connect pc with printer.

Why should I need to buy more expensive equipment, such as printer servers, etc etc...

Is it really not possible to buy to simple pair of bluetooth dongles [possigly identical] and use this as a replacement virtual wire?
I would have thought that if the printer can power up its dongle, this should have been possible.

I really wonder why people didnt think of this before:
just to sell dedicated bluetooth dongle pairs, one with a female plug, the other with a male plug, such that the two could be used as a virtual usb wire.

Please excuse my ignorance, and allow for my frustration. This is an honest question.
Many thanks,
Mike.

Whenever I try to make a call on the desktop version of skype, the program crashes. Whenever I try to open HP support assistant, the program crashes. When i am using the metro app version of skype I get a weird artifacting type problem on any of the buttons. I have this same problem in internet explorer and on Netflix. Netflix will not play on Chrome. It will play on IE, but with the button artifacting problems. My computer will not pair via bluetooth with my phone. What would be your recommended course of action? I don't know where to begin. I have tried updating drivers and the like but it has not helped.

Thank you

Microsoft zune won't work either. It crashes when trying to set up.

Did you buy the Laptop from new ? ...

If your System Specs are correct you have 4 GB of ram ? ...
If that is the case your Windows should be 64 Bit ...

I hope my local service center will replace my TECRA mainboard (later I will tell why). Will my HDD with password protection work and my fingerprint encrypted files accessible after a mainboard CPU replace?

Will Windows 7 Pro boot in after this main "upgrade"/ replace?
(I have read the thread about similar Tecra S5 issue, pls do not link that closed thread)

A:After mainboard replace will my HDD with password work on TECRA S11?

Hi

Usually the HDD password should work after the motherboard replacement.
The point is that the HDD password is stored in a special area of the HDD and it should not be a matter that motherboard has been replaced.

I found this info in Toshiba knowledge base:

Hope this helps!

Acer laptops dont always come with the bluetooth modules installed, there sometimes sold as 'Bluetooth Ready' meaning you can buy an additional module for it. If you have a look for the exact model number underneath, I'll have a look about for you to see if it comes with one already installed.

My daughter recently gave me her old Palm Treo 650 cellphone. Apparently it is too old to "speak" (sync) with Windows 7 64 bit using their software but it can be done using bluetooth. The phone is bluetooth enabled and has an infared port, but my computer is lacking -- something -- to make the connection...what do I need? a USB dongle-thing? Something else?
thanks

A:What do I need for bluetooth to work?

Bluetooth is just a connection method. If it can't sync with Windows 7 64-bit using a USB sync cable, that isn't fixed by syncing with Bluetooth. You still need the Palm Desktop software or (maybe?) Outlook (not Windows Mail). If you want to attempt to connect the phone to the computer with Bluetooth, you need a Bluetooth USB dongle for your computer. I've never had much luck with Bluetooth data connections. Given the age of the device, the challenges are magnified.

Hello and welcome.
Well, your English was not that bad. I could still follow you basically.

Since you were able to connect the phone to the USB dongle, (correct?) then that means everything should be alright with the phone.

I believe the first thing you may need to do is click "Add a Device" to let them detect & identify each other. Once there is a profile created, then the next time you want to connect maybe click "Allow a Device to Connect." Try that and see if it works.

I have a CSR bluetooth dongle. It initially worked but has stopped recently. It connects to a Nokia E71 phone.

In my Device Manager there is an entry "CSR Bluetooth Radio" under "Bluetooth radios", and under "Other devices" there are four entries titled "Bluetooth Peripheral Device". Presumably there is no suitable driver.

I applied the update "CSR plc - Audio - Bluetooth Remote Control Device" on the 19.1.10. Maybe this is the source of the problem???

I tried inserting another bluetooth device but have had exactly the same problem with it.

I've managed to connect to my phone with Ubuntu Linux on the same hardware - connected to the same phone.

I've tried setting the phone up as a new bluetooth device with the same result. I've also tried uninstalling all of the bluetooth drivers and reinstalling them - no joy.

What can I do? I have a bluetooth mouse, so I need to make bluetooth working good...

Hi,
I have a wireless speaker called the OONTZ made by Cambridge. It will work by Bluetooth and does work fine from my Bluetooth Cowon Mp3 player.

But when I try to run it from my Dell INSPIRON 5520 I can not seem to get any sound out. The 5520 does see my device and I see it in my device .

I have been trying for the last few days to figure it out but w/o any luck? My 5520 has something called Stage and I tried that but again it will not show the speaker?

Sorry I do not know enough at this time to give and more details. Please get myself on the right track if possible

A:Getting Bluetooth to work, win 7 64 bit. No sound out!

Hey jjr, As you mentioned that both device are discovering each other. Have you tried pairing them? Once a bluetooth device is discovered, it needs to be paired for creating FTP file sharing or playing music. Try that and let us know.

I recently just bought a msi z87 mpower Intel motherboard and it came with a blue tooth adapter. now for some reason I can not enable the device. there is no wireless tab under the change pc settings in pc settings however it is listed under device manager. it says every thing is correct with the driver and when I go to control panel and go to devices and printers the Bluetooth device is not there. I even did a fresh install of windows 8. not sure how to fix this one.

thanks, have a nice day

Simple things first, make sure you have software that is compatible with Windows XP, might have to download an update if the product only ships with W2K

Hello, I have a Cirago bta-3210 usb bluetooth radio and I had the Toshiba driver stack installed on my desktop but I would always use the windows file transfer wizard or drivers instead. Then I downgraded from SP3 to SP2 and now only the Toshiba Drivers and file transfer utility works. Whenever I try to use the windows file transfer, it just says file couldn't be sent because the connection could not be established. And when I go to the windows bluetooth device manager and go to the hardware tab, nothing shows.

Can you guys help me make the windows bluetooth drivers work again? It's really annoying and complicated to use the toshiba file transfer anyways because even if your phone is paired to you pc, you still have to put it in discovery mode and have to let the program search for the phone instead of picking it off of a list.

I am trying to connect a Logtech wireless headset. I cannot find any settings for Bluetooth, or driver updates. On the bottom of the laptop I found the model number 15-1010wm. I tried connecting wth Control Panel>Devices and Printers, and the connect a device option. It found a phone, but not the headphones. In the summer I was looking in the settings and saw Bluetooth, either on my laptop or my siblings' (neither of them have Bluetooth options now). I have looked in Device Manager on mine and my siblings' laptop, and saw no Bluetooth. I have looked at multiple guides and none of them work. I know the headphones work because I connected them to my tablet.  Does anyone have any ideas or links to Bluetooth drivers that might help?

My Bluetooth keyboard stopped working with just one specific laptop. (acer aspire E5-771G-76QZ)Laptop says it is paired but my keyboard his Bluetooth light lights up when pressing a button (this means it's not connected to anything).so I tried the keyboard on other devices (laptop, desktop, phone) and it works just fine. When trying to delete the keyboard from the paired devices, it "installs" it self when restarting the laptop, I even deleted my Bluetooth drivers and deleted all the files with iobit uninstaller, after restarting my laptop, Bluetooth was installed by it self again and the keyboard was "paired".ps. Hi
I recently bought a new laptop (ASUS K70IC) that has no Bluetooth (BT). I also bought a Bluetooth mouse with it, Genius 905BT and an USB Bluetooth dongle, I thought that would work. But it doesn't. Other Bluetooth devices show up when I search for them, but the mouse doesn't. I tried that in XP SP3 too (desktop PC) but it doesnt show up there either.
So my questions are:
1. Does anyone have a configuration of a BT USB dongle + BT mouse?
2. Do you think it should work? (BT dongle + BT mouse)

I have this exact issue:

A Bluetooth device stops working, and you receive error code 43 together with event 17 after you resume a computer that is running Windows 7 from sleep

It used to happen sometimes on Win 7 32 bit, I've now changed to Win 7 64 bit and I can replicate it everytime I put the machine in and out of sleep.

The only way to fix is to use a different USB mouse to go into Device Manager and disable/re-enable the bluetooth device.

The reason for my post is that I requested the hotfix, yet upon trying to install it, I get a message telling me that it's not applicable for my PC?

Win 7 64 bit Home Premium, SP1, with all available Windows updates installed.

Any further ideas?

Thanks

A:Bluetooth doesn't work after resuming from S3

Usually power state errors like this can be resolved through driver updates too.
Have you pursued seeking driver updates via the company that provided the device?

The Bluetooth BT mouse of my laptop with build-in BT module seems to work just does why work? .... Bluetooth it works, mouse but fine However I don't understand why the Bluetooth mouse works because in the Controlpanel Network and Internet Network Connections the Adapter Bluetooth Device Personal Area Bluetooth mouse works, but .... why does it work? Network is DISABLED On the other hand in Device Manager- gt Bluetooth Radios there are two entries Bluetooth Module Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator MBE If I disable only the MBE then the BT mouse stops working If I disable Bluetooth mouse works, but .... why does it work? the Bluetooth Module then MBE disappears all together and the mouse stops working too So it is the MBE that controls the mouse but what is then the relationship between the MBE and the Bluetooth Adapter in Controlpanel Network And Internet Network Connections Are MBE and the Bluetooth Adapter in Network Connections two parallel Bluetooth structures stacks alongside each other Or does the Bluetooth Adapter sits on a higher level and get access to the Bluetooth hardware module of the laptop through the two Bluetooth Radio entries in Device Manager I've been reading about the OSI model and trying to figure out what Bluetooth components in Windows sit where exactly in the OSI model but it remains fuzzy to me how Bluetooth Device Manager components relate to the Bluetooth Network Adapter Can anyone shed some more light on the relationship between the Bluetooth Device Manager components and the Bluetooth Adapter Any info about websites or docs with some in-depth content about the relationship could help too Thanks in advance johan

Hi,

I see you didnt get a reply.

As far as I remember The connection listed on the network connections page as Blue tooth Pan is a Network Connection allowing you to connect to the internet say via a smart fone or other bluetooth enabled device with an internet connection.

Blue devices such as a mouse or keyboard are listed on the devices page

Hope this helps

Hi Recently I acquired a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse It works perfectly well both on my Android tablet and on my old but efficient Netbook still running valiantly under XP SP Never a does work Mouse not Bluetooth desktop on Win 10 problem in pairing the mouse on these two machines and no problem either with the Logitech Bluetooth portable keyboard K which is a Bluetooth Mouse does not work on Win 10 desktop real marvel in its own right On the Android Lollipop tablet Bluetooth is built in while the built-in Bluetooth feature on the Netbook gave up some time ago but was replaced by a dongle Bluetooth Mouse does not work on Win 10 desktop which does its job without a hiccup So far so good On my desktop running on Windows which has no built-in Bluetooth capability but the Bluetooth quot service quot coming with Windows I use the same dongle as on the Netbook With the Logitech keyboard mentioned above no problem whatsoever Bluetooth quot sees quot it immediately and pairs it in seconds - so there is certainly nothing wrong either with the dongle or with pairing a device or the Bluetooth drivers and softwares which came with the dongle or with the Windows Bluetooth properties which are correctly started and functioning It's the Microsoft Mouse that presents an apparently intractable problem on that same desktop When activating the Mouse so that it can be detected when one wants to add a device it is quot seen quot almost immediately It is when wanting to pair the device to the machine that the problem arises The pairing as such takes a far longer time than it normally does and when that operation concludes I get error messages saying either that the mouse did not send the correct pairing code OR that it did not send a pairing reaction at all So this is quite mysterious Having a device that functions perfectly well with other machines and not at all on my powerful desktop while it can be detected and while other devices function normally I guess that the problem resides with that quot code quot However Windows does not ask for it and Microsoft says that the mouse does not need one - which makes things even more strange since it mentions a code when the pairing misfires Attached some screenshots They are in Dutch language of my Win OS but the images speak for themselves The error message on the rd screenshot says quot Communication with Bluetooth device has failed No pairing reaction received quot Sometimes after bootup the error message says failure but quot Bluetooth device sends wrong code quot I wonder if someone will find a solution to this riddle Best haku

A:Bluetooth Mouse does not work on Win 10 desktop

I have 2 Notebooks with Bluetooth and find that having their own mouse works much better/more reliably than switching 1 mouse from one to the other. I also have a Bluetooth mouse on my MacBook Pro. Two of the mice are from Microsoft and the third is from Targus. I also have a Bluetooth dongle on a Win7 computer for pairing my phone and PDA. It is important to have the drivers for the Bluetooth dongle. The Notebook Bluetooth adapters are part of the Wi-Fi adapter.

My wife just got a new laptop. It's one of the 13" sizes, so it's got only 2 USB ports but it has an internal Bluetooth card.

I'm thinking of gettinh a wireless mouse - Logitech VX Nano, specifically. I was looking thru it's details online and I can't figure out if wireless mice can connect via BT or is that little USB wireless dongle that it comes with work on a different frequency or something specific for wireless mice.

Thanks.

A:Wireless Mouse work with Bluetooth?

The Logitech VX Nano is not a bluetooth mouse. If you want a bluetooth mouse, you must purchase one made specifically to connect via bluetooth.

If you did a Google search with the words "bluetooth mouse," (w/out the quotes), here are the results you would get :

I've had the exact same problem with my 3701-33M. Sent in to Lenovo and it turns out the bluetooth device was missing. Pulled out another brand new one I had on hand, same thing, sent in, no bluetooth card physically installed. The build sheets for these device serial numbers show an asterisk next to the bluetooth device saying "or equivalent". Received my replacement unit under warranty and guess what? Also has no bluetooth. Seems like a full manufacturing batch went out without the cards even being installed. Pretty dodgy QC on these Helixes unfortunately.

I've downloaded and re-installed the drivers that HP posts for the integrated wireless module to no avail. I also show that bluetooth is enabled via the HP Wireless Assistant. I'm at a loss. Anyone dealt with this before?

A:laptop with broken screen second screem wont work help

This is a tough one due to your laptop screen not working and most integrated laptop graphics cards wont be able to push signal to a secondary screen when in safe mode. The best thing you can do is fix the issue with the laptop screen so you can see what you are doing. What exactly is wrong with the laptop screen?

I have tried many times to get my Bluetooth Headphones to work with Windows Media Center without any luck. I use Media Center to watch Cable TV through a Cable Card Receiver box. The BT headphones pair and is listed in Devices and Printers. I can see it in playback devices and click test. The bar indicated that there is sound going to the headphones, but I don't hear anything. I even had a guy from The Geek Squad give me some help, but had the same results. Are we doing something wrong or does this in fact not work with Media Center?

A:Can't get Bluetooth Headphones to work with Media Center

Do you get any audio through the Bluetooth headphones, or is it just TV through the media center?.

There is another recent post from a user that is trying to use some Bluetooth speakers and having problems getting audio to them, although all the other PC audio functions work OK (including speakers and headphones connected directly to the PC).

I bought a set of Bluetooth headphones in order to use Microsoft's Speech Recognition program on my Dell notebook computer. I bought the BH M20 Bluetooth headphones. But, I can't seem to get them to work. When I turn the headphones on, it seems that my computer can't "find" them. (The red-blue lights flash and then the blue light flashes, but when I click on the speaker icon in the system tray, the headphones aren't there. I went on line and found an add for the headphones that talks about how the headphones "work beautifully with all cell phones, but doesn't say anything about working with computers. So, I am wondering if the headphones work only with cell phones. I would think that being Bluetooth, the headphones would work with any Bluetooth-enabled device. Thanks in advance with any and all comments regarding this issue.
