bsods, repeated boot crashing...

Q: bsods, repeated boot crashing...

Well, my pc BSOD's basically whenever I touch it or move it at all, and sometimes, often times, I'll just come home to a bsod. And often, I will have to boot the pc up 11 or 12 times before it will actually boot up and quit crashing in the middle. Also, I know when my pc is going to crash sometimes, because sometimes it literally chirps. Little chirps at around 1.5 second intervals, then it crashes.

I've included the bsod below... id prefer if my pc did not do that, especially fail to boot so many times. I've ran chkdsk, and its found stuff, but that takes about 20-30 min and i dont want to have to keep doing that. Any advice would be great.

Preferred Solution: bsods, repeated boot crashing...

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/directdownload.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Start troubleshooting this by opening the case and cleaning out all the dust and debris and check all the connecting wires to be solidly plugged in to where thay are

Hello,
So glad to have found this forum and hope to get some input. My laptop has occasionally failed to start up (BSOD at boot) but eventually restarts correctly (after a hard restart or two) sometimes saying it is running a diagnostic and starting in a previous state. But this morning it BSODed on me a dozen times. I backed up all my data to an external drive and got the SFdebugfiles (attached). Hope you can tell me something about possible causes. Any and all input greatly appreciated!

Hi JuliaB & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

Unfortunately, the SF Diagnostic file which you have attached is empty. Please re run the tool for at least 15 minutes or till the program says FINISHED.

Attach the SF Diagnostic file in your next post .

Hi, I've been getting BSODs for the last 2-3 months, since upgrading board and CPU. I had tried the usual troubleshooting, without any progress, so I've reinstalled Windows clean. Before I'm even finished setting up (after first batch of Windows' updates) I'm getting more crashes.
The errors are various memory/paging related codes, but rarely, if ever, with the same driver/file listed.

OS: Clean install of Windows 7 64 bit retail.
Hardware:
CPU: Phenom 2 x6 1100T,
GPU ATI Radeon HD 5770,
Board: GA-9990FXA-D3,
PSU: Antec 750W
RAM: 16GB (4GB x 4),
Storage: 4 SATA HDD (1TB x2, 500GB, 320GB), Pioneer DVD

Attached is the most recent BSOD output using your utility, I'll add further detail if needed.

Hello niel-archer and welcome to TSF!

2 dumps attached, one is a 50: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA bugcheck pointing to the culprit atikmdag.sys (ATI video driver). The second dump is a 1a: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT.

Memory Management bugchecks can be indicative of memory failure, however it doesn't always mean that. With this being said:

1. Uninstall your AMD drivers and reinstall the latest version. If you're already on the latest version, I recommend reinstalling an earlier version than the latest to be sure it's not a driver issue.

2. If driver reinstalls don't fix the issue, I'm going to recommend running Memtest86+:

RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Forums

Run Memtest86+ for no less than 6-7 passes. This will take multiple hours, so run before work or sleep.

Regards,

Patrick

The BSODs started yesterday while I was watching a live stream on YouTube. Since then, they have been frequently occurring, usually while I am browsing. I left CHKDSK running overnight and it seemed to have completed, but I could not locate the log. HDD's SMART values seem to be fine and memory tests have not shown any issues either.

SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip is attached.

I tried generating the perform report too, but got an error: An error occured while attempting to generate the report. The operator or administrator has refused the request.

STOP 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x8058ADE2, 0xB8C8396C, 0x00000000)

Actions taken thus far:

1) reinstalled Windows XP SP2

2) replaced HDD and reinstalled Windows XP SP2

3) new Kingston 256MB - Memtest86 still gave the same errors

4) replaced video card and used different monitor

5) new CDRW and new data cables

6) new 400 w P/S

7) brand new P3 866 CPU with different fsb and multiplier from Celeron 900

8) replaced motherboard with another ASUS P3V133 - more errors on Memtest86.
Now Windows XP will not complete pre-installation file loading.

Inasmuch as there is little else to replace except me, I am considering the possibility that either the slotket has failed, or the original motherboard may have had a faulty voltage regulator that may have damaged the L2 cache for both CPUs.

I'll buy one more P3 CPU before I let this machine beat me.

Hello,

I would also suspect a graphics problem. Do you have another video card you can try? Perhaps you could purchase one from a store that would allow you to return it if you don't need it. You can also check with a friend to see if s/he will lend you one.

You can also try running Furmark: Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Finally, try running Prime95. Run both the Blend and Small FFTs tests.

- Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

If you are overclocking anything (stop and return to default values).

A:Repeated BSODs in Windows 7 RC.:|

My guess based on past experience is that it will be either a ram or power supply problem. when i have come across these type of things in previous versions of windows one of the two is nearly always to blame.

try swapping out and testing if you can.

BSoD while Repeated BSoDs, Freezing attaching file and about to post a new thread Check Hi first off I'm Repeated BSoDs, Freezing new to Windows so this whole thing could be my own fault for all I know Repeated BSoDs, Freezing But to start I had a system put together for me and Windows Ultimate -bit installed because I thought why not try it out after hearing all the good things about it and Repeated BSoDs, Freezing what not But since day I have been preferring what I had with my old system that ran Vista- I've been suffering BSoDs around the corner - At the login screen that is right after the computer has finished starting up - While installing DirectX - While re-installing Win as suggested to me by my system builder - While re-installing Win - While re-installing Win I still have the Windows old folders which take up a bit of space I was told that these were supposed to have been deleted during the process but I couldn't see and option that would have done this - Trying to install software - Trying to run programs And I've been suffering freezing either followed by BSoD or nothing around some corners - Trying to watching Youtube as soon as a click play or a few seconds afterward - Trying to scan with Trend Micro Now with the problem I have I kind of deduced it would either be a compatibility problem hardware problem or driver problem or software because of driver hardware problem So like I said before I'm new with Windows especially the -bit part I've only read here and there so what I wanted to know was - Can I still be able to run -bit programs e g something is compatible for Win - but not - or would that be a different scenario - Do I have to install these programs into C Program Files x - When I plug in a new device that would begin an installation would my computer know whether it is compatible or not Or would it be better to install the device manually before plugging it in if a CD installer has been provided Also in terms of compatibility if my hardware can all work with each other My systems builder assures me that it can The next possibility would be a hardware problem which I doubt because I'm assuming anyway that the parts would be fresh-out-of-the-box leading us to Drivers I've installed the major drivers after my th attempt of reinstalling Win such as motherboard sound graphics etc Also I've checked with my device manager and apparently they are up to date I even re-downloaded the latest graphics driver for my card as I believe that my graphics card could be the problem So as you can see I just can't put my finger onto the source of my problems so would like it if anyone could get back to me as soon as they could as I need my system to be up and running and stable as soon as possible I have attached a RAR with the scan that was required for posting a thread about BSoD although I haven't done the Performance test as I did not know exactly what to do - there was no save as option There was an export option but I wasn't exactly sure which I would be exporting PS quot Documents quot also doesnt work for me it says quot 'Documents-library ms' is no longer working This library can be safely deleted from your computer Folders that have been included will not be affected quot Same with quot Pictures quot and quot Music quot I also apologise if my text seems wrapped I'm typing in Safe Mode and I know because I've read another thread from someone else who was typing in safe mode it may turn out that way because of the adjusted resolution I know I might be able to change it but after my whole experience for the past couple days I do not want to touch anything unless I'm trying to fix my issues Edit Sorry if the post seems too long I'm trying to get as much info as well as providing as much detail as possible Also I forgot to include some specs - Windows Ultimate x OEM I also just BSoDed during Safe Mode if that makes any difference

First time posting on this forum, so please bear with me.

I've had 4 BSODs since 06/06/15 including 3 in the last 3 days due to DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I don't see any particular pattern between when these occur except for that the last 2 times it happened about 5-10 minutes after my laptop is brought out of hibernation/ booted up from off; but it doesn't happen every time. Also, its happened at least twice when watching Sky Go through a HDMI cable connected to my TV.

My system's information collected using the DM Log collector Tool is attached to this post.

Any help would be much appreciated, and if any more details are required please let me know.

Hi ng2 & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

Unfortunately, the ZIP file attached by you is empty and hence does not contain any minidump files for us to analyze . Could you please re-run the utility and upload the ZIP file again (Please make sure that it is not empty).

As well as I remember, the first one said that I was trying to use something too old to run on my system. After that things were fine for a few days, then it occurred again for no apparent reason. Repetitions have been occurring more and more frequently during all different sorts of applications, sometimes with no application running ... . The bsod message (which goes by faster than I can read it before restart begins) is different each time . This morning the system crashed again as soon as I brought up Firefox. I restarted in safe mode with networking and it crashed again. I restarted in normal Windows mode and it has stayed up for four hours without any problem. This is the usual scenario. sigh. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Muchas gracias, granny v

Were the above intentional? If so, please explain the troubleshooting steps.
Many of your crashes were DirectX/graphics card related. DirectX comes installed with Windows, so this may indicate Windows corruption. It may also be that you have corrupted drivers or a graphics card hardware problem.
If you are overclocking any hardware, please stop.

Check Windows for corruption. Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker up to three times to fix all errors with a restart in between each. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations. Use OPTION THREE of SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker to provide us with the sfcdetails.txt file if errors occur.
Follow the steps for Diagnosing basic problems with DirectX. To re-install your display card drivers as outlined in the DirectX link, use the following steps.
Download the drivers you want for your display card(s)
Click Start Menu
Click Control Panel
Click Uninstall a program
For NVIDIA:Uninstall the NVIDIA Graphics Driver (this should uninstall all NVIDIA software and drivers)
Restart your computer
Make sure NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver, NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player, NVIDIA HD Audio Driver, and NVIDIA PhysX System Software are not still listed under Uninstall a program through Control Panel
If any remain of the above, uninstall one at a time
If asked to restart after uninstalling any of the above, do so, and continue uninstalling any remaining NVIDIA items until all are removed

Restart your computer after uninstalling drivers for all display cards
Install the driver you selected for the display cards once Windows starts

Remember to try multiple versions of the graphics drivers, download them fresh, and install the freshly downloaded drivers.

Hi there everyone at techsupport Well Am Gautam from INdia Ok here goes my story I have a ASUS P C Delux motherboard - days back i started to get the usual blue screen of death saying that quot DRIVER IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL quot then some memory dump and i have to restart my Repeated card BSODs, fault ? at NIC PC Repeated BSODs, NIC card at fault ? And after booting the dialogue box on the windows screen said quot Windows has encountered a serious error the device quot Asus Repeated BSODs, NIC card at fault ? v Pro seems to be responsible quot etc But then i noticed a very unusual activity with my network card I have a cable connection with a modem installed My Lan card is com Gigabit C on board So at many times i used Repeated BSODs, NIC card at fault ? to get the error quot Network cable unplugged quot even when the modem Lan led kept on The surprising thing was that when i used to get this unplugged error the modem cable LAN led didnt went off which made me think that there is no physical disconnection of the cable with the lan card SO when i used to get this uplugged error i have to disable the lan card and enable it once again which allowed me to surf for around - minutes and then again the error poped up And the important thing is that sometimes while enabling the card my screen used to go blank for a second and another blue screen used o come saying that STOP error PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA Some problematic file pciide sys encountered error i dont exactly know what was there on the screen So i thought that might be my onbard LAN and AGP-PCI i have a pci based asus mb card would be having some IRQ conflict SO i moved my PCI display card to another slot and now my windows system information application says quot IRQ Com Gigabit LOM C OK quot and quot IRQ NVIDIA GeForce MX MX OK quot But nothing helped SO i fianlly disabled my LAN card and intalled the modem using the USB cable After installing the drivers for the modem and doing the necessary settings i have my internet connection up and running without any disconnections or crashes NOW I WANT TO KNOW WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED IS MY ONBOARD NIC CARD FAULTY IF YES THEN HOW SHOULD I CONFIRM IT SO THAT I CAN SEND MY MOTHERBOARD FOR REPLACEMENT Though i tried enabling the onboard lan card which obviously now shows cable unplugged as i have connected my modem through usb and still the PC doesnt crashes Kindly give me some feedback as i want to know the root cause of this problem as to why i was getting BSOD s and system freezes when my modem was connected to my on board NIC THanks waiting for ur reply Gautam nbsp

A:Repeated BSODs, NIC card at fault ?

welcome to techspot.

NOW I WANT TO KNOW WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED????? IS MY ONBOARD NIC CARD FAULTY?? IF YES, THEN HOW SHOULD I CONFIRM IT SO THAT I CAN SEND MY MOTHERBOARD FOR REPLACEMENT??Click to expand...

the errors you reported are the result of a hardware problem. run the computer in each of the following configurations until you get a system error or the machine runs flawlessly for a day or two:
-with the onboard NIC on and connected to the modem
-with the onboard NIC on but not connected to anything
-with the onboard NIC disabled in your bios

at a glance, it seems likely that your problems were caused by faulty hardware, but these steps are important for diagnosing the problem.

Hello again Sevenforums help team In my last post in which errors of a similar nature were occuring visible here my computer simply died Since that time I've replaced the power supply and had the motherboard RMA'd I thought it would be the necessary fresh start that I needed to remedy the problems but the BSODs are back and with much greater frequency In fact I'm forced to when repeated practically BSODs Random, anything. doing upload the rar file from my laptop as attempting to open Google Chrome on the plagued computer caused another crash Random, repeated BSODs when doing practically anything. I should note that I'm entirely unsure of what sort of error is causing this as they seem random - sometimes they happen when I'm opening a program other times they just pop out of nowhere One trend I did seem to notice however is that flash plug-ins applications and other programs crash constantly before the computer shuts itself down I've been told it could be the memory sticks that I'm using but after running memtest on the individual sticks for at least passes each I'm not sure As always any help would be greatly appreciated

A:Random, repeated BSODs when doing practically anything.

Being that it was a 650W Corsair PSU (meaning, either the TX650, TX650 V2, HX650, or even the AX650), it was definitely not caused by the PSU unless it was brand new and also defective.

What PSU did you replace it with? Make and model?

Using WhoCrashed.

Determined BSODs coming from ntoskrnl.exe.

Crashing about once a week, generally at night.

Have run extensive memory tests (MemTest and Windows) with no errors.

Have updated all possible drivers.

Uploading files here in hopes someone can help identify.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated as I can not afford any additional hair loss.

A:NTOSKRNL.EXE - Repeated BSODs - Could use some assistance

I am a big fan of Nir Sofer's work, BUT blueScreenView more often than not, doesn't point out the correct causes. Similarly Who crashed is even worse.

I prefer to use WinDbg (the Windows Debugging Tools) to read the memory dumps. It is the Gold standard for those of us that do this and often will give us the answer by itself. (we don't need the full jcgriff2 report each time).

Your 3 crashes were caused by memory corruption. Probably because of your 2005 asacpi.sys file. It is a huge cause of crashes. In any case we cant investigate the underlying cause until it is updated.

Asacpi.sys

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

*I have read the BSOD posting guide but cannot get my system to stay on long enough to carry the instructions out.*

I have been having repeated BSODs with the following errors:

Bad_pool_caller
dxgmms1.sys
NTFS.sys
win32k.sys
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I am a complete novice when it comes to updating drivers etc but I have managed to update my motherboard BIOS to the most recent version (with no luck). I am unable to attempt to update my video drivers as I experience a BSOD before I have a chance to access the internet.

I am running a Windows 7 64 bit desktop with a ATI HD4xxx (I forget exactly which) graphics card.

If there is any other information I should post please let me know and I'll do my best to get it.

Thanks in advance.

I see possible video, HDD and RAM problems listed. Other underlying hardware may be causing problems.

Can your system stay up in SAFEMODE?

Tap the F8 key repeatedly during boot-up. Select Safemode w/ Networking. You can run the BSOD file collection app from there, if possible.

If not, run hardware diagnostics.

Hi everyone,

My PC has been getting a lot of BSOD's lately, and sometimes just plain crashes on startup. I've reformatted several times, and the problem keeps coming back. I thought it might be faulty RAM, so I ran Memtest, which showed that one of my sticks was faulty (I had 3 x 2GB DDR3 RAM). I took 1 stick out, and ran memtest again, and it showed no errors after 10 passes. I reinstalled windows again, and I've still been getting BSODs.

I've attached the files required by the BSOD posting instructions thread.

I'm running:
Windows 7 x64 OEM
Hardware is only about 6 months old.
Running an almost fresh install of windows ATM

Hey all,

Hoping you can make sense of why after about a year of no problems, I am now getting repeated BSODs while doing a wide variety of high, medium, and low memory tasks on my original-install OEM Win 7 Home Premium x64 Dell XPS 9100.

I suspected graphics drivers since the problems started up after updating my ATI drivers for my HD 5670. I ran all kinds of memory diagnostics and everything seemed OK. I uninstalled the driver and ATI Catalyst Install Manager, rebooted in safe mode, ran Driver Sweeper, ran CCleaner, rebooted, reinstalled an earlier ATI driver version, and everything was okay for about a week then the BSODs started again today.

Thanks in advance!

A:Repeated BSODs while browsing, gaming, etc. on XPS 9100

I should also add I suspected the ATI drivers because some of the BSODs mention atikmpag.sys, and the monitor occasionally distorts/freezes up with no BSOD and the only solution is a hard reset.

More info to follow when the dumps are finished running.....

MSINFO32 shows 15 memory dumps with 7 different BSOD error codes
This is likely to be a hardware problem (but compatibility issues and low-level drivers can also cause it).

There's a strong possibility that your McAfee protection (containing low-level drivers) is to blame here. Plesae do this to test it out:

Quote:

Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free antivirus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
- uninstall the McAfee from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of McAfee using this free tool: http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS100507
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free antivirus, then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.

It appears that you have a copy of Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% or 52% installed (but it doesn't show up in MSINFO32). This is a known BSOD issue with Win7 - but this Vista system is experiencing a lot of "trash" from it. Please uninstall it, then use this free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is uninstalled: DuplexSecure - FAQ

Please update your chipset and RAID drivers from the HP website. The drivers are outdated and there will likely be an update available.

In the following list, please disregard the Unknown Module stuff and the 4 letter drivers that start with sp - they are the "trash" the I referred to above.
OLDER DRIVERS PRESENT IN THE DUMP FILES
- Create a System Restore Point prior to doing any of this. DO NOT mess with the drivers themselves - leave the Windows\System32\drivers directory alone unless we specifically direct you to it!
- Please update these drivers from the device manufacturer's website - or uninstall them from your system. Reference links are included below.
- DO NOT use Windows Update or the Update Drivers function of Device Manager.
- Please feel free to post back about any drivers that you are having difficulty locating.
- Windows Update exceptions may be noted below for Windows drivers:

My 950 was purchased (in the UK) in December 2015, and since the last 6 months the handset has suffered from frequent resets. The handset has been sent of to Windows to be 'repaired' under said warranty on 2 separate occasions and it appears this issue hasn't been fixed.
This has led me to believe that perhaps the issue is related to an app or setting. I've reset the handset on multiple occasions to factory settings and it has not addressed the problem.
In terms of the reset itself, it will keep rebooting over and over again not giving me the opportunity to even unlock the phone. This will happen until the battery runs out. It is really temperamental and as such the phone is un-useable for large parts of the day, often only working when connected to power.
Just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues? Thanks in advance

A:950 repeated crashing!

Hi and welcome to windows central.
similar issue was reported on early insider builds for windows 10 anniversary update but those are all solved and currently on redstone 2 fast ring builds the reboot loop is not visible, though it might exist in a few devices but is mostly isolated to those. Could you tell us whether you were a part of windows insiders earlier or at present and what did the windows care representative tell you about the issue for which it was under service that too twice.
the issue could be because of a faulty battery as well, a few users had the experience where the phone would shut off when reaching 50-60% charge. The reason was a faulty battery.
If you need additional help or want to reply to this thread , learn how to join windows central.

My computer has been crashing to BSOD repeatedly over the last three days. We had a power outage on Sunday while I was out. Could that have set it off? I must not have had the Dump files settings right because they were not being created until today after I checked the setting again.

Attached is the Dump files. Let me know if I missed anything. Thanks in advance.

A:Repeated BSODs over last three days-Power Outage resposible?

Hello mjaymay.

Apparently the latest crash dump is not saying about the reason of the BSOD precisely. So checked your earlier BSOD (two months earlier) which was caused by the network driver. Then matched the drivers date in the latest crash dump, got the result that your network driver is extremely old.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.

My SB X-Fi sounds card has been a headache (breaking/lost sound in CS:S+++) all along and I ended up uninstalling all Creative drivers and software. Sound seems to be ok now with the drivers provided by Vista.

To the problem: I get BSODs when the computer is idle! Typically this happens if I start a disk clean, defrag or just leave the computer after locking it (Winkey+L). When I return I see the startup screen and when logging in Vista tells me it has recovered from a severe error etc. This is now driving me nuts and I hope somebody here can help me! I have pasted in the error details at the end of the message. I have also attached the minidump file(s) zipped. Hope somebody can get some helpful info out of the dminidump files!

The Stop 0x50 message indicates that requested data was not in memory. The system generates an exception error when using a reference to an invalid system memory address. Defective memory (including main memory, L2 RAM cache, video RAM) or incompatible software (including remote control and antivirus software) might cause Stop 0x50 messages.

If you added new hardware recently, remove and replace the hardware to determine if it is causing or contributing to the problem. Run diagnostics software supplied by the hardware manufacturer to determine if the component has failed.

HI,
My computer is a Dell Studio XPS 16 laptop. It has been crashing and giving BSOD many times a week. So, I reverted back to the factory default image. However, it is crashing again. Though it has not shown a BSOD, it freezes and has to be powered off. When booting, even before I login, it automatically restarts itself. This is very frustrating and I need your assistance. This happend today morning 06/09/2011 between 9-10:00 AM. I am uploading the event viewer logs and a snapshot of the event. Do let me know if you need any additional information.

Starting a week ago I've been crashing repeatedly. Sometimes its a BSOD, but most of the time the display freezes(though music or video game sounds will continue) until I manually hit the power. Upon starting up again the problem event is always BlueScreen. The crashes have followed no pattern so far.

Here is the necessary information as instructed in the sticky:
Attachment 95885

Windows 7 pro x64
Not the original OS, was installed after fully formatting an XP install
CPU, mobo, main HDD, and RAM are about a year and a half old
GPU is about a month old
PSU is five years old
The OS is about a month old

A:Repeated BSOD/crashing issues

Hi and Welcome to SF!!!
Stop code 116 is usually related to graphic card. The first thing to try is to re-install the graphic card driver.
When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

Read this article for more detail for more tests to try:
http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...eshooting.html

The best thing to try is to try another graphic card on your system to see if it make any differences.

Please help. I have tried everything to fix this crashing. I have a new load of Windows 7 home premimum x64 sp1. I have checked everything I can think of.
- age of the system is about six mo. but I had a drive failure and had to reinstall the OS in Feb. I used the OEM disks to reinstall.

A:BSOD 1000007e repeated crashing

Hi pvachon and welcome to the forum. Did you replace the hard drive after the failure?

I looked at your four most recent dumps. They are nearly identical all blame teefer2.sys, a Norton firewall driver. This driver is out of date. Your version of Norton is a known cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Completely uninstall Norton using this removal tool: Tool. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials in its place: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/. Make sure Windows Firewall is turned on. After you know your system is stable, you can try Norton again; but do not reinstall your current version. Install the latest version if you chose to try it again. I suggest you stick with MSE.

Let's see if removing Norton solves your problem. Please post back and let us know.

This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.

A:[SOLVED] Repeated BSODs Windows 7 with varying error messages (yikes)

First post, I didn't realize it was a laptop till I checked the specs (and the ever so obvious "XPS").

On a fairly new laptop like this, I wouldn't think it was hardware related...

Run memtest86 (download the iso from their site, boot from disk) to check the RAM. It's usually the RAM on a laptop that goes first. Otherwise, I would suspect your Windows install. If it's that new (to you), you probably don't have a lot of personal files on there...

The OEM install of the OS should be usable again, I give it a "fresh kick in the pants". :)

Hi .Well, you are talking about a laptop that was new 5 years or so ago...IMO, that's a lot of time to put up with anything or expect superior performance. From what I see...the laptop had good reviews when it debuted...but I don't put much stock in reviews of such products. A better indicator would be the fact that you have maintained it for 5 years. One Review. If this were mine...I would start with a clean install of the O/S...on a hard drive that I had run disk diagnostics on...and troubleshoot issues as they occurred from that base.I imagine that "slow performance" is probably attributable to the fact that all of the original Lenovo software is being used. I would wipe all that and do a clean install of XP (or whatever), using a valid license. You would probably be surprised how much removal of original software and partitioning...can improve performance on a laptop (IMO).<<...but the hitachi is PATA and connects thru a adapter.>>That probably does not help performance. SATA notebook hard drives are more readily available and cheaper than IDE drives today...and, of course, they are faster than PATA hard drives.<<Because of the physical form of the bay and attachments the only choice for the thinkpad is the hitachi hdd.>>Sez who ? AFAIK, Hitachi laptop hard drives...are no different than any other manufacturer's laptop hard drives. If you connect one, you can connect them all.Louis

A:BSOD repeated problem and shockwave flash keeps crashing

Please run these free hard drive diagnostics on All hard drives (all of the BSOD's blame the NTFS file system on your hard drives): http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html

Have you recently switched from an ATI video card? There are remnants of it on your system.
Please uninstall all ATI video stuff (but NOT any AMD chipset stuff).

Here's why I'm concerned about the ATI video:

Quote:
AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center. This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems.

Quote:
Please uninstall all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLY: ATI video cards - DRIVER ONLY installation procedure

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Uninstall". Reboot for changes to take affect.

Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's. If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

- Info on how to troubleshoot BSOD's (DRAFT): http://www.carrona.org/userbsod.html

This is Repeated possibly faulty crashing, supply? power my computer CyberpowerPC Stealth Raider Desktop PC Intel Core i GHz GB DDR TB Repeated crashing, possibly faulty power supply? HDD Windows Home Premium -Bit - Newegg com Repeated crashing, possibly faulty power supply? I got this computer in November I didn't used to have issues but in the past two days my computer has been dying while gaming It doesn't blue screen it goes straight to a black screen and I have to hold down the power button to power it off and restart Sometimes when I restart the computer there will be a BSOD notification as in the little window popping up just to let Repeated crashing, possibly faulty power supply? me know something happened but not always This culminated today in something like crashes in a row within minutes of each other and then I was unable to even see my screen as in when I turned it back on the computer's lights came on and its fans were running but there was no output to my monitor I opened it up and tightened any connections nothing was really loose and tried again and this time it powered up hence me being able to post this My power supply is W and I'm thinking maybe that it just can't handle my gaming and I should replace it with a W supply but obviously don't want to do that without being sure that's the problem I looked at the dump files and I saw they mentioned my graphics driver but I have kept it up to date It's within the one year warranty so perhaps I should just send it back Thanks for all your help

A:Repeated crashing, possibly faulty power supply?

hi,

well according to the graphic card spesifications should be using a 500 watt power supply but i personaly would want something in the 600 watt range and with a good make like seasonic or XFX power supply. but wait for a BSOD expert to comment on your thread.

Hi all I know this topic Exp Start-Up, of Windows opens only Repeated Crashing safe on mode in is similar to a number of others that have been posted before but i have not been able to successfully apply any of the solutions to the posts i have Repeated Crashing of Windows Exp on Start-Up, only opens in safe mode found addressing this issue It began happening after downloading an mkv file initially exp crashed and asked to restart Did so and all good apart from occasional crashing and restarting Now turned lap-top on again and it won't even finish restarting before crashing and this time there is no escaping the loop Tried a restore from before the file was there but for some reason this didn't Repeated Crashing of Windows Exp on Start-Up, only opens in safe mode make any difference Currently in safe mode have disabled all non ms services and all start-up items using msconfig and restarted normally - didn't change anything Ran CCleaner and cleaned out temp files and registry and still no change After found this site downloaded and ran SF diag tool as instructed in FAQ and copied all files except Minidump folder which is apparently empty Remaining files attached One person has suggested repairing using Windows Installer dvd this doesn't help me as OS was pre-installed and I don't have a DVD I have tried not to be dumb about this and to try to fix it without too much fuss but am now at a loss - Please forgive me if this is a trivially simple error - Can anyone help me with this

A:Repeated Crashing of Windows Exp on Start-Up, only opens in safe mode

Well for a start, uninstall Zone Alarm & AVG Completely then install Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

Uninstall Nero too while we debug!!

Report back after you have done these steps.

Thanks Ant

Today I was playing a game and my system did a hard lock no sound no mouse Windows Load Login 10 Wont Repeated Screen System Crashing, Past frozen image on screen this has been a problem lately as I seem to be losing system stability for a while I chalked it up to my system overheating before as I was typically able to shut the system down for a while then - mins later it would be fine However today after my PC crashed for the second Repeated System Crashing, Wont Load Windows 10 Past Login Screen time it started having trouble booting Sometimes I can hit the power button and nothing happens the power light comes on the fans work but no startup beep and the HDD light doesnt work Other times I can start it and it work like normal until it gets to the Windows login screen though most of the time it doesnt get that far before freezing then I get a hang and the HDD light turns off The fans on everything continue to work but the entire PC just freezes This PC about years old and wasnt having any trouble until the last two months This is the first time I have had this particular problem but it has been crashing quite a lot over the last two months I had looked up this issue elsewhere and it seems that no one can come to a consensus whether its the processor ram GPU or otherwise PC Specs ASUS Motherboard GB RAM Ram taken from an older PC GHZ core processor GTX Watt Power Supply Any help you can provide would be appreciated

I don't know if I can help you with this, but I'll give it a try.You may also want to post over in the Internal Hardware forums to have one of the experts there take a look at this:    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/7/internal-hardware/  Start with these free, bootable diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.htmlOnce you get into Windows, Let's try looking at these 2 sets of reports:1)  Please run this report collecting tool (even though you may not be reporting BSOD's) so we can provide a complete analysis:  http://omgdebugging.com/bsod-inspector/When done a Notepad document will open with the name of the file and it's location.By default it'll be a .zip file located on your DesktopSimply upload the .zip file with your next post and we'll move on from there. If it doesn't work for you, then please try this:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/2)  Please do the following:- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")- right click on the "Administrative Events" heading- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."- save the file as Admin.evtx- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html Finally, while waiting for a reply, please run these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Hi everyone

Im running XP SP3 with an older PC. Been experiencing random crashes for about 6 months now, with many different errors, but mainly IRQL not less or equal. I have WinDbg but I can't really distinguish what the real problem is. I've reinstalled XP several times, yet the Blue Screens always make an appearance. Some other Errors Headers include PFN List Corrupt(common), Page Fault in nonpaged area(Rare), Memory Management(Uncommon), Kernal Stack Inpage Error(Rare), Bad Pool Header(Rare). I don't have every MiniDump still cause i've formatted too many times. But i have 39 Dumps on my current install(attached).

Any help PLEASE!?!
These BSODs are killing me

This theory is bolstered by the fact that BSODs continued after reinstalling Windows and in fact occurred on the very same day.Run memtest86+ again, but run each stick in each slot one at a time. 7 passes minimum - http://www.sysnative.com/forums/hardware-tutorials/3909-test-ram-memtest86.htmlCheck Crucial support for a firmware upgrade for your Crucial CT240M500SSD1 SSD - http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/support-ssdI noticed that you have 2x4GB RAM; however, the sticks don't appear to be matched. They are the same speed (1333), but appear to have other minor differences as well as different manufacturers. I would suggest that you try running on a single stick (doesn't matter which one - try both separately) and see if the BSODs continue.Regards. . .jcgriff2

I recently bought a new PC and did a fresh installation of Windows 7 but I've been experiencing BSODs at least twice an hour. On top of that, many programs are crashing unexpectedly including my faithful Firefox which crashed twice as attempted to post this thread an now I'm posting it using my eee PC.

Specs:
Processor: Intel Quad Core 2
Motherboard: Asus P5P43TD
RAM: 2x G Skill 2 GB
Graphics Card: ATI HD5830
OS: Windows 7 - 64 bit Home Premium

I tried obvious solutions such as reinstalling and updating Windows and updating my drivers but none of that solved the problem.

Hello.
For the last year I've been having random BSOD crashing my computer.I have tried everything.Changed my RAM,PSU,HDD,installed different OS,updated BIOS,different drivers....Nothing helped. It usually happens whey I attempt to turn off or restart my computer, and when I try to play games. It can also happen when I surf the internet or during the installation of a program, but very rarely.I'm pretty sure it's my motherboard. Can it be fixed? It's Asus P5KPL-VM.I have noticed that ICH7 chip is very hot.Could it be overheating problem?

Here is the error log.

About two weeks ago I started having boot problems I cannot relate it to any particular event like a new program or update My system information is listed below using Piriform Speccy - this is a home built system and has functioned fine for about months I have had it set up to schedule shut downs at night using my Repeated failures boot CyberPower UPS I would simply restart in the morning Worked fine for over a year Two weeks ago the machine would not restart It hung on black screens dual monitors and the hard drive light showed no activity After a number of hard reboots the system started normally This now occurs every time the system is shutdown or restarted The hang point varies About of the time the screens simply remain blank and boot stops Sometimes it I will get a blinking cursor on the screen and other times it will get as far as the Windows start the POST shows no errors I can see and freeze before the colored balls come together When it does successfully boot it runs Repeated boot failures apparently without problem System Information Operating System Microsoft Windows Ultimate -bit SP CPU AMD Phenom II X C Deneb nm Technology RAM GB Dual-Channel DDR MHz - - - - Patriot Sector Motherboard ASUSTeK Computer INC M A XTD EVO AM C Graphics SyncMaster x Hz DELL E WFP x Hz AMD Radeon HD Series XFX Pine Group Hard Drives GB Western Digital WDC Repeated boot failures WD AALS- E A ATA Device SATA C GB Western Digital WDC WD AAKS- WWPA ATA Device SATA C Optical Drives PLEXTOR DVDR PX-L SA ATA Repeated boot failures Device PLEXTOR DVDR PX- SA ATA Device Audio VIA High Definition Audio I suspected after reading some threads it might be a bad stick of RAM I ran the Windows memory diagnostic and it showed no problems I also pulled all of the RAM and tried each stick in the socket Initially I thought I had found the problem when I got a successful boot with only the original stick in the socket All the other sticks failed to boot That made me suspicious Retesting the first quot good quot stick resulted in a failed boot I replaced all the RAM I ran chkdsk and it showed the drive to be clean No issues were reported I ran sfc scannow and it returned quot Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them quot I reviewed the log file and as as near as I can tell most of the files that could not be repaired have to with games - which I don't use I've attached the sfc log I also attempted do a reinstall of Windows Ultimate from a CD but it would not load because the current version is newer I am assuming that means because my updates are loaded I will try again but choose the option to look for the latest version of Windows online I should also point out that I am running Bitdefender Total Security with daily checks and it identifies no problems One other thing When the system is hung soft reboots and hard reboots are generally ineffective The system just goes back to black screens and stops But if I pull the power cord and wait until all the board lights are out the next attempt gets me to at least the POST screens The system may or may not successfully launch Windows but it gets to the Windows start up A subsequent hard boot usually gets a successful start Yea I'm confused Any help would be welcome

A:Repeated boot failures

You were not doing a Clean Install Windows 7 if it yielded that error, but were running a Repair Install which is an in place Upgrade over itself.

Test the HD with maker's diagnostics CD and RAM with memtest CD for 5-6 passes given in Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start .

Then work through the other steps to attempt to repair Startup after confirming Active partition. If you'll post back a maximized Disk Mgmt screenshot showing drive map and all listings we can look it over for you.

The steps lead up to if necessary a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which steps are the same for retail, will yield a perfect install if you follow them closely, and provide the latest installer to use.

Hi!

I'm experiencing frequent crashes on my desktop and I'd be grateful if someone can help me out.

These crashes have always been there. I've tried reinstalling Windows twice, updates Windows and all my drivers, and even ran a registry cleanup.

I'm also experiencing some instability in some programs especially web browsers (firefox, chrome, IE) they seem to crash very often so that may or may not be related to the BSODs.

Specs:
Processor: Intel Quad Core 2
Motherboard: Asus P5P43TD
RAM: G Skill 4GB
Graphics Card: ATI HD5830
OS: Windows 7 - 64 bit Home

I'm using an assembled desktop so the windows installation was carried out by myself.

So, um... help?

I normally don't want to bother the community with this crap, but I'm at wits end. I'm in a bit of a rush at the moment, but I've attached the Minidumps and a shortened log from MSI Afterburner showing a sudden spike of crazy from the primary video card when my system crashes. Computer BSODs anywhere between instantly and ten minutes later after loading a 3D Game (DDO, Rift, etx).

I'll give more info when I get back!

Video Cards: Sapphire RadeonHD 4670s x2 (Crossfire)
OS: Windows 7 64bit, fresh install from a month ago.
RAM: 2gb x4

Vid Card Driver: Catalyst 11.9, Driver Swept old drives before update

Misc: Dusted, not overheating, Had computer for 2-3 years and the issue hadn't occured until recently, but no changes have been made. (to my knowledge)

Thanks in advance all, anyone who can figure this out gets a cookie! And if any more info is needed, do ask!

A:Video Card Crashing, BSODs

Code:
RTCore64.sys Wed May 25 02:39:12 2005 (42941D90)
First things first. Remove MSI Afterburner. It is known to cause problems with Windows 7

Next, update your OS to SP1
Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

The majority of your crashes are blaming your video card driver. This could mean a couple things

A) Corrupt drivers
B) Bad video card
C) Bad motherboard
D) Bad RAM

I see that you are using two video cards. Have you tried just running with one and seeing if the crashes continue?

To rule out bad system RAM please run Memtest:
Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...memtest86.html

Start at the top and work your way down testing after each and report back results.

TheReignOfChaos,

Welcome to SevenForums.

Now with a name like that I'm going to take a wild guess: If you are overclocking, then stop.

Now until one of our true BSOD analyst is free to accurately and thoroughly evaluate your submitted info, I have two requests:

Request Nr 1:
===================
Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (located on the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec (left-hand column)

To gather info, use Speccy (my favorite) or SIW or System Info

In the System Manufacturer Block, enter:
Manufacturer and Model and
ADD the word laptop, desktop, netbook or tablet.
For example:
Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the ?Other Info? block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.

You will find that in Speccy, you can select info from the display
using your mouse/touchpad and then paste that info into your specs.

SIW is a marvelous program, but the free version does not offer
this capability.

Just got another bluescreen. Also the message I'm getting on startup about the AMD CCC just says "Catalyst Control Center: Host application has stopped working" with no other options than to close the program. The latest BSOD was also caused by ntoskrnl.exe with the error message MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x1a. This is happening now every two hours or so.

Hello again,

I reinstalled windows, and I'm getting BSODs like 0x0000019, I've gotten a message saying my pool header file is corrupt rarely upon startup, or it'll crash right after loadup but before you can login. Also, my browsers (Chrome, Aurora, IE, Origin, and Steam) will crash randomly. I thought it was a flash problem, but when I downgraded to Flash 10 or even an earlier 11, it still crashes.

I installed AVG Tunup yesterday to possibly scan for any issues, but it didn't fix it. I also installed SlimDrivers yesterday to update my drivers (which 9 were outdated), but I still have issues. Included is crash logs for Windows 7 Pro and Chrome. They were the only ones I know where they are. I'm really stumped. I thought I would have been error free for at least a year! Haha

I am currently running sfc /scannow to scan for issues.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

A:BSODs browsers crashing frequently

my brother brought over a burned dvd on easter, played fine, nothing weird happened. the next day BSODs like woah, firefox and chrome crashing at random intervals. i tried system restore, malwarebites, no dice. i'm not a hundred percent sure the DVD was the culprit, but its a big coincidence if its not. hopefully i did the diagnostic thing right, i'll try and upload. earlier something strange happened where i had no sound, could not open the volume menu, tried to click shut down, nothing happened. had to give the old power button smothering to restart and now it seems okay.occasionally when it restarts after a blue screen windows does some automatic disk check thing that takes about 5 minutes and says its fixed a bunch of things, but nothing actually happens. when i start up a lot of programs crash right away. something called catalyst control or something like that. gonna post before i crash again

I have been getting a bunch of BSODs over the past few months.
I reformatted my computer a week ago and they did not happen for while.
3 days ago they started up again and tonight it would not even boot for awhile.
It would start to boot then bluescreen.

Any program from Google Chrome/FireFox to World of Warcraft and NES Emulators will crash at random times.

I am currently on Windows 7 64bit

I have 4 BSOD log files and have even more going back to 7/22.
I think that this may be a driver issue but I would like to get some feed back on if that really is the issue and if these logs may tell me which driver is the problem one.

Thanks

There's a bit of a story Drive Repeated Failure Boot behind this problem so bear with me nbsp At the end of the spring semester I turned off my laptop and put it on the shelf Having a desktop and no real reason to use Repeated Boot Drive Failure the laptop it sat up there for a couple months When I took it down and powered it up I got this message Boot drive not found It seemed pretty straightforward so I ordered a new drive A Samsung Evo SSD and installed it with a fresh copy of Windows Everything was working fine so I started replacing the drivers I'd lost in the reinstall and left the computer running to install them nbsp nbsp Imagine my surprise when minutes later I come back to see my PC attempted to restart and is now Repeated Boot Drive Failure displaying the Boot device not found error this time accompanied by intermittent crackling on my speakers nbsp nbsp My question then is what could cause drives in a row to either A Fail or B not be recognised by my computer nbsp I look forward to your responses

Hi

I have Windows 7 Home Premium on a Sony laptop which was running OK for some time. I recently attempted to install Ubuntu as a dual boot but it failed to install correctly. I cannot open the .dmp file but captured some info from the screen below.

problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 2057

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: f4
BCP1: 0000000000000003
BCP2: FFFFFA8006B6B060
BCP3: FFFFFA8006B6B340
BCP4: FFFFF80002D97350
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\051613-19000-01.dmp
C:\Users\SonyVaio\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-63570-0.sysdata.xml

Windows is currently booting up/ crashing cycles every 5 mins or so.

I guess that the problem must be related to the failed instal. So far I have been unable to uninstall Ubuntu or install Windows 7. Any ideas?

Many thanks

Andy

Why install win7... you already have it.
You know how to uninstall ubuntu?

Do you see a strange grub menu on boot?
You installed ubuntu on separate disk, on separate partition?

As the title says, I've been having all sorts of BSODs, freezes, and crashes for several months now. Its gradually gotten worse to the point where it happens daily, though it tends to happen roughly 5 minutes after starting up the computer or waking it from sleep. I'm completely clueless as to what's going on and I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out here.

A:BSODs, freezing and crashing daily, especially after startup.

Hi Teekay welcome to SF

Please remove and clean avg from your system using the http://download.avg.com/filedir/util...removerx64.exe

Sometimes the computer will crash almost as soon as I switch it on (i.e. when I'm using internet explorer), sometimes it crashes when watching a bluray in media center and sometimes when doing nothing at all.

The system was stable, however about 5 months ago I installed a new CPU and cooler, and about a month or so later I started getting these problems. I have tried the following:

- Virus scan
- Memory check (memtest86 multiple passes)
- CPU stress test (prime95)
- Hard drive check disk
- Graphics card stress (furmark)

The graphics card did show signs of overheating and the PC crashed shortly afterwards, however I have since tried the onboard graphics card and the problems are still there. The fact that the PC can crash shortly after booting also suggests its not this.

I can only think of three things that it can now be:

- Power supply (no idea how to test this, the power supply is a good quality Corsair, with more than enough power for the components and like I said, the system used to be stable).
- Motherboard (could be this I guess - potentially I damaged it when I installed the new CPU)
- Windows 7 (hence the reason I'm here!)

In trying to fix the PC I have used a registry fixer by a reputable company (I forget which one).

I can find two mini dumps on the PC (both from yesterday when I was doing some testing) with the following strings:

010211-12573-01.dmp 05/06/2011 16:33:25 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x000000d1 00000000`00000070 00000000`00000002 00000000`00000000 fffff880`0418e2c0 usbehci.sys usbehci.sys+72c0 x64 ntoskrnl.exe+70740

I've tried searching for information about these, but there is nothing particular clear or relevant to my situation, so I'm all out of ideas - any help would be gratefully received!

Thanks for your help in advance.

Problem1: My PC gets a BSoD about MEMORY_MANAGEMENT a few times.

Problem2: Every game or setup crashes. While playing GTA 5 it shows Game Data corrupted and crashes while other games crash to desktop. Setups of large applications/games crash during installation.

Solutions i tried: Formatting with new windows 10 build, sfc /scannow, updating drivers, reseating the ram, defragmentation, memtest86 (manually terminated after 1 hr), Display Driver Uninstaller utility, unparked the cores.

My PC Spec:
Windows 10 Pro 64bit
AMD FX6300
Cooler Master Hyper 212X
MSI 970a-G43
Asus Nvidia GTX960 STRIX 2gb (362.00 Driver version)
8 gb transcend ram (4x2)
Seasonic 650W PSU
Seagate Barracuda HDD

Every Game/Setup works/installs well in my laptop with no errors.Any help is appreciated!
Thanx in advance

Firstly because I am in a hurry I will not be posting the minidumps or bsod error codes BSODs. crashing Nearly Explorer Windows constant If these are needed further down the road then Nearly constant BSODs. Windows Explorer crashing I will take some time to post them Ill try to make this as brief as possible so here it goes I just traveled from NY to Boston for a job and left my computer in my car for a couple weeks possibly an issue When I hooked it all up today to get everything up to date I found it hard to get anything done as nearly every five to ten minutes either windows explorer would crash a BSOD would appear or it would become to laggy slow to complete anything These events happen anytime I even attempt to do anything that requires an adequate cpu workload browsing facebook youtube updating windows or drivers searching hard drives etc The BSOD s are always different there are four or five different error codes I have seen so far x e and x a are the only two I remember right now What could be the reasoning for this I cant even update roll back drivers update windows or uninstall anything because it crashes before I can do anything It even crashes in safemode although not nearly as often If anyone could help me I would be so grateful Thanks guys nbsp

A:Web browsers keep crashing, hangups and BSoDs keep occurring

Bump.

Update: Symptoms are slowly healing by itself. The scan in AVG Professional 7.5 detected nothing, the scan in F-Secure Internet Security detected nothing (I uninstalled AVG and installed this, which I can get free from my ISP), nor did Ad-Aware Free. Afterwards, I've ran AVG Anti-Spyware, and it detected Dialer.Generic and Trojan.Legmir, which it quarantined.

Crashes and BSoDs are still occurring occasionally though. Two browser crashes and two BSoDs (1 automatically restarting without even restarting) 2 days ago, and one browser crash and one BSoD yesterday.

So, basically I have just recently gotten so many crashes, freezes and BSODS. From what I've noticed, the occurrences can be quite random but am sure that it has progressed worse over these couple of months (started out only a few from what I recall). I am unsure on the cause and have come to this forum in search of an answer.
